Chester is the mechanic if you want your vehicle repaired correctly.I m old school and have seen a lot of bad mechanics and businesses just wanting to get your money and you out the door.Chester is very pleasant,knowledgeable and willing to make you happy. I had an older trucks engine replaced, full brake job, lower ball joints and new tires installed all at once. It seems no job is too small or big.I m very happy and won t be going anywhere else to have my vehicles repaired. Honest,fair, friendly, and knowledgeable. I brought my Yukon in with a mysterious electrical problem and he tracked it down and fixed it keeping me in the loop throughout the process. I couldn't be happier and Chester is my new mechanic.. I will recommend him to all my family and friends! Did I mention friendly? Thanks, Chester!!

Super fast and friendly shop. Stopped by to get my AC fixed and could not be happier. End up needing a new relay instead of a new compressor, could of easily charged me $1000 and I would of never known. I will continue to use CJ Auto Service. Chester is great. He was able to find the problem I was having with an electrical short issue on my key ignition. The truck just wouldn't turn over. I took it to Lakeshore Ford and they tried twice, kept misdiagnosing it, and then threw in the towel after charging me for parts and labor on things that weren't even the issue. So, I took it to Chester,and Chester found out that it was a burned out relay switch and and a bad ground. I spent hundreds at Ford!! Chester fixed it for less than $100. Chester is a VERY honest mechanic. Tells you whats wrong, charges you the price of the parts, and doesnt upcharge at all like other mechanics. He orders the parts and lets you know when theyll be in. He is even honest enough to tell you how long you can potentially go with the problem youre having on the vehicle. He goes above and beyond on all his work. And i will forever reccomend him & his shop!

After going to 3 auto shops telling me all the work I need done and trying to charge a ridiculous amount of money just to get the work done. Called cj and he was able to take my car in right away and didn t charge a crazy amount. Grateful to have found this shop!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

ABSOLUTELY satisfied! We experienced a scrubbing type noise in our vehicle on our way to see Lake Michigan for the first time ever. CJ Auto Service replaced my front brakes and we were able to get back on the road in no time!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Honest, fast, and reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable, explains things to the customer, and thinks big picture and long term for your car. I plan on using Chester exclusively from now on, and have referred both friends and family to this location.

Chester is honest & available. We ve been having terrible time dealing with our warranty company and he s been very patient and helpful. My dad sent me to him because he trusts his work and I would recommend them to others.

Do Not Use this mechanic. He took 45 days to fix an exhaust manifold problem. Then the day after I got it back the engine was destroyed. He doesn t think he did anything wrong.

After having to have my truck towed there because of another auto shop messing it up. Chester was professional, he fixed what the other repair shop messed up and his prices were really reasonable. He also did work on my car. I would refer him to everyone!

I spent time getting a new compressor put in my car for air conditioning Chester was so nice and cool - we talked the whole time there. The repair was honest and professional, and the price was awesome! I kid you not- C J are now my mechanics.

I took my truck in for a coolant leak. After repairing a couple hoses and the water pump he tells me the bearings in the rear end are going bad. After he repaired that I didn t put more than 10 miles on it before the driveshaft bearings went out . Finally I get it back, drive it for two weeks then the transmission housing cracked. Funny how every repair he made the part that was next in line failed almost immediately

I have mechanics in my family so I don't trust anyone outside them with honest trustworthy answers about any car problems I have. Until I met Cj. He not only told me my exact problem when my car started having trouble but he understood my financial situation and helped me keep my car on the road and at cost for him.
