I can t say enough good things about this dealership!! We bought a Chrysler Pacifica from them and they made the process from start to finish so easy and smooth. Joni was awesome to work with and the rest of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend buying from Community Chevrolet of Spencer!!

I recently just had 1900.00 worth of work done. I felt that they were less than professional and took zero pride in their work. My oil light wasn t reset and no sticker. Did it get done? Attitudes changed when I decided to not get 2,000$ worth of work done that they suggested to do but I didn t want/need done. Didn t even run it through the car wash after spending that much on having work done. Won t be back. Sad to not be able to support the local dealership.

I can not say enough about the wonderful customer service provided by Community Chevrolet's service manager, Jessica Dillon. Her professionalism is top notch!Some time ago, I used the service dept (under different management at the time) to have my daughters Chevy Cruze warrantied...I repeatedly had to bring it back. The issue was not being fixed and I was being charged a deductible for what was covered under warranty! I was ready to "spit fire" at the previous service guy! (I was ready to start seeking legal advice.) I went back in to give the situation one last blast, but he was gone and Jessica was there, ready to handle my irate complaints with absolute professionalism and courtesy. She assured me that she would get it fixed, she politely doused my fire, and she delivered. Car fixed, problem solved.I now bring all of my vehicles to Community Chevrolet for service under her watch. I know that I can trust her to be a woman of integrity who will not take advantage of me or mine.

The Sales Consultant I worked with was Martin Fogleman II; and, I cannot express enough how easy and professional my experience was with him. He was attentive and courteous. He payed close attention to what my budget was, and my wishes on a vehicle: no high pressure sales here. Love the car I bought. I would highly recommend this dealership. As a side note, the gentleman who helped me finance my vehicle was very personable and the owner of this dealership went above and beyond to make sure I was able to have the car I wanted. Two thumbs up, finally a dealership that makes me feel great when I drive away in my newly bought car.

I bought a 2019 f-150 from Kevin! Great guy took good care of me and processed everything quickly and easily! I did think I was getting a 500$ dollar discount on the truck, however that may have gotten lost in translation as I was rushing to get to work during the paper signing process. I m sure this was not Kevin s intention. Over all I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new vehicle!!

Poor communication between the service and sales departments. After issues with the purchase of a new 2021 blazer remote start multiple trips we re made to resolve this. With little help from the service department, the sales team did step up and do the legwork with GM to resolve the issue. Very appreciative that the sales team were able to work through the issues.

We recently had service done on my daughters car - Jessica was amazing. It was a long process but she kept us informed with updates and made the process as easy and convenient as possible! Will definitely be working with Jessica in the future for any of our car repairs!

I bought a car from some place and it broke down had to take it to spencer community Chevrolet to have it fixed Jessica was very amazing and fast acting they came same day and towed my car as well as fixed it same day and even brought it back to me. They are an amazing car dealership with fast prompt service who made life a lot easier for me during this virus time. Thank you Jessica for your help and getting me in and out . Also thank you to the mechanics who fixed my car and got it up in running in a fast timely manner.

Martin Fogleman was very helpful on getting my stepson a new car. My family have bought many cars from this dealership and we go back for a reason. All of the staff are great. As far as dealing with a dealership goes, we were in and out pretty quick. Great experience all around and would highly recommend.

When its time for an oil change on either my 09 Ford Focus or my 04 Suzuki Aero I always take them to Community Chevy. The staff is great to work with, they get the job done in a timely manner, and they do an inspection to make sure there are not other concerns that should be brought to my attention. Thanks for a great experience earlier this week.

This is the second time we have bought a vehicle from Community Chevy in Spencer. We have always had great service from all that work there. Martin Fogleman was a polite and understanding salesman, who helped us to get our new truck. I highly reccomend stopping by and meeting them. They have a great selection to choose from.

Service was great. I had previously had a problem, not with Community Chevrolet, but with GM who couldn't get a tool to fix a part that was covered because my car was 2 years old and only had 23000 miles. The tool was going to take over a month to get to Community Chevrolet. I called GM and they got onto Community who couldn't help the problem. The service department called other dealerships to borrow the tool and no one had it. This problem was fixed when the tool got there. I have had to get work done three times plus oil changes and I am very satisfied with the service that I have received. Great Job.

