Took my truck here to get my fuel injectors looked at. They assured me it was running good and started perfectly. I was all set . I came here before spent almost 2 grand on my trans they did good then. But now I spent almost another grand and I get my truck back and the engine is knocking. They charged me almost a grand just to rewire the fuel injector wiring, and a throttle body gasket. They just want their money. The owner smooth talks you into thinking your car is running A1 when they know it s still other issues. I told the owner I think I have a bad ground somewhere because my power surges. I got the truck back they never fixed it. Keep in mind before I went to pick up my truck the owner was very confident and told me my truck was running good. He lied. I went to go pay and get my truck, apparently it was in storage..? So they send a guy out to go get my truck. He pulls up in it, and I drive off. So if he just drove it that means YOU KNEW something else was wrong with the truck you assured me you all checked it out and you said it was fine. You lied. I began to pull out of the parking lot and I kid you not the truck couldnt even go over 20 mph without me flooring it. + it sounded funny and felt like it was running of half the cylinders. Then it stalled on me at every light, and I had to keep putting the truck in neutral and revving it to stay on. What The Hell. You said you had it all fixed up . Long story short I end up making it home after being pushed the rest of the way thank the Lord. I ended up having to sell my truck because I found out it was knocking and the engine was bad. Wishing you guys would've just told me the truth rather trying to get money out of me. I would've payed for the new engine. Anyway. i ended up having to sell my only vehicle because this shop lies and only wants your money and the owner is a smooth talker. Seems like they just wanted me to keep coming back, greedy. 0/10. Do. NOT. Come. Here.

We had to have the transmission replaced in our Transit Connect and we would definitely go back there if needed. Very professional and great communication. Highly recommend if you need any auto repairs

I brought my car here for a new transmission. At first, I was super happy with the experience. The owner/manager (maybe?) is super kind and helpful. I asked them to please look over the whole car to determine if anything else was wrong, because if there was, I wanted to do it all at the same time since I was getting money together. They assured me nothing else was wrong and I paid thousands for the new transmission. After picking up my car, I was told to bring it back in 30 days and they d check everything over, etc. After about 2-3 weeks, my car starts making a horrible clunking sound. I bring the car back here, assuming there is an issue with the transmission. The man I originally worked with was not there and the people working were visibly annoyed with me and let me know it would be a few days before they could look at it. I wait a week, then eventually get a call telling me the axels are bad and probably need to be replaced ($500), but they can oil them for me and then I can wait a few months. Having just paid 5k for a new transmission weeks before, I opt to wait. The clunking never goes away and I call to let them know, and they tell me to bring it back. I m frustrated at this point and don t want my car sitting there for another week. I bring it somewhere else and find out it was MISSING LUG NUTS and there is nothing wrong with the axels. Not only did they want me to pay $500 to not fix the problem, they let me drive away with a serious safety issue. I could have lost a wheel while driving! I unfortunately cannot recommend this shop. While they were kind and helpful while replacing my transmission (and taking 5k from me) it is obvious they did not look carefully at my car upon coming back.Service: Transmission

You will not find another shop like this or with the value they offer. From the free tow that came quick, to the quick turnaround, and the best parts available. My cvt was too far gone for rebuild with no reman available. So they got me a new factory trans from dealership and still saved 2 grand over other shops and dealer!!! The owner is a smooth talker, but never delivers. Estimates are never accurate, expect to pay a lot more then he says it's going to cost. Over promises under delivers. For me it was a bad experience, stay away.

Great place person in charge was awesome in helping me get my breaks done need rear breaks and rotora...didn't try to up sell for both sets of wheels only told me what to look out for and I appreciate that will Mos Def be goin back for the other set

Took my car in to get work done a couple days ago and I will definitely be back for my car maintenance. The personal is very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. They will not overcharge you and they will tell you upfront what your cost is gonna be.I recommend them. You won't be disappointed.Services: Transmission, Brakes

Called on the phone and got a quote of $120 each for 3 services. Next day when I picked up my truck, was charged $129 each, then they tack on a $20 disposal fee, and $40 dollars in shop supplies. Get your full price quote up front, or they will gouge you with extra fees. I would of been better off going to the dealer, what I thought was going to be cheaper, cost more after all of their add ons. Then their kerosene heaters made my car smell disgusting. Had to drive with my windows down in the middle of winter, because my car smelt so bad for almost 2 weeks.Service: Transmission

Called them when my car stopped moving. They had a tow truck at my door within a few hours and my vehicle diagnosed as just a broken cv axle and had it fixed and ready for pickup sameday. Trans was slipping in my 2015 jeep pete from valpo trans took care of me.very professional. Told me a price and stuck to the price he quoted me when completed. Bought a used car from Valpo Motors and had some troubles with it right off the lot. Jim and the staff are Valpo Automotive worked with me to get the issues resolved, reattaching loose bumper and working with the emissions system to eliminate a check engine light that popped in the first 100 miles off the lot. Definitely made good on his promise to fix all mechanical problems to my satisfaction.

Through my warranty Company I sent my vehicle to another shop and they were going to rake me over the coals but I decided to call around as luck would have it first call was to Jim he recovered my car free of charge fought with warranty company to get their 29.8 % and soon as he got them to give him reference # (which took a while) a few days after that I had my car back with a reman transmission...having trouble call Jim he'll do you right a man of his wordService: Transmission

This place wanted to charge me $200 to check the trans fluid in my car and all he had to do was pull the dipstick off and look..needless to say I went home and did it myself for free.
