Do not take your vehicle here! I took my SUV here because It had a slight vibration in the steering wheel and I wanted a wheel balance. They said they would diagnose what was causing the vibration. It took them over an hour for that. Then they tell me I need a rear axle right away and a whole lot of other things that totalled $2,900. I told them I only wanted a wheel balance. They said okay. An hour later they returned my keys and I pay. The whole way home my truck was shaking uncontrollably. My fiance checked the lug nuts when I got home which was a 15 minute drive and every single one of them was loose. I had to take it to a local mechanic shop to rebalance the wheels the next day and he said there were off balance by 2 oz on 2 of them. My SUV is fine now. The rear axle is fine! What a joke! I need a refund for my money!

Hands-down, the worst experience I ve had at one of these firestones, and I am talking nationwide. I drive up to 70,000 miles every year for work. It took 10 minutes for anybody to come inside to even say hello and I have an appointment. They re asking me for all kinds of paperwork to get an oil change. It is a fleet vehicle, And they should have everything because I have gotten an oil change before here. The two people in front of me in line told me to go away because they are charging an inspection fee just to tell the customer what else is wrong. When all the customers wanted was an oil change. They are saying there are tons of things Wrong. Stay away from these guys. You can tell when you walk in that the staff is not who you want to deal with.Update: I just dropped it off at CarX and they said it would be done in 30 to 40 minutes without any paperwork! Nice!

Gotta say we're quite disappointed.We came in for an estimate on the breaks and we're told pads and rotors on the rear were $700. Thinking this wasn't the issue, we asked several times what about the front and were told they were in perfect shape.Well, come to find out, the rear didn't need replaced but the front pads were completely bare and needed replaced.Doesn't feel good to go to a national name mechanic shop and feel not only are prices quite higher than competitors but they were unequivocally wrong on the issue.It's getting harder and harder every day to find good and honest companies to work with.Service: Brakes

I stopped here on my way home because I felt that my car seemed to be pulling and not handling well. I was nervous and just wanted some one to check them out. I pulled up and Andrew M. Immediately asked if heCould help me and listened while I told him my concerns. He was polite, respectful, friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me amazing customer service and peace of mind. He even showed me where to find my tire info and got my tires and me back on the road. Just get old fashion customer service no strings attached this is the kind of service that makes people come back to a business. The kind of service that inspires loyalty.

I needed a driver s side headlight replaced. I knew it would be a bit since the fuse box needed to be moved to replace it. However, I was not expecting their $105.06 estimate! They wanted to charge $82 for labor. I immediately asked for my keys back and said no thank you. I took my car to a local auto shop this morning. It was finished in 20 minutes and for only $51.31 total. I get that you have to pay for quality work, but I don t appreciate being ripped off.

Arrived at appointment time. Car quickly taken in for tire rotation and completed in 25 minutes at a fair price. Friendly courteous staff. I'll be back.

Came in today (2/10/24) to get a tire rotation, oil change and alignment. Manager Luis informed me that a previous Firestone in IL put the wrong tire on (a summer Indy 500 tire) and it was wearing improperly So Luis Magallanes took care of this problem and replaced the tire free of charge (had warranty and purchased all previous tires from FS)Thank you Luis! Very respectful and knowledgeable l!-You have a return costumer for sure!

I recently visited Firestone for a complete vehicle inspection. The staff was friendly, and the facility was clean, which were positives. However, my experience took a downturn when they recommended exchanging my brake fluid, despite having changed it just last year. Similarly, they suggested a coolant fluid change, even though I had that serviced at the Toyota dealer two years ago. It makes me question if they thoroughly inspected my fluids or just followed a standard checklist. If they bothered to check my car's Carfax report, they would have seen the recent maintenance. This oversight raises concerns about the thoroughness of their inspections, and it's a significant issue for any repair shop. Unfortunately, due to this, I won't be returning to Firestone.

