I purchased a car from them and very minimal issues with it. However I strongly advise doing a CARFAX. I went to trade it in recently to find out it had a salvaged title. This was never brought to my attention by them.

Went looking for a used car and while most are nice looking, the cars are definitely not in good mechanical condition, for quite the price too. I test drove two cars. A 2012 Prius that turned out to have obvious engine issues (the entire car vibrated when accelerating) and a Ford fiesta that had a non working radio and a broken blower motor, and the interior door handles were broken on both sides of the car. They were wanting 6k for the fiesta and were wanting me to sign paperwork saying that they were going to order the new blower motor and put it in when it got there. Sounded extremely fishy to me. I went elsewhere to get a used car.

I purchased a 2015 Ford Focus mid January 2023. The transmission went out in March and Jim Banks told me if I could get the vehicle to him he would have it fixed @ no cost to me. I purchased a vehicle as is no warranty and I feel he went above and beyond to help me out. Greatly appreciated!

DO NOT buy a car from Banks. My daughter purchased a 2012 Lincoln MKS from them 3/13 needless to say we still don't have it on the road. As soon as we drove it off the lot power steering went out. Owner cussed my daughter out when she asked him to fix it. It has been a nightmare and we have lost over $4500 and still no car to drive. Worst place ever. Would have given negative stars but it does not allow. My daughter is heartbroken.

I purchased/financed a 2011 Ford Fiesta from Banks One Stop Auto in Vincennes on 06/28/2021. I ve been trying since 07/02/2021 to get back my deposit/down payment.I purchased the car on 6/28 with a $700 downpayment and signed all the paperwork with an agreement on my payments. The car BROKE DOWN later that very same day and resulted in me needing to take a $125 Uber in order to get home. I called Banks One Stop Auto and informed them what had happened and they got the location of the car and picked it up later the next day (6/29). I was in constant contact with Tanna Banks (I don t know if the spelling is correct) for the first couple of days, even spoke with the mechanic who informed me that they were working on the issue with the car and would be able to give me a time frame as soon as he was able. On around July 2nd I stopped getting a response from anyone, and on July 3rd I received the notice from the financing company informing me they wouldn t be able to finance me. I finally got a response from the secretary at the dealership and asked her what we were going to do and she informed me that she didn t know because (and I quote) this has never happened to us before . I contacting the company that was supposed to finance me and they informed me that the deposit/down payment should be returned from the dealership since payment fell through.Since then, I ve left numerous voicemails and sent probably hundreds of text messages. Absolutely no one has given me any assistance, or offered to fix or resolve the problem. They ve also not provided me with any sort of replacement vehicle (obviously).It would be great if this could go viral and help me get my money back, because my hours have been cut and I really need that extra cash for my kids for Christmas.So please share this!I m hoping the bad publicity with encourage BANKS ONE STOP AUTO to do the RIGHT THING FINALLY.

I drove 3 hrs to buy a service truck for my new business had already made arrangements. Drove 3 hrs to find it was sold 15min before I arrived they claimed to have messaged me and I screen shot my messages to show they did no such thing. Place looks like a run down salvage yard. It does not mach at all to what the website images show. Very disrespectful. Absolutely no proper business ethic. I'm contacting the idem today due to the amount of trash and oil around its looks to be an environmental hazard

Bought a bus from Here and didn t even make it home....the gentleman seemed very honest in person but lied. Bad engine and transmission leaking. Before we left the Mechanic told us we should get an oil change before we leave Indiana because his boss would kill him if he freshly changed it. Not to mention the bus door does not work, lock button does not work, and the seat belt beeps constantly because it has a broken sensor. Wish the owner would have been honest and disclosed this. Still finding new issues constantly it feels like.....very unimpressed and should have went with my gut and took the loss of the deposit. Do not buy anything from here! Very sad with how some people are in this world.

