AMAZING. They finished my car same day and the price was beyond reasonable. My vacuum pump bro and they replaced it and got the little piece out of my engine. Everyone in there was so nice to me and reassured me because I was in a panic at the word engine . 10/10

They did amazing! I had really bad brakes & rotors & they were able to bring my car in & fix everything with expert precision. They even were able to help me with the costs! I would definitely recommend them & I will be back. They are very appreciated!

This is the only place I ll go for service on my car! They ve truly gone above and beyond to help me out whenever I need repairs. One of my vehicles has over 200,000 miles. I never expected to be driving it this long It s still going strong because of the great repair work I ve had done! Wonderful!! I m so grateful!

Went to this local Midas location to get an oil change. Didn t call to set an appointment first or anything. When I got there, I was greeted immediately, helped quickly, and the work was finished in a blink of an eye! All for a pretty nice price! Snaps up to Gary with the great customer service, and all the fast and efficient workers over there! I will be going back in the future.

These guys are the friendliest and most knowledgeable people out there. They always go above and beyond to take care of me and my family. They are quick and efficient and will always make time for an emergency. While waiting on my service, I witnessed a young man come in with a flashing dash light. It was almost closing and the guys took it in and diagnosed it knowing it would mean staying late. This is service above and beyond! Great job!

I had an oil change done at this Midas shop today. I cannot say enough about their customer service! They were extremely friendly and courteous! It made getting an oil change a pleasurable experience! I will be a repeat customer and refer others!

Midas has been my go to shop since coming to Indiana . Gary & his assistant in the front have excellent customer service! Their technicians (Mike, and Jamel) who have worked on my truck have always got the job done correctly and fast! Thank you Gary, and all your staff for all the hard work you guys put in!

Excellent service and outstanding prices!! My Engine had a serpentine belt failure and they not only fixed it for an optimum price, but they replaced other components that caused the belt to fail in the first place for very little cost! The owner is outstanding and I would absolutely visit again!!

Gary is the absolute best and will always help you in anyway he can. He ensures you get the best price and will not b.s. you. He is patient and kind. I always come here for my oil change and will not go anywhere else. Highly recommend this Midas location not only for Gary but because the mechanics are fast too!

I had a flat tire and took my car to another business to have it replaced. However, because I only purchased one tire and not a full set they would not install it on my car and told me I d have to find someone else. I did not know what to do so in a panic I called Midas in Valparaiso. I spoke with Brandon who reassured me that they would install my new tire immediately same day and to just bring the car over. When I arrived to Midas with my new tire the staff at Midas looked at my spare tire which was put on by the other business and 4 out of 5 of my lug nuts were so loose I was lucky the entire spare tire did not fall off while I was driving. Brandon installed my new tire in less than 5 minutes and refused charge me for it. The service was amazing and I only be using Midas for all my vehicle needs from now on and highly recommend them.

More personable and down to Earth than most car shops; usually able to work with you on complex repair jobs for a fraction of the price of replacing an entire thing.Unfortunately, the employee who did a test drive did not clean his hands or use gloves, so my new steering wheel cover and gear lever was covered in dirt and oil.Thankfully it was a simple clean, and the owner still offered to buy me a new cover, which is something I can appreciate.

Called several places but this was the only one that can help me with my vehicle on a short notice. They are the Jimmy John's of tire service! It was done before I can finish my cup of coffee! Will definitely be back here not only for batteries but for tires etc as well.

Our family van broke down on our Christmas road trip, and we ended up in Valparaiso. Gary helped us right away, and even lent us a car to go get breakfast with our kids. They worked fast and got everything fixed within a few hours.

Was helped by Gary and Brandon in customer service. They are very nice people. Went in thinking I needed new brakes and possibly other things. They were honest and let me know I just needed a new lug nut that was loose. And got a tire rotation. They spoke with me the whole time and were very nice. I am a happy customer. Really recommend this place.

I went there because the air pump at FE was taking air out of my tire. The young man at Midas checked my tires and said I might need a TPMS Sensor if the low tire light does not go off. After driving my car for a while at verious speeds, the light stayed on. I went back to Midas in less than 1 hr they changed the 2 TPMS Sensors that was bad. All is good again. The employees are very friendly, and very informative. Thank you for fixing my tire issue, answering ALL of my questions (I asked a lot!!!) and helping me know more about tires.

This is the spot - Gary is the best; extremely personable - the team is 10/10, they re quick, affordable, friendly, I could go on and on.I rarely write reviews, but this place has taken care of me several times now, and I d recommend it to anybody.

Have always brought my cars to Midas in Valpo very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Shop manager was very helpful and attentive when I have an issue will definitely be returning for years to come.

I needed some brake and muffler work on my "summer fun" vehicle ('95 Jeep Wrangler). I read good reviews on Google, so opted to make an appointment at Midas. The online appointment process was super easy, I did it late at night and by 7:30 the next morning I received a text message confirming my appointment time. Gary seemed to be the shop manager, and he was fantastic and very personable. He kept me updated via phone as the necessary work unfolded. He also understood how summer fun vehicles and budgets work and he didn't pressure me into spending all my money at once. He suggested that one of the repairs could wait until next spring! I appreciate that sort of honesty and no-pressure experience!Services: Exhaust, Brakes

Great bunch of guys - honest to a fault, won t con you for a bunch of work that didn t need to be done and they re fast. My go-to place in Valpo for scheduled AND emergency work - they ll always help you out if you re in a jam. Can t recommend them highly enoughPro tip: Bring donuts - they work hard all year round and deserve them!

ABSOLUTELY a one of a kind establishment, not only Are they more friendly and by far more professional and more willing to assist with what I needed done! Also compared to any other business around, Brandon and Michael wasted no time in getting to it! They had absolutely no problem doing what I needed done and that s rare, usually it s this survey or it ll be this much for that much well this time I didn t hear any of that except yes we can do it! I fully recommend Midas to everyone and promise you will be as satisfied with your results as I am!! So from this moment forward I will be taking all of my vehicles to Midas, because I know I ll be well taken care of, thanks guys you re the best !!!!!

I am VERY disappointed in the service I received. I paid $1100 for my front brakes. A sensory replacement was supposed to be changed. The auto tech couldn t reset anything. I had to look it up and do it myself. My car was supposed to be done on a Saturday, I came the Monday after and it STILL was not done. Nobody informed me. I had to find a ride to work because of the irresponsibility of Midas not informing me. When I picked up my car, the brake light wouldn t turn off so I went to the dealership directly for them to check it out. I was told that whoever did my brakes misrouted the chords !!!! I had to pay another 200$ for sensor replacement. I called the manager and asked for a partial refund because it should have been done. However, I was told that is not possible. I was told i can get a free oil change but I told them i will never step foot into their shop again. To say I am angry is an understatement!!!! Horrible experience. Truly unacceptable after giving them SO MUCH MONEY !!! The sensors should have been replaced for my safety.
