People that know how to get the right tools, accessories etc. And the price for the items are reasonable. Hell I can pay a few more dollars just for the way they are in giving you a chance to make a sound decision from either a chainsaws capability to the effectiveness of power tools.

DO NOT HAVE THEM ASSEMBLE. If you are buying a mower, do not have them "assemble" it for you. I selected this option since it was free with my purchase (after knowing how easy the assembly was, I should've requested it in the box unassembled). I purchased a new Ego mower this spring from Ace. When I arrived to pick it up, the battery had a few scratches and the charging station was covered in dust. I didn't think anything of it. I just assumed it was maybe dropped and that where it was stored gets a lot of traffic and dust gets kicked up. A few months later, my battery stopped working. I submitted a warranty claim with Ego (not a great experience) and I asked the last person I spoke with why the battery already died. He stated that the mower was from 2021, the charger from 2018 and the battery from 2019 (not only was it old, it was an older generation of battery as well). He said based on what I registered, the battery and charger did not come with my mower. He said it appears as though I was given a used or old battery, as well as a used charger. He informed me that they've had similar issues like this in the past with Ace.I like this Ace Hardware store, but I will never make a large purchase, or even any purchase, from this store again. I hope that the battery and charger that was removed from my original box is being put to good use. To spend $500+ on a new mower just to get a bait and switch...

Local hardware stores are the best the staff are super friendly and ready to help I am usually in and out unlike super stores when u have to send a search party to find someone.

Never do I have to even ask if I need help. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly! If I have a problem with something at home, this is the FIRST place I'll go to. They explain EXACTLY what I should get. Then, they'll explain to me how I can resolve my problem.You sure don't get that kind of customer service very much anymore. Our family goes here first for just about everything, unless they just don't carry it. Even then, these folks will direct you to where you can find it.

I always go here before leaving town. Customer service is unlike any other hardware store I've been to. As a contractor and a business owner I know first hand you do not get the customer service anywhere else that Ace employees have!

Good people, prices are a little high but they have to be for a small town....update: I went back there today for a pole saw. I was going to go to Home Depot because it was cheaper but thought I would see if they would price match. The manager was helpful and matched. I'll be going there a lot more in stead of driving out of town. Thanks.

They are so nice that you feel at homeWhen you enter the store they are there to meet you.Actually l was there yesterday. Yes they had what wanted.I'm legally blind and they always ask me if they can do anything else that they could help. They make sure you are happy!!!

Pretty small store, with not much selection & overpriced. Customer service is good/okay, but I feel followed/like they think I am stealing products whenever I do go. I actually try to avoid having to go here, only if I desperately need something & don't have time to run out of town to Menards/Home Depot. If I felt comfortable inside, it would be worth spending the extra money due to convenience. They are friendly at the register when completing your purchase, just not while you're trying to shop.

The workers here are very helpful and always extremely friendly and nice. As soon as you walk in they politely ask you if you need any help finding anything. Great place.

This store used to have such friendly people working at it. For the last several times I have been to it, however, the employees were moody guys who didn't really seem to like their jobs, or maybe just not the customers. It is such a disappointment! I try not to believe it is personal and they don't like me, but maybe that's it. I am determined not to let their moods bring me down! We all have bad days.

Had to make 3 different trips while repairing a dryer vent in my crawl space. They had what I needed each visit...just wish I would have known ALL the parts I needed the FIRST TIME... :)