We have purchased several cars here. This is a great place to get a good used vehicle. They do check these cars out and tell you anything that they know is wrong with them. We will continue to get our vehicles here. Everyone that works here is a hard working person and always nice.I've seen other peoples post about how bad they are. You need to keep in mind this is a used car lot! Sometimes the cars are not there long enough for them to see issues. Again, it's a used car.

After reading some of these reviews, I decided it was probably time for me to put one of my own.Let me start off by saying that I actually just purchased my third, yes I said THIRD, vehicle from them. Tanna and Jim have always been very helpful when my boyfriend and I have come in to look at vehicles and it's VERY appreciated. I found an absolutely beautiful car, nothing wrong with it, and bought it at a VERY decent price. Needless to say, I will continue coming back! As I've always done. Thanks again!

Not a place I would buy anything, I just saw my truck I bought from them that was suppose to b fixed driving down the road with a new owner so I would like to know when $1000 is that I used to pay for it is. Well good thing I have a the LEMON LAW ON MY SIDE. Please verbal message me, my lawyer will love it. Thank God for recordings on phones.

Amazing group of people... They really took great care of me.. My car broke down on my way to work.. I called them to see what the had available and they put me in exactly what I was asking for.. They drove the van to my job to let me look at it.. Got the paperwork ready then picked me up from work and gave me a ride to come fill out the paperwork.. The owner sat down with me and even stay late to help me find everything I need to get approved online loke pay stubs.. I went for No car to back to driving all in one day and the car the picked for me without me being on the lot was the one I would jave picked myself jad I been able to come look and see what they had.. For sure a great place to buy a car. They are laid back.. Very helpful and will go the extra mile to get you driving.. So Grateful for all their help and love my new van.. Thanks so much guys you are the best...

Refuses to let you take the car to a second mechanic to have it looked over because everything they are selling is garbage. DO NOT BUY. Reported to the Better Business Bureau. The man is extremely unintelligent and threatens you only to protect his reputation. Rips off students and honest working individuals. Save your time and go to a quality dealership with good reviews.

I found a great deal on a very nice car for my daughter here. I later had some problems that I won't go into detail with but they went above and beyond what I would expect from a used car dealer. I will definitely keep them in mind the next time I need another car!

I say if you want a vehicle with out any issues then go buy a brand new one ! The fact is you get what you pay for. I have bought 2 Harley Davidson's and numerous vehicles and have been very satisfied with every one of them! Jimmy B will go out of his way to find you what your looking for if he don't have it,what more can you ask from the man ! All y'all just need to quit crying

Do not buy a car from here! I didn t even make it home in the car and had to call the car lot I had to dump 2 quarts of oil in it plus the transmission went out and had to have it towed back to the car lot which they came and tried to get it on a trailer and busted the plastic on the front and then ended up having to force drive it to the garage to have it fixed which he did make right but then 2 days after I got it back the belts broke I had to have it towed to a different garage and $150 later got to drive it for maybe a month then went to the doctor and had to have it towed again at my expense for his mechanic to tell me the timing chain is out and he s not going to help with labor to fix it so had it towed again to my home at my expense again to have an expensive yard ornament because banks one stop auto sold me junk a lemon you might say and don t want to make it right now I owe the bank I m on disability and have dr appointments and nothing to drive but a monthly payment on something I can t afford to fix!!!! Oh yeah also from day one since I had the car I couldn t shut the vehicle off to pump gas in it or it wouldn t run right he told me $100 and he would have the gas tank dropped and sensor fixed I couldn t afford another $100 after all the money I already had in my towing bills and mechanic fees and parts....that should have been fixed when I got the vehicle!!!!

They lost the title to my buddies car he got, plates expired and he can t get anymore bc they won t tell him where they sent his title. JUNK BUSINESS

They sold a vehicle to a friend of mine the vehicle broke down not even a week later so my friend tried to reach out to them in a adult way not rude an they responded with verbal attacks an pretty much said too bad not my problem. So my friend posted it to her facebook to share to educate other people where not to go for a vehicle she then started receiving hostile an verbal messages from the actual owner. Very unprofessional. One of the workers there also repeatedly keeps going to jail for drug charges you can see them online free to the public. All the way around VERY un professional to say the least.

