Bob and his team are great to work with. He is personable, reliable, and easy to work with. Every time I need an oil change or have an issue come up they are willing to help. They are priced reasonably and always explain charges on the bill, which for someone who knows nothing about cars I appreciate. Time and time again they have proved to me why they are the best repair shop in the area.

came in with an idea of what my issue was on my car. bob was able to confirm and fix the issue in no time! my car my in and out same day! and i was very pleased with the service done!he also sell jars of their family s homemade authentic italian pasta sauce. i grabbed one and it s definitely a hidden gem!! it s all home grown ingredients, safe-food certified, and absolutely delicious!

I have gone to Avenue Auto for all my auto care needs for many years now and I would never go anywhere else. Bob Pellegrino and his staff go out of their way to communicate to a level that I truly appreciate. Their repair prices are very fair and they deal honestly with me on what my options are and what their recommendations may be if there is more than one way of doing the repair.

I took my car into the Avenue Automotive Repair Shop on Mishawaka Avenue because all of a sudden, my car sounded like a stock car. They managed to get me on their schedule the very next day which made us very happy. Well, late Friday, I called to check on the status of my car and Bob told me that my car had a slight exhaust leak which Bob said that he couldn t send the car out unless everything was right. Well, it took Bob all of Monday to resolve the slight exhaust leak but he wouldn t return it to us unless it was running like it was supposed to.We appreciate his concern for perfection.It is very nice to have a local car repair business that you can trust and is reasonable. The lady that answers phone calls isn t very helpful i don t see the point in having a receptionist who can t even look up broad estimate for a replacement of something. There could be multiple ways to go I would just love to be told how much something will cost me and not just get a oh it depends answer

Super friendly staff, likeable and convent if you live in River Park but I would only recommend for basic service like brakes or fluid changes, anything major or intensive I would suggest a second opinion, twice I was quote high dollar repairs that I had another shop fix for less then half, I think more due to experience and lack of certain tools for anything major.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Paid $500 for engine diagnosis, oil change, crankshaft sensor part & replacement. They DID NOT put oil into my car after the oil change. I was only able to drive 10 minutes down the street before my engine started knocking. When I called them telling them what happened, they stated that there isn t anything they could do to fix it because they already informed me that I had an unhealthy motor. Car is completely ruined with no accountability. WORST PLACE EVER!

Owner is very brisk and does not sugar coat anything. But, when you've been in business longer than your customers have been alive, you can do that. Technicians are competent and honest. Turnaround time is not fast, but it's because they are careful in their work. You can get cheaper service elsewhere but the cost is because they're good and use quality parts. There is a fee for debit, so try to pay cash.

Excellent service, went in for air condition service, and they found issues with my vehicle I didn't know I had, Thanks for their help my vehicle will be safer to drive. After getting a second opinion of what was suggested by this operation which was over a $3,000 bill I got my vehicle fixed for less than $400. I didn't say anything about what was told to me by this company and my vehicle was fixed the same day without a word. I strongly suggest a second opinion if you go to this place. I wouldn't trust anything they say!!!

Avenue automotive is the best place in town to get your car worked on I have been going to them for I don't know how long it's been God forever Bob he's a character he's awesome he takes care of my vehicle my mom's vehicle and he's awesome his mechanics are awesome there's a lady that works there she is awesome you can never beat the prices there that is one thing I got to say you cannot beat the prices his prices are a lot better than some of these places around town and the other thing is is that you're guaranteed to drive your car home and get from a b and c without it having any more problems and sometimes you can't get that from other places and I will never take my car to nobody else but two avenue automotive and Bob we appreciate you for everything that you do for all of us and if we had a special trophy to give you we would because you deserve everything that you do to keep your customers happy and we strongly appreciate that and I will continue to spread your name out to people because I know your work is good and thank you for doing the best work ever love Wendy Shaw and Marilyn Lee

These guys are awesome!My wife's tire got a flat down the street from them and she was able to get enough air in it to bring it over to Avenue. They tried to plug the tired and didn't have any luck. Then they put the donut on it for her. When I asked if I could pay them for their time they refused.Don't see service like that anymore! I'll definitely bring my vehicle to them next time I have issues.

Last winter I brought my Mini to Avenue Automotive because one of it's warning lights was on and there isn't a Mini dealer nearby and if the light was correct it wouldn't have been safe to drive it to Chicago. They quickly diagnosed it as a problem with the sensing system, not a real problem with the car and didn't even charge me. They are super-efficient and very nice and not at all condescending. They took time to explain the problem and didn't treat me like an idiot. I also highly recommend the homemade tomato sauce! It is really excellent.

I've been coming here for years with several vehicles, and always refer this place above any other for all my friends' car maintenance needs. ALWAYS fair pricing, ALWAYS excellent service, ALWAYS honest to deal with. In terms of auto care, it simply doesn't get better than this place. You won't be disappointed.

Always happy with the service I get from Avenue. I had a low tire message on my vehicle so I stopped in they checked all my tires, aired them up and i was on my way. No charge! Thanks Avenue

Good service good prices.but one of his mechanics missed bad wheelbearing n a bad tierod.during a inspection.leaving me to have fixed.3 wks later.both easy to find up on a lift.

Cheaper than the dealer, employees who've been working on cars for years (no turnover like some), really reliable service, and a local small business. I don't know why I bothered with the sharks at the dealership. They keep our Subaru and Nissan in top shape.
