About a month ago I purchased a vehicle that turned out to not be so great, and rather than telling me to get lost due to the as-is purchase agreement Bob Poynter went above and beyond to get me in a reliable vehicle and compensate for the headache caused by the other vehicle. Hopefully I ll be in this vehicle for years to come, but next time we need a vehicle, I know where we are going!

The service department took great care of us with our recent visit. No matter the department we deal with from Sales, Service, and the Body Shop we have been shown top notch service! The Service department recently kept us up to speed on what was going on with our suburban, let us know step by step what was happening and Billy Brown made sure we had another suburban to drive while ours was in the shop. Service was quick and we are back on the road in no time. We will continue to use Bob Poynter for all of our automotive needs.

Bob Poynter service department really helped me. I had an issue with brakes and they fixed it in a timely manner and did not try to upsell me. They were honest and they did an inspection and found some safety concerns that they were able to alleviate that day. I would recommend them if you recently purchased a vehicle and want to know if there's anything wrong. They were friendly and communicated with me the whole way through the process.

I'm always happy with the service we receive at Bob Pointer. Currently they have our Nissan truck and I know they're doing everything they can to get it fixed! The fellas in the service department are great. We've purchased at least four vehicles from this location in the last few years. I highly recommend Tyler in sales.

Great first experience with Bob Poynter GM Service in Seymour, IN! I had a tire issue on my Chevy Equinox on a cold, snowy Saturday morning so I called,l the arrived line and they said to bring it in before closing and they would take a look at it - within an hour of arriving, I was driving off with a repaired (patched) tire. Reasonable prices and will definitely use again in the future!

Overall my experience was ok. I had fog lights installed on my truck. Scheduled an appointment and ended up not getting started that day so it carried over. I was ok with it. The next day they were doing the same thing until I called and pushed them to get it done. They ended up finishing it the second day at close. I picked it up and it was not done correctly. Being closed I had to go home and call the next day. Scheduled an appointment the following week. I do not live locally so each trip adds up. Show up the next week to them admitting they think it was programmed wrong. However would need me to wait a 3rd week and come back again to get it done. The 3rd trip they kept it for 2 days and finally programmed it correctly. I am happy with the work and getting it corrected the way it should work. However Rating 3 stars due to having me make so many trips back and forth over 3 weeks. Poor communication and time management.

By now everyone should know how I feel about Bob Poynters. Got a very nice car from them. A Cadillac XTS 2014. But like let everyone know the service stinks. Reason I say this is because I've had a few issues as many others, and this can be checked by going to their website and looking at the reviews by the many who have had issues. I've spent quite a bit of my hard earned money at this business. And yes, I should of knew better. Many people have said I was crazy for going to Poynters. But hard headed as I am I didn't listen. Wish I had. I got new brakes for my car, next day I noticed brake dust all over the rims. I reported this to the service department, a man named Roger. He blew it off saying it's normal. Well I wasn't convinced about this. So this problem kept on and then squealing started. Took it back and they finally took the time to look at it and they came back and told me that the brake pads were faulty. They replaced them at no cost to me. My wife and I needed tires for the car so they sold us a set that were discontinued and my wife asked for the warranty but somehow it wasn't taken care of. I got a nail in my new rear tire, took back to Poynters thinking it would be taken care of but we got a surprise, no warranty. Ended up using one of the used tires I kept. Guess what they did, they put it on backward so had to go back. This is just some issues I've had. Will not be going back. Over it all. If you all have read this review, try to rethink going to Poynters GM here in Seymour. Down the road is Poynters Dodge Dealership which is a very good place, they will take care of business. Any mistakes by them they will own it, and make it right. They like having happy customers. It's what it's all about. Poynters GM need new blood. People who care.

We had a Very Good EXCELLENT experience. Bought a 2019 chev and had a engine issue 3 months later, several, Pointer/Chevrolet took care of it, no questions ask, and provided us a loaner while ours was being fixed. I was looking for a decent SUV and found a Durango R/T on your lot. kyle was excellent with me and my wife it checked all the boxes i wanted and needed. He was very patient and well mannered towards us with our neice he gave us space and time to check out the Durango and give it a drive with no time limit.we was short on time about our decision on buying but him and the sales manager held the SUV while i worked out a few issues over a week. Now I'm a very happy owner of the Durango and can't thank you all enough for what you all did for us. Thank you again

James Hare was and has been a great salesman to work with he definitely will sell you a good working car he gave me rentals to try when my car was out of commission and now I'm buying the Chevy equinox 2019 that he had me try since my car part was on back order beyond par service at Bob poynter and he doesn't pressure you into buying or getting something you can't afford!

Service rep tried to make me believe I had no warranty after 36k miles, neglected to mention the power train warranty until I called them out on it. No work was done on the scheduled day, had to bring it back another day. Only one of my 2 reported issues was addressed, the second was ignored. After this experience I don't think I would buy a car from this dealer, and certainly would not want to use their service center.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Always top notch service! I had a clogged condensation drain causing A/C water to leak out of my dash behind the glove box into my passenger side floorboard. The excellent service staff was able to get me in quick to limit any further damage. They even sent my car over to the folks in the detailing department to get my floor carpet nice and dry before I picked up my vehicle. They had my vehicle for a couple of days and loaned me a vehicle while mine was being serviced. This is why my family uses Bob Poynter's GM, exclusively. They are the very best in the game. All other fall way short. A huge shout out to Jorge and Mason in the service department and my guy, Joe Browning, in sales. You guys rock!

Nice waiting room. Timely service. Easy payment.More maintenance, great job and willing to work around a vacation.Arranged an emergency tow and found a loaner vehicle to keep me going that is how Poynter s staff kept me going. They had to call other dealerships because of the current supply issues. Thank you for a job well done.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change
