Nothing but great stuff to say about Fred & Jim's. The place is clean, easy to find, close parking, a breeze to meet with the folks and set an appointment. And of course a locally owned business which I really like to use. Reasonable cost, fast efficient service, and smooth communication. I'll definitely come back for more service and highly recommend!

My husband and I decided to go on a last minute trip to see our granddaughter and before we left home we had our vehicle serviced. We were told that our breaks were pretty thin, but we had already made the plans, so we went knowing we d have to get the work done when we got there. We mentioned this to our son and daughter-in-law and she made a call to a friend to see who they recommended. Fred & Jim s were the one they mentioned, so we called. By a stroke of luck, there were two cancellations that very morning, so we could get in right away. Warren was so kind and talkative while we waited. To our surprise we were in and out in 45 minutes! And the cost was a lot less than what we were expecting. I would certainly recommend this little company to anyone local or from out of town, like us. We told Warren that we have 2 other vehicles back home in South Dakota that will need breaks sooner than later and we are tempted to bring them to him when we go back to visit our kiddos! Bottom line: TOP NOTCH SERVICE!!

Absolute great mechanics, always fair with pricing, take it here to get the job done correctly the first time. Have been a customer for 20 plus year and have had lots of work done here and have always been treated fairly, would highly recommend.

We had a leak in radiator in our 2014 jeep. I called, they got us in within a couple days. They looked at it right away, called with what the issue was and gave us a price. Told them to go ahead and repair. With in a few hours they had it repaired. Very reasonably priced and great repairs. I will definitely be using them for all my car repairs. Felt they were very honest and reasonably priced. Highly recommend them!!

Years ago they did some bad machine work on my motorcycle heads. Would never use them again.

Very good business got me in as soon as the next day. Pretty cheap they did make one mistake during my car inspection but the admitted the mistake. Very great experience!I had many issue with my 2014 chevy cruze and were completely honest while also working on what needs to be fixed. They were both extremely experienced, flexible with my payments and were very informative when there was an unexpected problem.Car has been running just fine ever since. Will definitely be my top choice when I need any help with any of my vehicles!

My Lincoln: They replaced fuel pump. Noisy. Complained. No deal. Finally went out. Under warranty, but had to repay the labor. Went out again. Went to Kyle's. No prob.My Mercury: They replaced fuel pump. Quit on the road. Under warranty, but again I was on for repaying labor. Went to Kyle's again. Turns out the wires were crushed by 'previous mechanic'.Update: My wife sent the repair bills to Fred & Jim. They reimbursed my repairs from Kyle's, and apologized for not clarifying my options on my first call. I did feel stonewalled, but this response changes my thinking. F&J has been around a long time, and I can't imaging them doing so unless thoroughly competent. Everyone makes mistakes, it takes class to admit and amend them.

Honest, fair, courteous, dependable and trustworthy. For the jobs that I cannot perform myself, I trust these guys. Have used them multiple times with a consistent, courteous, pleasant experience.

They don't do the work they say they do. Overpriced. I had steering parts installed. They said they couldn't get it aligned. But i still had to pay for that part even though it wasn't performed

Took my car here had 2000 worth of work done now 2 months later i am having the same issues i took it in for...also wanted to charge me 300 dollars more than the dealership to fix my ball joints

Just an honest independent shop. Don't know if they are the cheapest option out there but they stick to their word and do good work.
