A relative of mine had to come to this location to pick up her vehicle after it was towed by the lender. Prior to pick up, my relative called the shop to confirm when the vehicle could be released. When my relative tried to pick up the vehicle on Monday, the shop claimed pick ups were by appointment only and there were no available slots on Monday. The rep claimed the earliest slot was for Tuesday at 9 am. When pulling into the lot around 8:25 am on Tuesday, the rep was already outside standing near the vehicle being picked up. He tried to force my relative to sign a release document stating the vehicle had been inspected before allowing her to inspect her vehicle. The battery for the vehicle was completely dead, the rep refused to jump the vehicle or release it until speaking to the lender after a formal complaint had been filed against the shop by both my relative and the lender. The rep claimed he was instructed to unlock the vehicle and do an inventory of all personal items (no inventory list was provided upon pick up to the lender or to my relative.) He was clearly trying to get my relative to a point beyond frustration to make it seem as if she was not being cooperative. It took over two hours to release the vehicle even though the payment was completed and the lender confirmed the release of the vehicle. The rep is a former car salesman who s car lot went out of business, he only accepts cash, he charged my relative for holding possessions he was not supposed to remove from the vehicle (the lender confirmed there were NO other fees or NO need for any money to be exchanged yet the rep is demanding over $100 for holding my relative s personal possessions removed from the vehicle without consent or reason.) This shop clearly needs to be shut down permanently just like his car lot. None of the documents provided were accurate and most of the documents he claimed were sent to the lender were not sent at all or provided in person.
