These folks know their stuff and very helpful! My wife and I moved to Indiana from Iowa and this office and their entire staff made the transition so very smooth and easy. I actually look forward to every visit because everyone there is so personable!!

I always feel rushed. The person wasn't rude just very curt and again I felt rushed . Maybe he was having a bad day. Friendly would be nice.

If 0 was an option...EVERYONE in this location has a pompous attitude as if the customer is supposed to be well versed in how registering a vehicle works. I simply come in with paperwork given and even got snickered at when I tried to register two vehicles with two different bank accounts (business and personal), and was told in a sarcastic tone you ll have to get another number . Worst customer service EVER. Each time we come, I tell my wife, if they worked for us, they d be fired on the spot. The only time I have ever seen a smile was when the person who appears to be the manager stalled the line while chatting with a customer about a home poker game. By the looks of the other reviews, obviously they don t care about customer service at all here.UPDATE 10.02.2019MUCH better experience today vs our first encounter. Everyone friendly and helpful. Changed from 1-star to 5-star.

I'm wondering if all these other reviews went to the same place as me? The ladies are so rude and unhelpful. The man was very helpful and went out of his way to help me and did not act like he was better than me like the ladies did.

Best experience here by far. I called the 800 number in advance to make sure I had all the papers I needed. With the Covid restrictions we had to have an appointment, so there was no wait. Smooth transaction.

This was the absolute best experience I've had at any BMV ever!! I visited the Tell City BMV two days in a row, after visiting the eastside Evansville branch before that, because I needed to renew my expired DL. Third times a charm because I finally passed my written knowledge exam!!!

When you wait then you get your turn an the lady say I bet you don't have the right paperwork an our credit card machine is down an you will have to come back

When God decided to create the worst BMV, he undoubtedly chose Tell City s facility. After having issues on multiple separate visits to this BMV, I continue to question my own sanity. Each time I expect better service, but it is the same pitiful result time after time. Do yourself a favor and kindly go to Dale, English, or ANY OTHER BMV for your titling and registration needs. I can assure you they are far more pleasant than Tell City s dumpster fire of a BMV!

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Go to Dale. It's worth the drive. Its like the Tell City location gets joy out of making you feel ignorant, and the only time I received a smile was when I was told about a document I had forgot to bring. This was rich considering, I had called MINUTES BEFORE GOING to write down every document needed. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I believe they leave out documents when you call so you are forced to make multiple trips. I have never accomplished what I intended to on the first trip with them. Absolutely Abhorent Customer Service.

Look, no one enjoys time spent at a DMV, BMV, whatever...and the accepted norm of service perpetuated there is abysmal (any branch, as general reference)...however, since my move to IN, I've had to visit 2 different branches 5 times....yes, 5...to square my vehicle situation to legal status...tests and paperwork and big money, oh my!But, during my visit this past Saturday to the Tell City branch I was witness to multiple personnel involved in my needs, which were dealt with professionally and quickly...if you're savvy enough to research and prepare for the visit, you'll be done quickly...if not, remember any issue you walk out of there w is really a 1st world problem and more than likely part of it is your lack of preparation...suck it up, be an adult, don't get emotional over little things, and proceed w your life...

the people there are extremely combative and utilize poor customer service.(its mostly the women))furthermore, the sharing of information is discombobulated. meaning, what you might be told by one person will be different from the other.that place is ridiculous

Was literally here yesterday and given this notice of their hours. I needed to come back the next day to retake my exam. I even told her "I'll see you tomorrow" (Saturday). I show up at 3pm and they are closed. Thanks for the false information and wasted trip.

Never met a more rude and unprofessional group of employees in my life. They do the bare minimum amount of work to skirt by and treat the customer's like garbage while they do it.

Dont have a phone number to call locally.Main office has 40 minutes waiting..If it is so important to have a license, seems important to communicate. Main office has wrong days and hours of service....maybe they couldn't reach them to tell them.

Easiest BMV experience ever. Right in and right out and the staff was awesome, prompt and not afraid to laugh! Completely different vibe from the typical robotic BMV personnel

The customer service was horrible. It is not posted anywhere in their building or on their website about having to be there an hour before closing to take your permit test. We got there 5 minutes after 11:30 and they denied us. Customer service was horrible and the people behind the counter were just sitting there doing nothing an hour before they re actually supposed to close.

Absolute worst BMV I've ever been to. I've lived all over this country and this is the most uncooperative office I've ever been to.