I , in error, made an appointment for an oil change at Firestone instead of the Valvolene shop. At Firestone, w were told it would be 45 minutes. Truck sat on a lift for 35 minutes ,at least, without anywork being completed on it. Work resumed after my husband asked. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 30 plus. We will not return to Firststone but go back Valvolene , better service and better prices.

It all started with a regular wheel alignment appointment. I made the appointment for 6 PM on Jul 31, 2023 via their website and it got confirmed. I reach the store at 5:45PM and they are closed (lights out). I spoke to the person at the front desk and he apologized stating that the store closes at 6 PM and was not sure how the appointment got booked. I have a confirmation email from Firestone and also the timings on their website, google everywhere say they are open till 7PM weekdays. Guess they messed up there. I let it go and booked another appointment for Aug 2, 2023 at 10 AM. I ask my wife to take my vehicle and this time after 2 hrs they come back stating they cannot do the alignment because "COULD NOT PERFORM THE ALIGNMENT... AFTERMARKET MUD FLAPS ON THE REAR OBSTRUCT ALIGNMENT HEADS TO DO THE ALIGNMENT". I gave them permission to take off the mud flaps (How difficult is it to unscrew a couple of screws and take the mud flaps off) and now they are like "we don't have the time to take it off". Are you kidding me. This is the first time I heard an auto repair shop say this. I wasted 2 days at this store trying to get my wheels aligned.

Absolutely the worst experience ever! Took our car for some diagnostic tests and they never called us. After days of being patient, we called and they said, yup it s done. They literally did nothing the entire time to fix what we needed or even figure it out! I ve used a lot of car repair shops around and this was a total joke! I was expecting such a great experience and was completely shocked at how unprofessional this was! I ll tell as many people as I can to avoid this shop! Terrible

I was going to change the oil myself (Retired aircraft mechanic), but I had to take a car in to have the oil drain plug removed because on a previous oil change they Ugga-Dugga d the heck out of the drain plug.It took in a replacement drain plug, and the oil I was going to use.I walked out with the drain plug I asked them to install, the oil I had just purchased, a quote for $2,300 worth of more work (including air filters that I replaced 15 minutes before arriving at their store), and $65 less in my checking account. I shouldn t have needed to pay for a drain plug that had been over tightened by their techs.I appreciate them getting me in and out so quick though.

I ve come here for oil changes and other regular maintenance for a few years now and had a good experience each time. I m never waiting too long and they communicate thoroughly and professionally. Every employee i ve dealt with has been pleasant and seem to take their job seriously. I would recommend this location for any regular car maintenanceServices: Tires, Oil change

I made an appointment for an oil change a week and a half ago. I had an 8:00 am appointment time , dropped it offer was told it would be ready in about an hour and they would call me. I never got a call so at almost noon I went down there car still in the shop. I'm clearly going to have to find someone else to take my car . This used to be a really great shop.Service: Oil change

A store in shambles that lacks staffing and the ability to handle service requests in a timely fashion. Avoid requesting an appointment as they will call to reschedule and even the rescheduled appointment will be delayed.

I had a great experience. Mainly due to my service provider Dean. He was very pleasant on the phone and in person. I dropped off my car the day before my appointment. My daughter realized 10 minutes after they closed that her parking pass was in the car and she would need it first thing in the morning. I was surprised that someone answered the phone after hours and it was Dean. He said he would wait until we got there even though he was ready to head home. Great customer service Dean!!! Thanks!!!

Dropped my car off on a Thursday (by appointment) and no one called me until Saturday, but only to tell me they did a diagnostic and no one could tell me the results yet. They promised to call Monday to update me and it's Tuesday night now and no one has called. I've tried calling them about 30 times and no one ever answers. I feel like my car is being held hostage.I won't be back here... if I ever get my car back.

I cannot give the Westfield Firestone enough praise! In the last 7 months I have had 3 screws in my tires...needing two tires replaced. They were able to get me in quickly for the repair, even on Sunday. Dean is absolutely amazing. Always so nice and helpful. Thank you!

