I didn't have an appointment, but they worked me in. I needed to be at work at a certain time and couldn't leave my car there. They got me in and out in reasonable time. The service was great and the staff were very nice and helpful.

Sudden situation so didn't make appt, but managed to work me into schedule. Repair was covered by warranty, so no charge! Manager Mike is always calm and competent, no drama (even muted the TV when I asked so I could relax while waiting), gives information and looks for options so I can make best decision.

Took 2 hours to change oil and rotate tires. Technician didn't know what a hood prop is and put the hood against the roof of the vehicle and chipped the hood paint. Manager said they would pay to repair and that won't be known until after this survey had to be completed. They started to pull the vehicle into the first bay but after a squealing noice they moved it to the end bay. Don't know what the squealing was but haven't found any damage from that.Have done business there before but won't be back again

My boyfriend and I brought his car in to be looked at here because it was making an odd noise when he turned. They came back and told us it was a broken sway bar, his battery was dead and his brakes were bad. They said all of this would cost over $1200 to fix, which is ridiculous anyway. We left it and decided to deal with it later, as we were told it would be fine for a bit. Cut to 4 days later and his car is broken down on the side of the road throwing all kinda of lights and problems. We had it towed to another firestone in a different area were we were told his sway bars are fine and his serpentine belt had broken and the entire belt system failed. Not trusting this firestone anymore for A.) the insane up charging and B.) the fact they clearly have no idea what to look for or just want to scam you out of loads of money

I was able to get exactly what I wanted without any hassle. The sales rep did try to sell me on a couple of other features, but there was no pressure. I hate going to tire stores where they try to pressure and scare people into purchasing extra features and services that they many not need!

Less than a week after having our car in to Firestone because of a noise I was hearing, I broke down on the side of the road due to a serpentine belt that broke because of a pulley issue they missed. We had it towed to Firestone and they fixed the serpentine belt for free, but we continued to experience issues and took it somewhere else this time. The mechanics at the new place discovered that there was also a hole in the timing cover that they attributed to the pulley problem missed by Firestone. Then, as they began to take things apart, they discovered that Firestone had left the old, broken serpentine belt inside the car, where it has been getting eaten by the engine and shedding debris throughout. We re currently paying a fortune to try to get this fixed, all due to Firestone s mistake. We may have to total the car, as we re in the tens of thousands of dollars at this point. An absolute disaster that was totally avoidable if not for Firestone s negligence.UPDATE: Firestone Corporate got in touch just minutes after I posted my original review. We gave them the details, and they opened a claim and put us in touch with a claim officer they assigned to us. The claim officer asked for documentation of our visit to Firestone, as well as documentation from the mechanics we took the car to in order to repair the damage. We and the new mechanics provided this promptly. As soon as we did this, our claims officer went dark. No responses at all to any of our attempts to contact him. We then reached out to customer service, who have repeatedly told us that they have recommended we be contacted within the week (surprise, we never were). They are obviously seeing if they can wait us out or if we will get a lawyer. Do not, do not, do not use this company. They are dishonest and will not do the right thing. Strongly recommend Don s Service Center on Wabash, who diagnosed the damage, and Autopotenza in Indianapolis, who basically had to rebuild our car. Both of them do great work, communicated well, and did their best to work with Firestone in getting them the info they requested, though to no avail.

I like their adherence to scheduled times. Their lifetime tire alignment has already paid for itself after my second visit. I couldn't be happier!

My girlfriend got an oil change done there today. I walked in and asked if they charged for a tire rotation which he responded yes we do with an attitude and then said are we going to have an issue. I said well Midas does it for free, and he said well we aren t Midas and I said clearly. Firestone does a check of everything including brakes which means they have to take the tires off anyways so rotating the tires should not be a charge considering they have to take the tires off anyways and moving tires 3 feet is not hard. They also charged her 60$ for oil, you can get the type of oil she needed for 30$ literally anywhere. I told her we are never coming back here, after the rude customer service and the horrible prices .

