This place is a far cry from being decent.Late November we buy a car from them, Jan 16th, that car's engine caught fire. No one was talking to us or keeping us up to date about anything until the insurance denied it and then asked if we wanted to put a new engine in it for 10k or come pick it up. We had to call them to see what was going on or what was wrong for months.We had a family member become involved and was able to drop the price down a bit. But only told him and not us. We confirmed with him and John Jones that the price was THE price and we could manage it. This is the only reason why they're getting 2 stars instead of 1.When we went to come pick it up and I had the check in hand, they told us the cost and it wasn't THE price said to us. I gave them the check and paid the extra couple hundred and just went home.When we get home, the engine light came on and I am very thankful that it did because when I went to check everything, the coolant for the radiator was bone dry.We wouldn't have known it was dry if it hadn't been for that light (it coded for something else) and we would have been out another engine. I'm so disappointed in this company and thankful this is over. I don't recommend going here for any reason due to the lack of communicating, severe misinformation, and not even doing a simple task like checking the fluids.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Three cars we've had fixed by JohnJones in scottsburg in the past 5 months, all 3 of them blew engines shortly after their "repairs." Less then two weeks ago, we had got the news that yet another car needs another engine. A simple head gasket replacement turned into a WHOLE ENGINE, i was told it was because they didnt have the tools! As I am a delivery driver I had to get a replacement vehicle ASAP, I worked the next day. Now let me tell you I've purchased many many cars from many many places. This kid that helped us said straight to my face "well this car works and yours doesn't, so I would buy it to keep my job." I expressed that fact that I am a delivery driver and need a reliable car and was so uncomfortable buying a car with a check engine light already on. The salesman who claimed his name was Dillon,(but screamed at me like a dinosaur on the phone monday when I called that his name is not dillion,) anyways when he was selling the car to us, I asked for the Carfax, salemen acted as if i didnt even speak! Refused to answer why the check engine light was on. Said and I quote "There is absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle, except a little rust." We were extremely pressured into buying and Dillon here made me and my partner feel like this was our only choice. Now here I am LESS then two weeks later with no car and thanks to JohnJones NO JOB. Surprise surprise, the Crown Victoria they sold us broke down in the middle of the interstate IN LESS THEN TWO WEEKS SINCE PURCHASED, Then Refused to tow me because they were about to close and couldnt be bothered. Was told to call Monday when they reopened for a tow off the Interstate! After calling on Monday morning to see if they will repair the car, I was told a tow truck was coming. Here we are on Tuesday, NO ONE SHOWED UP. Don't trust these liars. I'm facing homeless because these people want to mess with people lives and jobs. Thanks for making sure I can't pay my rent!

The repair service department was done with my vehicle in a very quick efficient manner. Alyssa made sure that I was well taken care of. Great experience. Quality service

I called in on a Monday evening to the reapir shop 10 minutes before closing and they actually answer. Best of all in the morning at 8 am I got a call back from the service department manager with answer to the question I had. Great service!!!!! Have a great day and God bless y'all!

Gave one price when talking about the vehicle and then gave a much higher price when paperwork was brought up. Super shady and very messed up. Wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them.
