Ryan and Andy were the stars of the show here! Ryan is a phenomenal salesman and helped me get into my dream car! Andy is the Sales Manager and stood behind the vehicle when there was a hiccup with the lights. I am SUPER excited about this summer and my ride purchased from Lakeside Chevy! Here is what you can expect buying a vehicle from THIS dealership. The sales person was good getting details taken care of to secure the vehicle and If you are driving in from a long distance they will tell you exactly what you want to hear. I bought a 2024 diesel truck that had some of the parts listed on the window sticker and Carfax report either stolen or removed before I got there. I trusted the salesperson regarding their walk around saying it is in excellent condition and I would recommend it to anyone. The truck was completely out of fuel (20 mile range) and the fees they charge to service the truck are a lie. The service is due on a diesel including the fuel filter, it was out of DEF and oil was at 60%. As I sat across from the slimey financing person trying to sell a 3rd party extended warranty telling me he drove this truck for a few weeks and it had electrical issues I was not sure if this was genuine. They even messed up the plates transfer/purchase after charging the electronic fee and put car plates on a diesel truck. My truck has issues with some lights and ultimately the whole process felt cheated but after driving 5hrs I will handle the problems to get home. Buyer be aware when buying from this dealership. They asked for my feedback/review and here it is.

I am a medical professional and I work very hard for my money. I finally bought a brand new car, (for around $60 thousand). After going through the buying process, I had never been treated so well. The finance lady was awesome. She did an amazing job. I had no complaints. Actually the entire buying process was super easy. #1 in my book. I even referred others to buy from here. Today marks the last day, that Lakeside Chevy, will screw me over.(THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT)ABBIE!!!!1. About a year ago, I took my vehicle in for an oil change. Afterwards I noticed a dent in my door. I immediately called the service department. Abbie answered, I told her someone hit my door and caused a dent. She said I was mistaken and it couldn t have happened there. So I asked if they had cameras in the service department. She replied, No, but my service guy is honest, he would not lie (so pretty much calling me a liar) So now I have video my vehicle before any service appointment.2. Then about 6 months ago, I went in for an oil change and they charged me over $800.00. I paid it because I thought I needed all these services to keep my warranty.3. Then recently I scheduled a $74 oil change on the Chevy app, ($74 was the sale they had going on) The bill came to $288.00. I told her I wasn t going to pay it. She said, you can t have your vehicle then . So here comes my husband, my hero. He asked why wasn t I paying the bill. I said, I am tired of being cheated by them . He asked me, how s that ? I told him my oil change was only $74. So he went in and asked why she charged me so much? She charged me full price for the oil change, not the $74.00.-Then she charged for rotating the tires, which had not been done. After my husband went and looked at my car, and said those tires weren t rotated, the bad ones are still on the back. So Abbie walked into the garage and then to her surprise, we were correct. (Tires weren t rotated)Why do they try to cheat people? I am a honest person and don t appreciate dealing with thieves. Please think twice about dealing with (Lakeside Chevy). You are only strong as your weakest link. I will never buy from Lakeside Chevy again! I shouldn t have to video my vehicle and argue with Abbie over things that wasn t even done. Some people Abbie needs fired!

We bought a 2020 GMC 3500 from this company almost a year ago truck has been super reliable although recently we had some trouble with the def system we had the truck at our mechanic closer to our company shop they had already ordered parts when we noticed it might be under warranty so we callled in and this company said it s still under warranty and they would use the parts our mechanic order and reimburse us for parts this is over the top customer service we appreciate and hard to come by these days shoot out to an outstanding company!!We will be in the market to add to our fleet in a few months they will be our one stop shop!

All the staff at Lakeside Chevrolet are very helpful and respectful of your time. My salesman, Ron Blum, was just awesome. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I bought a 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. It is a very nice truck and I love it. I totally would recommend Lakeside Chevy to anyone looking for a new ride!!!

The whole team did a great job from beginning to end. We called letting Ron know we would be by that morning to look at a specific truck and he had the truck up front ready to be driven. They were fair with negotiation and even helped us get turnaround on the new title faster than usual. Would not hesitate to use this dealer again. Great job!

Been looking for a truck for a bit. Found the perfect one here. Went to look at it, and decided on getting it. They just needed to look at one issue. While they were doing it they realized that what I was about to do with this truck, wasn't going to work out like anyone would want it to. This of course was after the fact, that we signed the paperwork. They could have easily sent the vehicle out, as I did sign the paperwork. They chose to let me out of it and get me into a truck that would be more reliable. I thought it was pretty cool to be willing to do that, so while the truck I got wasn't exactly what I wanted, they probably saved me from working on the other truck a lot more than I could. Ish (finance) was great in getting the rates an payments I wanted for my truck. Great experience all the way around with being vary informative also was quick with a response to my question.Ron (sales) was great kept in contact with made sure I was updated on anything with my truck great guy to have meet and also being from Michigan the response time was great with both Ish an Ron.By far my best experience buying a vehicle!!!

