Said they could immediately start on my vehicle issue when I was being quoted a rate. Once I had my car towed in I received no phone calls on a diagnostic, no communication from them what so ever. When I did call to ask questions she was very shady and wouldn't tell me anything. A bad experience to say the least.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

My car was robbed in the lot. The battery was dead. The owner informed he didn t check all the doors before he left for the night. He never once apologized. Never offered money. I had to call all and ask and got 75 dollars. And still no apology. Super unprofessionalService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Wilguess Service Center at 19th & Hulman is amazing. Just took the van in for front end work, expecting a $500 bill. Got a call 3 hours later, van is done, no charge, no more clunking. Mike Wilguess is a straight up honest mechanic and he will not do any more work on your car than what he thinks is called for.I've been taking our cars there for several years now. At first I always wanted a diagnosis and estimate. Then I started just taking the car in and saying, "fix it if it is less than $400." The bill would usually be a fraction of whatever I said. Now I just take it in and say fix it.I have never felt like I'm being ripped off. In fact, most often, I feel like he isn't charging me enough. Like this last time, he lubed up the front end, fixed my problem, I was expecting to pay $500 and he DIDN'T CHARGE ME!

Our son is at Indiana State and we live in Illinois.. of course he had car trouble and they got his car right in and fixed the next day for a very reasonable price!! Thank you and would highly recommend! We live 3 hrs away so happy it could be taken care of without us driving there!

My father used to be the only one who worked on my vehicles after his death I was lost. My son referred Wilguess Service Center to me and now I will go to no one else. They are amazing. They are honest, quick on repairs, and very reasonable on price. The customer service is just as outstanding. When I am asked now about a mechanic, I am quick to refer Wilguess Service Center to them. A big thank you to the company.

Took car in for ac repair 3 weeks later it still wasn t fixed and they were paid over $400 for this supposed repair job. Never called to update us ever. We had to call each day to find out the status. Ended up just taking the car back and taking the loss. We ll take it somewhere else. Will not ever recommend this place. If I could I d give them zero stars.

The only reason I didn't give this place 1 star is because of their prices. They quoted me $500 and only charged me $400. But my car left that lot WORSE than it originally was. I was told that it would only be a "one day job", but my car was there for 9 days. At first they said someone started working on my car, then had to stop and apparently he was the only one that was able to work on my car so I had to wait until he was back at the shop days later. They said they can't "switch up" the ppl that work on each car (yeah right). Then they said no one could figure out what was wrong with my car. My car has never been the same since it left that place. Everyone else I know has had a good experience at this place, but I wasn't so lucky.

Honest people! Quick return of my vehicle. Decent prices on repairs. I don't feel like I have to have a man call in or take my car in for repairs for me when I go here. Great, honest work! Thanks!

Left there today after having my car inspected. Called me after a few hours and said my car was fixed.I Had a light on dash that came on (ABS Light) an wanted to make sure it was safe to drive because it was all over the road when I hit brakes and it was making a bad noise When I drove it. So whem I pick it up he tells me he didn't drive it on the road but knew it was a loose wire that was problem. (Again I stress the noise it was making) he tells me its a bent rotor and it would be more than safe to drive. He assures me if there was any issues the light would still be on. I pay his fee for looking at it (most shops diagnose for free but to each their own).. As I drive the 3 blocks home there is a knocking and squealing from my tire.. Instead of going home I go to auto zone and get a rotor but this seems so much more than that so I inspect tire. IM NO MECHANIC BUT I CAN TELL WHEN LUG NUTS HAVE BEEN LOOSENED!! Mfr charged me for looking at my brakes but didn't notice my lugs being hand tightened from the last POS tire shop I had it in.. Guess if you want something done right don't take it here .

The most honest auto service business I have ever been to. I was recommended by a friend years ago. They stay busy, so it might take awhile to get an appt. made, but well worth it.

The worst customer service. My son sat at their shop for 2 1/2 hours (had an appointment) before one of the mechanics said to bring it back on Monday (this was a Thursday). Called on Monday morning to bring it back and they said I would have to leave my vehicle. When I explained I could not leave it. He said thank you and hung up. Needless to say, I won't go there again.

The worst part about car problems is the fear of getting ripped off because you are in no positiotn to prove all the things they claim need replaced really don't.Well, I haven't felt that fear in several years, since I started taking my vehicles to Wilguess. Its like I don't have to keep my eyes open and watch my back, because Mike watches it for me.HIs work is first class, and his honesty is an inspiration. If you're tired of the apprehension, then just take it to Wilguess and relax. He'll take care of you.