Went with firestine for the name, expecting to get what they tell you! Second, from the best tire, as I was corrected by the manager when I said I bought the best tires for my particular car, which was what I got when I done a google search. Bought road Hazzard all the bell and whistles when you buy them, but when you bring it for scheduled balance and rotation, they just rotated them, and unless you ask for the balance! So when I had vibrations around 60, which felt like tire out of balance, but I had just had them balanced and rotated as what they told me I would get every 5000 miles. When it was due for oil and tire rotation, I scheduled an appt and told them I had a leak in the tires I bought that I had the road hazard. They wanted me to leave it all day on a sat, my only ride. I was willing to figure it out. I figured they would reconsider and get me taken care of. No, when I explained that I've had vibration since last rotation, he said he wouldn't have time to look at it. But he would take more money to do the oil change rather than take care of warranty work, I guess? That's why I paid nearly 1,200 for my tires, no worries for 80,000 miles. So I said no, I will not spend more money unless you look at the tires, I had a leak in one and shimmy! I'll schedule another time, and left. I called next week and dropped off the following Monday at 7am. Nail in tire and didn't have another one there! Why wouldn't they have knowing they may need it for warranty. Instead, I get a call while working, telling me they can't get tire till tomorrow. I was there when they were opening. They could have gotten it in that day. I know if they would have jumped on it. Then they tell me 2 tires were out of balance as well. I expressed my frustration with being promised such superior service was informed when you bring your car in for balance and rotation you have to tell them you want the balance, they skip that to save time, if customer doesn't ask. They then suggested putting my spare on so they could have tire ready for tomorrow. I said just put the old one on it was a slow leak. They said we'll we could have you in and out if I would let them, so I just said ok. Not knowing the tire was only good for 60 miles and I had to drive 70 miles that day. So now I don't have a spare anymore either, is what I told the manager, and he had nothing to say. Very disappointed and most expensive oil change, which a bunch of recommended service that they never went over with me, which was checked that I decline. One of which is serious, wore out brakes! Whatever happened to a name you can trust. 2012 Chevy Impala, seem to still have a shimmy!

DO NOT GO HERE! Fuel Pump died on my 06 Ram on a Saturday morning. Called Firestone and was told they could look at by the end of the day. Nobody touched the vehicle until Monday afternoon, and they reported that it needed a new fuel tank, fuel lines, and a fuel pump. After more silence they told me they could not fix it but I owed 300 dollars for an inspection fee When taken to a reputable mechanic the fuel pump was changed and I got my vehicle back the next day. STAY AWAY FROM TERRE HAUTE FIRESTONE

Save time and cash, go anywhere else. This location lacks professional integrity. Booked twice, once via store locator the second online with customer service, both confirmed via email, walked in and suddenly wasn't scheduled for service both times. Tech descrepencies were the reason I was given but it didn't hold true when I climbed the ladder for scheduling resolutions. No harm no foul, regardless they lost over $3k in my patronage alone, for 2 appointments, due to internal failure.Compared to their competitors, even locally, service prices are a few hundred higher for preventative maintenance. Even the products offered aren't top shelf. If it's a franchise branch I'd be concerned, moreso if it's a privately owned business and I was the owner. Hopefully it straightens out but here's your sign as a customer.

We have taken our fleet vehicles here for several years, and after having way too many issuesIncluding leaking oil filters due to it not being tightened, to rude employees. One of the vehicles was recently in for a brake inspection less than 5k miles ago and we were told everything was fine. The other shop found the brakes to be wore out and the rotors cracking. Seemingly almost every time either vehicle is taken in for an oil change they always need at least 2 tires which gets charged to our fleet card. We decided to take it to the Chevy dealer on the south side for all of our service needs. Avoid this place if possible.

I had never been to this place and here lately I have only had Sundays off to spare so I scheduled an appointment on a Sunday to have a wheel alignment done. My appointment was at 11 and I did get there a little early. There was already 3 people there ahead of me and it did make me a little worried but I was only there for a little over an hour. Not only were they quick on the service they provided me with specific details and recommended a few things which was great. They were very friendly and even filled up my fluids and aired up my spare tired without even asking. I will definitely be going here more often. Plus what they charged was actually cheaper than what it had online.