I was looking for a used GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 using one of those phone apps and came across one at Lakeside. I submitted a request for info and was immediately contacted by Shi'Ann. She was great to work with. I live in NJ (about 600 miles away). I had seen plenty of pics and then Shi'Ann also did a personalized YouTube video for me as well as got me other info to get me comfortable that this used vehicle was in good working order (aside from the Carfax report that was posted with the ad). We spoke on a Saturday and by the following Thursday, the vehicle was in my driveway. Frank from the finance dept was also great. He called me on Saturday, explained the process for paperwork etc (since I was out of state). It was all a very smooth transaction and I am grateful to have been able to work w/ Shi'Ann as she kept me informed throughout the process and always responding to my questions very quickly. I must say that while I am around 600 miles away, dealing w/ Lakeside was easier than dealing w/ my local dealerships that are 10 mins away (and I have done that plenty of times over the years). Highly recommend you consider Lakeside Chevrolet if you are looking for an exceptional experience!

I was told one thing by Shi Ann on the phone about the SUV we bought. Drove 90 minutes expecting to get what we discussed. Ended up with money down and a higher payment then expected. But was treated with respect from her. However finance Mgr had a bit of an attitude. Got a car fax and it reported 4 recalls only to find out by calling the Nissan dealer there's actually 5. None of which have been fixed. Now I have an appointment with a Nissan dealer to get all the manufacturers recalls fixed.

Recently had my Chevy 2500HD in because it would not start. They quickly diagnosed a fuel filter leak, replaced it, and all systems are now go. I've always had great and timely service here. Highly recommend Lakeside.

I put a downpayment down on a truck while we serviced our Audi that was a trade in. The Audi dealer scratched the front bumper and had to paint it before we could trade it. The salesman at Lakeside, Ron, was well aware of the issue and knew it was going to take a little longer for us to pick up the truck. I even told them I would pay cash for the truck if it came down to it. They said no problem. They asked for more money down and I gave it to them immediately. The next day I wake up with a message from the salesman telling me they sold the truck. I had already bought 7k in parts for that truck. I then spoke to the GM and he said sorry it's gone...too bad. With ZERO remorse. Zero apologies...nothing. The salesman never even returned a call, text or email. There is a 20% restocking fee for the parts. They didn't like the fact that I wasn't using their financing or paying cash and they told me multiple times the truck was mine. They are dishonest and have no integrity. I spoke to three other Chevrolet dealerships and they said that should and would never happen at an honest dealership.

I really don't expect this review to have much effect overall but here's my experience:I contacted this dealership Thursday about a used 2008 F-350 they have/had listed and I exchanged emails and a phone call with Ron Blum. In the Email exchange I was told:"It is in great condition and, for your peace of mind, we ll gladly show you its Vehicle History Report when you arrive. This vehicle has passed a rigorous, multi-tiered inspection by our certified master technicians. We personally ensured the Super Duty F-350 SRW s maintenance is up-to-date and all fluids have been changed."On the phone I explained I'm roughly 150 miles away. The truck's sound condition was reiterated, where I specifically asked about mechanical issues, was told again great condition no major issues. Told them I'd come in Saturday because there's a fair bit of logistics, as I had to get a second driver to drive my car back if I bought it ect ect. Ron informed me he won't be there Saturday and another sales associate would be.I drive the 3 hours there with the secondary driver Saturday. I talk to the sales person a little bit, as is deal, no warranty, standard older used sale. I wasn't able to setup a pre-purchase inspection which is my fault but I honestly didn't need it. I got the keys to take it for a test drive and walking up to it I immediately noticed drops under the engine. Having some experience working on cars I popped the hood looked, crawled under it. The " It's in great condition ..." statement with a multi-tiered inspection passed, had to be a lie. Every gasket that I could see was leaking, oil, antifreeze, etc. I climbed out from under it and walked back in I asked Kyle how long the car had been in that spot, he said " not that long" I'm figuring they pulled it up front this morning for the appointment, they opened at 9am , I got there at 10:30 and the drips were forming a puddle, these were substantial leaks and the fluids were cold. I imagine they're terrible when that engine is warmed up. Handed him the keys back and said I'm not interested and left.Now, it's a used truck I didn't expect perfect by any means but I was 100% feel this wasn't a simple miscommunication or anything and that I was lied to. Those lies caused me losses in gas, 300 miles on my car, and not only my time but another individuals time as well. I'm not going to press it further than making some complaints but I'll definitely think twice about using Chevy dealerships in general as they seem to have employees who sell out their integrity for a chance at a commission.

My sales person RON BLUM was great to work with. Lakeside made the buying process easy and no surprises. Vehicle was fairly priced.10/19/23 Used the service department. Everything was perfect. Service performed was fast and they used vehicle history to make a couple suggestions which I appreciated. Pricing was in-line. Will use again.