I cannot say enough about how positive my experiences are when I visit Firestone Complete Auto Care of Westfield. They genuinely care about satisfying customers. I have regular maintenance there and recently bought a set of tires that were on back order for over a month and they went out of their way to get the tires to the store and let me know when they re ready and that a good price.There are friendly energetic and take Customer Service to a new level. The service performed in my truck has always been top notch. They clearly have great technicians on the team. I am a big fan of the Firestone auto care service and specifically this location is a star among them.

Have had my car for over a year, no oil leak. I took it to this shop for just an oil change and they tell me I have an oil leak along with a quote for tracking it down for me. I opted not to do so...well... because it DID NOT have an oil leak. I park the car in the same spot every day and there has never been any oil on my driveway.Once I get home, guess what? I NOW HAVE AN OIL LEAK!! It is dripping a lot and 100% never once did that before I took this in to Firestone Westfield. I found it very odd that they quoted me for an oil leak when I never once witnessed this car leak oil until the very day after I got the car back from this shop.I cannot help but think they caused the issue for the sole purpose of generating revenue as otherwise, it would be quite a crazy coincidence. Now I have to either fix it myself or take it somewhere else for repair.DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!

Dean and the crew here have been great to work with. I brought my wife s car in for an almost unbearable wheel/road noise when traveling at 50 mph. The issue was first believed to be feathering of the tires, which were still under warranty. I was offered 2 options and chose to upgrade at a reduced cost. Hoping that the issue was fixed, I picked up the car that night and found a handwritten note from the team disclosing that upon their test drive after installing the new tires, the noise persisted and was believed to be a bad wheel bearing. The next weekend, Dean looked back at our service records and found that we had had a bearing replaced at a sister shop and that that part was still under warranty as well. Dean called me to inform that they were replacing with a new bearing for FREE! I picked up the vehicle again and this time the noise was gone. I am so happy with the team and won t be taking our cars anywhere else. Thanks team!

On August 29th at 9:30am, my boyfriends car was returned with a 5 foot scratch after being dropped off for a simple oil change. The manager wasn't there and is just now trying to say "nothing of that color matches anything in our bay"... ITS A SCRATCH!!! The paint is gone from some kind of tool brushing up against it. I will never take my car here for their shady business practices, highly recommend Bob's Garage in Westfield!Service: Oil change

This is by far the BEST Firestone in the area - hands down. I have an alignment contract with them and always go through them for my tires, but haven't been pleased with the other stores in the County, so I picked the Westfield store this time around to see if it would be better. I'm super glad I did! Super friendly from initial phone call, through drop off and the quick turn around to retrieve my vehicle. They are definitely going to be my store of choice from here on out!

I am giving them 2 star because at least they gave it the old college try. Employees were for the most part polite and accommodating. The issue is that I had to take my truck in 4 times and spend a bunch of money to still not get my issue resolved. Something was/is wrong with my breaking system. I took it in the first time and they said it was my driver's side caliper so I told them to replace it and all my brake pads. They told me they had to replace all my rotors too. I said fine. I pick up the vehicle and with in a day start have the same problems so the y say it is the passenger side that needs replaced now. So I get it replaced. I pick it up again and start having the issue again. I take it in and they say oh we didn't hook up a hose correctly. So I pick it up again and I have the same issue. The last time I took it in the blamed it on corrosion on the new rotor and said that they could replicate the issue. Not certain if they were actually doing anything to my vehicle after they replaced things. Wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle in there for anything but some really basic stuff.

My appointment was made for 01:00. I arrived at the service station on time. The mechanic who was working on my car started work at 01:43!All the maintenance I need: oil change. On any other service, this work takes a maximum of 15 minutes. The employee spent 40 minutes on this.I wrote a review on the site a week ago, but it still hasn't appeared in the public domain.

I ve been coming to this Firestone for a couple years now. I ve never had any issues and the staff is always really kind. Dean is by far the sweetest person I ve dealt with at a mechanic and patiently explained what was going on with my car and gave me advice on what to do next. Definitely recommend!