Martin Fogleman is a great representative of Chevrolet! He and Mike Kelly listened to my exact needs and even helped track down the exact color and model I wanted! This is the first time ever that the new car buying process was made EASY! Fantastic small town dealership that treats you like a real person and not just another $$ in their pocket.

I traded in my car for a low mile 2017 Malibu! Martin was an excellent sales person and took all of my needs into consideration to find me the right car! The finance department was able to get me an excellent rate! I would definitely recommend Community Chevrolet of Spencer if your are looking for a vehicle!

I would give them 10 stars if it was an option. I cannot say enough good about this dealership, especially Jessica in the service department. My son, his wife, and four children (ages 2,3,4,5) had the transmission give them problems about two hours into their vacation while pulling their camper. They unhooked the camper and Jessica quickly got the truck in so they could determine the problem. My son and his wife have four small children, ages 2,3,4,5, and they are active kids. Jessica and all the staff made my little grandchildren feel very welcome. They popped them some popcorn, provided snacks, and let them be kids! The mechanics assured my son he'd be okay to drive to the campground and set up the camper then return in the afternoon for repairs. He did, but upon further inspection of the engine, a new transmission was necessary.They assisted my son in getting a rental car to return to the campground and later a rental truck to get him and the family home long enough to borrow his dad's truck to continue their trip. EVERYONE at the dealership, from Jessica, to the sales people to the mechanics welcomed my grandkids and their parents in at a stressful time for my son.When vacation was over my husband and I drove the 3+ hours to Community Chevrolet of Spencer to meet our son, get our truck back from him and pick his up. They worked with him on getting the best transmission at the best price. They fixed some recalls, fixed a door handle that had been broken for awhile, and again, were so nice to us and could tell my little grandkids really felt at home. If I lived in Spencer, IN, Owen County or one of the surrounding counties, I would do all my auto/truck business with Community Chevrolet and would FOR SUREuse their service department for all my repairs. THANK YOU JESSICA, and I'm sorry I don't know all the names, but thanks, GM, SALES, MECHANICS. Thank you all.

Martin Fogleman was an exceptional salesman. I have been working with Martin for many months to locate just the right truck. He took down the list of items I wanted to see on a new truck and searched for a great distance. He located the vehicle for me on Thursday afternoon and had it delivered on Friday afternoon. He worked to get me a fair deal on my trade in as well as the new vehicle selling price. When he handed me the proposal, I bought it on the spot. I had done my research as to the proper selling price and he was able to get me some nice incentives to cut the price. Martin ensured I had all of the paperwork I needed as well as a full tank of diesel before I left town in my brand new 2018 Silverado 3500HD. I could not have asked for a more pleasurable experience in buying a vehicle. Martin is the Chevrolet salesman you want to see if you are interested in buying a new or used vehicle.

I really like this dealership! I worked with Jessica who is amazing. She is honest and upfront about car repairs. I live in Bloomington and the Bloomington Chevy dealer couldn t get me in for over a week. I called Jessica on a late Friday afternoon and she said we can see you first thing Monday morning. It was so worth the drive from Bloomington. I thought I had a steering problem but it turns out that everything was checked and my car was perfectly safe to drive. Jessica had her mechanics use their time and talent to look at my GMC Terrain and she said that there would be no charge! Two thumbs up! My fianc� and I will come here for all of our car repairs, even if we have to tow our vehicle since it is 18 miles from our house.

I inquired about a vehicle from Autotrader.com that had just been posted for sale. No pictures were available. I asked for more info, and within a few hours Doug had sent me a walk around video of the car. The next day I had over 20 pictures of the vehicle after it had been fully detailed. He stayed in constant contact with me and even drove multiple hours to deliver the car to my house! I have never had such a positive experience with buying a car. Thank you Doug and I will refer anyone looking for a car to you!!!