Very unprofessional business owner. Swaps instrument clusters from vehicles to falsely advertise lower mileage than what the vehicle actually has. If you make of what he does on Facebook, or leave any type of negative feedback, he will message you privately off his personal Facebook account to attempt to make fun of you with lots of profanities and then block you before you can even attempt to respond. Poor excuse of a human being if you ask me.

Bought a truck that was promised to be decent turns out there was over 2500 dollars in repairs needed they said they would fix them then turned around a d said I had to buy the parts and then never returned calls or fixed anything and after that turned around and won't answer calls acted very childish when explaining just what a dealership told me about the truck and I'm filing a complaint with the attorney generals office of Indiana

DO NOT BUY!!!!!! We was looking for a SUV for my mom, went there, drove the car, engine light came on, took it to him and asked why it came on, test drove another car while his mechanic checked it out, came back and they said the gas cap was loose. Asked to take for another drive and drove it to a place where they checked the code and it was the crank shaft position sensor!!! Took the car back and I'll never go back! I was very uspet that they would lie like that! DO NOT BUY!!!

HORRIBLE. Hid from me what was wrong with the car. I checked it out to the best of my knowledge but couldn't see the part that was going to break. I was also told I couldn't have it checked at a separate mechanic to make sure nothing was wrong. Bought a car from them, 2 days later it broke down and is now costing me $2000 to fix. Also, he BLOCKED my number when I tried to contact him about the car breaking down. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. LAZY SERVICE AND CROOKED DEALER.

Took the time to show me several different cars. Prices weren't horribly unreasonable. I found something else that I liked better, but, that were willing to offer me a buy there pay there option. Good people

I strongly suggest that no one buys from this person. Here is my last message to him.Here s my last comment to you, Jim we all have misunderstandings with people we all make mistakes that being said, I am certainly not going to beg you to do what you gave your word that you was going to do and here s something for you to think about when you get comfortable so comfortable doing people like you have done me and my wife and obviously other people as well and then turning around and acting like you re the victim when they complain about you not doing what you said you were going to do, all that happens is you end up blaming everyone except taking personal responsibility for what you did by either not what you agreed to or just doing it half-assed and then blaming it on others using the excuses of running late and poor help and when this happens over and over again then it s time for you to take a little pause and examine yourself and I am going to tell you one thing you said to me, now you re questioning my integrity, no Jim there s no question about your integrity you don t have any you re a scam artist you re a shyster you re somebody who doesn t live up to their word; it s just who you ve become and what you have to live with, my problem was I dealt with you and trusted you. But I want nothing more to do with you I will have the car fixed correctly myself I am sorry it worked out this way but it didn t have to...Also here s an interesting fact I just got off the phone with the salvage yard you gave me where you said you had bought the door for my car well the lady looked it up and they haven t sold a Cadillac door since February I bought that door today that you had spoken about and I m gonna put it on you have no integrity you are a liar it would ve been so much easier just to tell the truth and to do things right this is what you ve become it s not everybody else Jim it s you

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING!! This place should be shut down. I bought a newer cadillac off the guy (whom doesnt even have a dealer license due to fraud) and the motor ran out of oil and locked up. The low oil sensor had been disconnected which is fraud. Tried to reason and whould of split the cost. But they threated to call the cops. Havent even got the title from them. BE WARNED. THEY ARE NO GOOD SCAMMERS

Stayed after hours so they could get my husband and I in a vehicle. And after buying two cars in three months with bad luck... the third time was a charm. Would recommend them to anybody

If you're looking to get bent over this is the place for you. Buys cars at auctions, swaps out clusters, and reports them as low mileage. Highly illegal. Be very careful doing business with this group. Also if you dont agree with them they start making threats to beat people up.
