My experience was good at Gurley Leep South Side dealership. I had brought my car in for some repairs and they kept me up to date on everything that needed to be done. They also kept me updated on any holdups due to waiting for parts which was not in their control. They were very friendly as well. They dealt with my warranty company and confirmed what was covered and what wasn't. My $1,700 bill only ended up being $416 out of pocket. My car is as good as new!!

We wouldn't recommend getting any service done on your vehicle at Gurley Leep Ford and here's why.....We ended up paying over $3000 at Gurley Leep's service department for work on my wife's car (a 2012 Ford Taurus) that could have mostly been avoided, they also couldn't fix the ECU/PCM issues with it and I ended up just taking it back and fixing myself (I'm only a little bit mechanically inclined, mostly just a Google user with some tools at home) for an additional $600 and some of my free time. Gurley Leep left me stranded on the highway during rush-hour traffic because they didn't actually drive the car under normal conditions and initially didnt want to pay for the cost to tow it back to them. They kept me waiting for unavailable parts that ultimately didn't help, their mechanic tried to give us some lame excuse over the phone and told me I was lying about it's milage (which they seem to have mis-reported as in kilo-meters on Carfax), nickle-and-dimed us for unnecessary expenses (getting extra keys cut and programmed, and unnecessary replacement parts (a.k.a. "swapnostics") and several ultimately unsuccessful diagnostics). They left the windshield cowl panel loose and missing some of the fasteners. They gave our car back to us with several fouled spark plugs (which they charged me for) and a dead battery, I had to jump it on their lot just to put it on a car trailer, all while they kept a half-hearted smile on their faces and wished me "Good luck with your Gremlins" -Ryan Steinke (Service Department Advisor).

Mike was amazing working with me to repair our vehicle for our journey home to Florida. The part was on backorder..so we had to use an aftermarket part. It was delivered as promised! 1100 miles later.. .we are safe at home. Thanks a million for stepping up to the challenge and getting it done!

Was told I needed break pads and rotors front and back because I had a back caliper frozen and the front rotors were pitted and rusted, along with a list of other things from Gurly Leep Ford. The price was outrageous, after I paid 167.99 for a break check and another 167.99 for an mechanical check. So I took my lincoln mkx to a muffler and break shop, they told me that my breaks were fine, the pads had over 50% left and that if I wanted to, I could get the front done because there was some rust on the rotors, causing noises I heard off and on, but it wasn't ecessary. They asked why I thought I needed front and back rotors and pads! I ended up paying $280 at a different shop instead of over $1,000 through Gurley Leep Ford for breaks. Take your vehicle elsewhere, Gurley Leep Ford lies about services needing done to your vehicle and charges a pretty penny for nothing!

New car only had a few months within warranty miles charged me $150 to keep my car all day and do nothing! Pleaded with them to lower it as if they d take a pay cut to do that! Want $120 for a lug nut!!! Horrible place I hope they all get what they deserve called multiple places and got quoted lower prices all around! This is how they treat new customers who s 2018 needs a belt break pads and a lug nut:$960! never buying a car from here again!

Came in to look at an Explorer that I saw on CarGurus. I wasn't initially looking to purchase a vehicle but after I drove the Explorer I had to give it a shot. Dave Spencer took some info from me and within 10-15 mins I had just about the most perfect deal I could've asked for. A payment that was as close to my old payment as I could ask and a vehicle that has had my attention for quite some time now. Of course I had to take the Explorer over to the boss (my wife, lol) and get the ok. When she gave me the ok, I explained the process to her she told me to see if there's something she would like on their lot. Much appreciation goes to Dave and all of the folks at Gurley Leep Ford. Will definitely be doing business with them again.

Thank you guys so much for your customer service. Whitney definitely took great care of us and she always keeps the customer informed and gives great communication throughout the entire process! If it will take longer than expected she will let uk right away and ahead of time as well. She's a phenomenal person