Horrible customer service. I feel like I was taken advantage of, and Josh was very rude to me multiple times. I was told multiple times I was going to be left stranded if I didn t do what they were pushing me to do. They pushed and pushed and pushed for me to spend more money on things that I didn t actually need. They didn t take me seriously or look up my cars warranty until I had my dad call and talk to Josh personally. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Great customer service. I came here after being completely disrespected by a dealership in Bloomington. I was pleasantly surprised to deal with professionals who didn't consistently ask when my husband was coming. Jack was very informative, courteous, and answered all my questions. The process was easy and I had my car in no time. I highly recommend this dealership.

I can't say enough good things about Community Chevrolet of Spencer. Martin Fogleman was my salesman. He listened to what I told him about my budget and what kind of payment I could afford. I was very skeptical because I had some negative equity on my previous vehicle. He promised me they would get me in the car I wanted and guess what? He/they did! Spencer Chevrolet will be my car lot from now on. Thanks again Martin and the whole team! YOU ARE THE BEST!

A little late, but on May 1st I brought in my 2001 Impala LS to have my new BCM programmed.The vehicle was dropped with the service department around 11:45, and I was informed shortly after 2pm that it was ready to go; Very prompt.Upon paying for my service I was directed to my vehicle and once inside I began my drive home when I noticed that my RDS stereo displayed locked still. I call up Jessica and informed her that there was an issue as the stereo was still locked out of the BCM, and within a few seconds of conversation we realized that while I told her BCM she had heard ECM and the service techs had actually reprogrammed my ECM rather that the BCM.With no haggling, excuses, put-offs, or other passing of the buck tactics, Jessica told me to bring the vehicle back so they could reprogram the BCM.They not only took care of the issue while I waited: Roughly 20 minutes, but they also did the fix for free, took the time to fix a recall issue on my Impala, and were absolutely kind, cool, and knowledgeable about the situation.While it is not often I take machines anywhere for routine service; I would fully recommend these folks for those of you who do take your machines in for service.Great service, friendly people, and adult enough to see a problem and promptly fix it in the best interest of the customer!!!!Thank you, Community Chevrolet, and the folks in the service department!!!

Was very pleased with the way my salesman Kevin was able to get me into a Jeep I was looking for. He also peeled off the decals on the hood so I could personalize it myself. Overall a great experience! Thanks

Drove 1.5 one way after working with Kevin Willis for over a week on a used 03 Ram that was owned by a friend of the dealership, chevy of spencer. Was lied to and told that there was no body rust on a walk around video that Keven sent me via phone. I got to the dealership with a trailer that I rented and took a half day off of work and Walking up to the truck from the rear I immediately looked under the passenger side rear fender flare which had rust bubbles. I then proceed to the pass door and the rocker panels are gone full of rust. I continue around the front of the vehicle and notice one windshield wiper is gone and a shiny bolt is it its place. Walking to the driver door that rocker panel is full of rust and so is driver rear bed side covered by fender flare. Kevin told me that This was an SLT model which was a lie after I ran the VIN number came back an ST. Mind you I was going to pay Top dollar for this 17 year old truck. Very upset and out couple hundred dollars. When I told Kevin that I Wished he had been honest and upfront with me He said " Well for a 17 year old truck you should have expected some rust". Very frustrating experience and will never been doing business with Chevrolet of spencer Again! I would give a negative star rating if possible.

Martin Fogleman, sales, was very professional and personable. He was helpful in all phases of the purchase process. Martin showed concern for our needs and was able to accommodate. In addition, Nick Palmiotio, business manager, was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we had. We would gladly refer others to Community Chevrolet of Spencer and will definitely consider for future purchases and service.

I had been working with Doug Horton for months on getting the perfect Dodge Durango! Then COVID-19 happen and I put my car search on hold but Doug kept in touch and make sure to let me know when they got a 19 Durango in and he through it would be the perfect fit for me and he was right! Kevin Tylisz was very helpful in getting the car I wanted! He has gone above and beyond what you would expect from your local car salesman, especially with a car that was bought "as is"! I would recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a car! Definitely get a 2nd opinion with anything going thru their mechanic though!
