My son had a flat tire on the outskirts of Shelbyville. We couldn't get his spare out of the trunk. The fix-a-flat oozed out of multiple holes, and AAA Wrecker was 3 hours out.I called several shops in town on a Friday night for the tire we needed as I figured I could get the tire swapped out on the rim? No one had our tire except for Wal-Mart.With an hour to close, they said they THOUGHT they could squeeze me in?Seth was extremely kind and understanding when I got there. I didn't get his last name, and I tried to tip him for getting me done so quickly, but he refused the tip and actually looked a little surprised that I would even offer! But Seth REALLY HELPED us out of a tight spot, and I really appreciate the service we received.

After attempting to get an oil change last week, and they told me the wait would be at least an hour and a half, I told the service guy I d return on a different day. He suggested if I didn t want to wait to get there early. I returned this week, and followed his suggestion to get there early. I pulled my car forward to the line and waited. At least 3 service people walked past me and made eye contact with me, before ignoring me entirely. I waited about 30 minutes, before I left. This place is extremely unprofessional and has poor customer service. It d be different had someone approached me and told me they d be right with me, or that someone would be out in a second. No, 3 people saw I was there and still walked right on by.

Good service on tires but...They didn't have the TPMS valve in stock. Told me if I went and got the part and brought my car back they would install it. Came back next day with part, they couldn't do it for at least 2� hours. Went back today, another 2� hour wait (they have 4 bays only 1 open). Finally got it done after being quoted $0-$3 and was charged $10!!!

I've been very pleased with the work I've had done here! Prices are good and they actually do a bit extra,like checking random things out on the vehicle! I'll definitely continue using them!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Your employee told me that it would be an hour to an hour and half before they could get to my car. I said thats fine. After sitting for 75 minutes, no one told me what was going on & seeing my car still where I parked it. I went up to register to ask how much longer. I was told bh the cashier she does not know but theres 2 cars ahead of me and sent me outside to talk to someone. After waiting outside for 15 minutes, someone finally came to help me. The guy was super rude and said "I told you it would be a while" to which I responded NO YOU TOLD ME 1 HOUR TO 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES. He had no clue who had my service keys. Yall just lost a sale

The Shelbyville Walmart auto center is quite something to behold. Seldom can one find such a collection of incompetence and laziness. They seem practiced at taking advantage of those in need, and then blaming their borderline illegal high pressure tactics on Corporate Policy . While waiting for my vehicle to have its oil change, more on that in a moment, I had the opportunity to witness them fleece a poor stranded lady,who had a blowout and managed to limp into this den of liars and thieves, out of her hard earned cash. Stating Corporate would not let them sell her only 1 tire, she must buy 4 tires or take it elsewhere. On a Sunday with them the only place open and closing in an hour and a half. Now my case. Coming in one day for an oil change I found they no longer stock the brand/weight I use. But if I would drive 25 miles to another Walmart I could purchase it there and then get it changed. But wait, upon returning I find I must pay an additional $35.88. And then they won t use my oil because I didn t buy it at that store. After much arguing with a 20 something bleach blonde girl who is living proof one need not haves triple digit IQ to be a member of Walmart management team(in fairness she did spot an impressive array of tattoos that would be the envy of any jailhouse tattoo artist) I proposed I return the oil I bought at the other Walmart then they would have it in stock and I could buy it from them. Jailhouse tattoos agreed. Only now it s too late and they close in half an hour. Want help from 1-800 Walmart? Want in one hand and.....!!Avoid this place at all cost. Find a real mechanic and reflect fondly on when Sam was still calling the shots!!

There is a younger gentleman that save my life by helping fill my tire up with air since the knob wasnt working for me and didn t even charge me. Definitely recommend during the mornings.

Not very enthusiastic to help you out. Sometimes it feels as if they dont want to work on your car. They will say it's about a 3 to 4 hour wait. I called there bluff it was done in 40 minutes!

I got my oil change at the auto center. The young man that checked me in argued with me about the type of car I have. I know kind of type of car I have. I don't need argue with you about that. His reply was most people don't know what kind of car they have. I heard somebody rev the engine in my vehicle. Revving up my engine is unnecessary for an oil change. When the oil change was done, I exited out of the building at the exit door. My car was not there. I walked all the way around to the front where I began and found in my car. He didn't even have the decency to tell me that he parked it out front. He saw that I walked all the way around the building with both my hands full of merchandise. I will not be going back there to get an oil change, nor should you. The lack of professionalism is upsetting.Service: Oil change

Nobody answers the phone and they are never at the counter when you are there...Waited 15 mins before somebody came to the counter to help me with a battery purchase.

Incompetence and laziness at its finest.2hours 15minutes to mount and balance tires,and I made appt,then another 35min to fix a mistake on my bill.I will never go there again.

If you advertise your tire place is open till 7 than it should be open till than. I got there at 5 and was told they are closed

Would have given 5 but few months ago they refused to change my sons tires because he lost the security lug key and I snapped them off

The only place I go for an oil change. The service people give you an approximation of how long it will take and they are always on point.

Terrible service and the manager was very unprofessional! I will never go back to any Walmart period. Thats my opinion.
