Absolutely phenomenal service! I was in a rush to get my car repaired since I had to leave town and both the service advisor, Will, and the service tech, Thomas, went out of their way to make it possible for me to stay on schedule. All while keeping me entertained the entire time. The staff cares about both the car AND the customer. Best experience I have had yet at any Mazda service center. If I could put 10 starts I would. BTW If you have the pleasure to talk to Will ask him about his Miata's, he'll talk you ear off.

Had a great experience purchasing a vehicle with Shawn. Not only was he personable, he was very straight-forward, and extraordinarily helpful. He spent ample time walking me through all of the features on the vehicle we were purchasing and truly made me feel as if I made a friend in the process--someone I could reach out to if I had a question about a feature or the vehicle in the future.The financing experience with Dean was also very clear and no-pressure. There was no extra push for additional warranties other than a simple offer for them. We never felt like we were getting swindled or someone was pulling a "fast one" on us.Both Dean and Shawn took their time and paid attention to what we wanted. Would definitely the purchasing experience at Basney!

Best car buying experience I have had yet (I am a young woman). I was very nervous going into the process due to multiple past experiences. Dean Young provided the most respectful, fair, and trustworthy finance process I have gone through. Shawn Rembold was the best at finding the car I want and ensuring I was 100% set before driving off. 10/10 would recommend buying a car from these professionals!

Basney Mazda and the entire staff have been amazing. The manager, salespeople, and finance manager were all very honest, helpful, and they cared about "me" -- from finding me the right vehicle to getting a good interest rate. They made sure I knew how to use each feature on my newly purchased Mazda CX-5 before I left the lot. In addition, this was a purchase to replace my totaled car. I was in a serious accident with my prior car. The manager knew I needed a very "safe" vehicle and that's what he sold me. Honestly, I would recommend that my friends and family shop at Basney Mazda because the experience was more like being with trusted family and friends than I could ever imagine would happen at most dealerships.

Came in April after moving to the country from being overseas. Shawn and Dean were willing to see what they could do for me despite no longer being on the credit radar from being away for so long. It didn't work out in April, but I came back in Dec for a CX-90. They didn't have the trim I wanted but looked to find one in the area and have it delivered through them. Had the model I wanted a few days later!Great customer service from Shawn, and definitely would be returning to Basney in the future

We have always had good experience here till our visit this week with the Service dept. prior to making the appointment online we had called several times and could not get through to anybody in the service department to ask some questions so we knew what to schedule my car for since it was getting close to a recommended mileage changes. When we got there, the gentleman who is working back, there is not the same gentleman in the past. I expressed frustrations with not being able to get a hold of anybody in the service department for days. I strictly told him no car wash, and I also crossed it out on the paper that I signed saying car wash. I didn't want a car wash as my car ceramic coated. When we picked up car paperwork showed car wash and car had been washed, They didn t put a new sticker up in the window showing when the oil need to be changed again, I went back inside for the new sticker and asked him how the car got washed after I had said I did not want it. The response I got was I m not really supposed to cross that off the service order to get done. He gave me a new sticker And didn t even offer to go put it on. The lack of care is upsetting. This makes me wanna look for a different Mazda dealer now to take my car to that will pay more attention to the details

One of the most laid back purchasing experiences I've ever had. I put in an inquiry last year and met with Jordy Garcia who was nothing but professional but not pushy. He was curious about my needs but he wasn't trying to force me into anything.Fast forward to this year, I get curious again, put in an inquiry, and start working with Jordy again. I describe my wants and my needs and he helped guide me into a vehicle I truly loved and wanted. When I decided to purchase it, he broke down payments, what the process will be like, and everything else as simple as it could get.Afterwards, I met with Dean Young who was much the same way. Dean asked me what I'd be using the car for, how much I drive, etc. And it's because he didn't want me getting any unnecessary warranties or plans that I likely wouldn't utilize. He also helped find the best rate he could for me and described how he did so. Dean was professional but laid back. No salesman shenanigans that often leave me feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and annoyed.I couldn't have been happier with the experience and will likely be shopping here again at some point.

Everyone is super friendly and helpful here but Shawn Rembold was the salesman that picked up the phone when I called and I'm so glad he did. It took me awhile to commit because I wanted to wait a few more years to buy a car but my Kia had manufacturing issues and it was time. I met with a lot of dealerships over the summer but I came back to this dealership because I appreciated the low pressure sales people here and thoroughness in explaining everything. It's a nice change and I will forever recommend this dealership.

Literally my only regret is not buying years ago. Every step of the process was efficient and effortless. Entire deal went down as verbally agreed, and at the end of the day I have one awesome ride in my garage.