This pricing is criminal. I just want was charged $350 for an AC refill and a brake inspection. Nothing was done on the brakes..just inspected. Insane. And if I d gotten the oil change it would have been another $110 .Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

I tried to schedule an appointment for brake service for July 2nd (Saturday), at 8 am, via the website, which showed the day completely open, with every time slot available. I got the confirmation email and thought, "Awesome... I can get my truck fixed before I go to work and I don't have to worry about this any more." When I showed up at 8 am, she had no appointment for me, so I thought "Wait .. I have a confirmation email that will straighten this out." When I pulled up the confirmation email, it said, "... YOUR APPOINTMENT IS CONFIRMED!" DATE & TIME JULY 6, 8:00 AM. Okay, so this is partly on me for NOT reading the email close enough, BUT given that the schedule they showed me online had every appointment slot available, I had NO reason to believe they would CHANGE THE DAY OF MY REQUESTED APPOINTMENT. The lady behind the counter even told me, "The online system and our call center have NO CLUE what we have going on here. We've complained about it many times and it's still not fixed."BOTTOM LINE:1) Don't waste your time scheduling via the web site.2) Call to make an appointment. Make sure you're talking to someone at the actual location and NOT talking to someone at the call center. As for me, I found another place to do my brake service that could get me in sooner.Good luck with whatever repairs you're trying to get and hopefully this location will get things sorted out eventually.

I went back to this store for a tire rotation and balance check. Good service though really don't have any capacity for walk in work. Hours of operation are such that if you work until later in the day, you have few choices to schedule up and wait... you would be forced to leave the vehicle the night before and pickup after work. While this goes to show they are popular, it also means that new customers with urgent work/ service needs are going to be hard pressed to get things taken care of here.Update - had a tier get punctured and it was late in the afternoon. I got my spare out and installed on my van and was able to make my way over to their store 1 hour prior to closing. They went above and beyond in accepting the challenge of inspecting the flat and patching it prior to official close. Awesome customer service!

Vehicle was not done when it was supposed to be done. I had made an appointment, dropped it off before work, after work came to pickup and they had not even started on it. Went to pick up next day and still had to wait.

Firestone is definitely a good place to take your car to.I went just to have my tires balanced because I thought that was why my car was bouncing, but it turns out I actually had a busted belt in one of my tires. So they got me a new tire, rotated and balanced the others, then checked all the codes on my car, cleared them, gave me an idea of what I needed to replace on my car still, gave me an estimate for an alignment and a full diagnostic test. And the price wasn't bad either.I'm very satisfied with the service that I received there today.Even though I showed up 15 minutes before they closed, they were still very good to me and took care of what needed to be taken care of.

Had an absolute terrible experience with the terre haute Indiana store today June 26, 2022. I called to Schedule a tire repair and was told the only open appointment was today at 3:30 PM. when we arrived they then told us they had nothing in their system for our appointment. I spoke with the manager and he was extremely rude and unprofessional and told me there was nothing he could do even though he recalls me calling him several hours ago and scheduling the appointment. This place is terrible customer service and does absolutely nothing to assist the community.

Took my car there for an alignment and tire balance. The car drives worse than when I took it in. You can clearly see that a couple of the wheels are crooked. I've had two mechanics look at it since then and they both told me it's a bad alignment. The car I had before this one; I took it there twice and same problem. I highly DO not recommend them!!!Service: Wheel alignment

We had a tire blowout on our travel trailer while on a road trip and wanted to get a replacement for our spare tire. Not only were the folks at Firestone open on a Sunday, but they got us back on the road with confidence in under an hour, saving the vacation we had spent months planning. I'm forever grateful for the speed and quality of the service here.

I stopped by store for a battery. Had to make appointment so had to come back two days later. Forty miles.Told it would be forty to fifty minutes for battery installation. Took nine minutes. Was quoted $176 on previous oil change. Charged me $197. Said it was taxes.Left off original equipment battery insulation cover, i had to request it's reinstallation.

Used them years ago for my business fleet, but after a few problems, I stopped. Decided to give them another try, so I made an appointment for a simple tire balance and rotation. Was given an appointment for 2 days later at 2pm. I arrived at 2pm for my scheduled appointment, and imagine that? Employee showed no appointment scheduled for me, and then proceeded to basically tell me to get lost. I was told they had no time, and we re way too busy for me. Okay, so now I have no time to bring you my business of 10 fleet vehicles that I m sure would have really helped your business. There are many other shops in town that will be glad to take my money.