The staff at Basney Mazda is second to none. Shawn Rembold was the most energetic, knowledgeable and respectful salesman I've ever worked with. As a first time buyer there are a lot of questions and needs and Shawn was patient, responsive and thorough. I never felt pressured or tricked during the process. He made this car purchase painless and enjoyable, he has a customer for life.Their finance manager Dean Young was also very thorough as he walked me through the purchase process and got me all set up with my paperwork. Truly unmatched service.

We were very impressed with the overall experience at Basney Mazda. Tim Baranski (Sales Consultant/Used Car Mgr) did an excellent job of explaining all the features of the car. After our test drive there was no high pressure sales pitch or tactics. We went back 5 days later for a second test drive and decided we wanted the car and there was no back and forth haggling etc. Tim found us the exact model we wanted in less than 48 hours! Dean Young (Finance Manager) did a great job of helping us with all the paperwork and didn't push us to add on anything we didn't want - again, no pressure. They made car buying easy with absolutely no hassle. We highly recommend you visit Basney Mazda if you are looking for a stress-free car buying experience. To top it off, It was raining on pick up day so they brought our car in to the showroom, wiped it dry and put a big red bow on it !

Update: Was so impressed the first time, bought another brand new car a couple weeks later. Picked up the car on a rainy dark day. When the weather cleared, the car looked like a used car. Filthy inside and out, scratched everywhere outside and many interior scratches. They did try to help, but every time I came back, something was missed or something new. 3rd time was not a charm.I ve been dismissed and the rest of the issues are mine to pay for if I want it to look like a brand new car. When you or if you buy a car here, bring flashlights and friends and go over the entire car you may not like what you see.Second Update: I changed my rating to a 3. They have helped us and have been patient with us. Provided a loaner each time. My issue is not the dealership as I ve calmed down. My concern is the quality of Mazda. Too much to list here, just shop utilizing all reviews. We ll see how it goes not impressed with Mazda after all the issues.

I worked with the salesman Shawn and he was incredibly helpful, kind and attentive. When he says he is going to do something he always followed through for me. Definitely one of the best salesman I have ever worked with. This company is truly lucky to have someone like him working for them! :)

Back in 2018 I had my first experience with Basney Mazda. I came in, knew exactly what I wanted, a red Mazda CX-5. After test driving a grey one I was told that the red was too expensive for me and the salesman refused to even check his computer to see if any were available locally. We had not even discussed my finances, and I was fully prepared financially for the red one, which wasn't that big of a price difference. When I asked for a printed out offer of the grey one they were pushing me, they refused. I promptly left the dealership feeling very disrespected. I quickly contacted the O'Daniel dealership in Ft. Wayne and was able to get a red one no problem. They even made comments about transferring it to Basney, if they would have asked. They went above and beyond, even delivering the car to Elkhart after we couldn't finalize the sale initially in Ft. Wayne. I was very frustrated back then, and didn't see the point in even complaining because one of the people being disrespectful was obviously a manager and I didn't think I would accomplish anything. However, my recent experience below has proven the need to warn others.Recently, I took my CX-5 to the Basney dealership to have a manufacturer recall repaired. I hesitated because of my prior experience but they are the closest dealership. I scheduled my appointment in advance, and they confirmed with me the recalls that my car had in advance. Due to my working hours I have to drop my car off in the morning, and then come pick it up after work. The office was accommodating and got me a loaner to use for the day. I get notice in the mid morning that they don't even have the fuel pump in stock that is needed for the repair. This then meant I had to bring my car back again on a different day so they could actually do the repair, disrupting my schedule again due to their lack of inventory/knowledge of their inventory.I would not recommend Basney Mazda, but I highly recommend O'Daniel in Ft. Wayne. I will be making the drive from now on.

Worked with Tyler, Dean and Chad. Could not ask for a more inviting environment. Tyler was very knowledgeable and understood our time was valuable. Best salesman we have ever worked with. He and the finance team made every step smooth and streamlined. Could not ask for a better team to work with. Highly recommend and will do business with them again!Just bought our second Mazda. Salesman was new so that was a bit more difficult than needed but, we were certain we would buy from Basney without a doubt! Stopped in, unplanned and Dean knocked it out of the park! He squeezed us in between appointments and made the end steps easy and efficient. Dean more than confirmed that our thinking was correct Buy from Basney!

The people at Basney Mazda are part of the reason I return to Basney. Of course quality is the biggest reason. From my first purchase in the 90's to my 5th purchase, I feel things have gone well. Shawn Rembold is very enthusiastic and not pushy at all. Tom Lapara is easy to talk to and listens. Dean Young did a great job. Explained everything while not trying to push things down our throats. Very nice and easy to work with. Good crew. Not hard to recommend Basney Mazda to others.
