Bob is by far the most transparent mechanic I ve worked with. His knowledge of my older Benz was superior to the kids at the Local Mercedes service center. Upfront pricing and straight forward timeline on finishing the work needed. Pricing so much better than Benz service center and most importantly is that I feel he actually cares about doing right by the customer. Just take your vehicle here and you won t be disappointed!!Service: Steering & suspension repair

I m shocked to see all the positive reviews. I have a mini cooper that I need to bring in. I called 3 times and talked to Bob. Twice he said he would look into it and give me a call me back and never did. I called again right before the holidays to schedule to bring it in. He said they needed to get their holiday schedule together and he would call and let me know what day and time to drop it off. Again nothing. Once with no return phone call I can understand, but 3 times apparently it isn t worth his time. Honestly, if you didn t want to work on it or you thought it wasn t worth your time just tell me. It isn t professional to handle this the way he did. It was VERY unprofessional and I am very disappointed.Tami McKayValparaiso, Indiana

Bob and His wife Christy are awesome. Super nice and very trustworthy people. I would recommend anyone with a Mercedes or other import to go here before thinking about going to the dealer. Bob is very knowledgeable and knew what my problem was right away. They also go out of there way to be very transparent with you so as to not leave you second guessing whether or not your being cheated. It was an all around excellent experience and I will definitely not be going to anyone else from here on.Service: Electrical repair

Bob is great: friendly, personable, fun guy to talk to. My dad has been taking his cars to Import Auto for a while now and whenever I'm the one dropping one off or picking one up it's a pleasant experience. I recently got my own car and have taken it there a few times. They are quick to do what needs to be done. Reasonable prices as well. Easy to get in contact with too. Always a great experience all around.

This review is well over due. But this was by far the best auto experience that I've ever delt with. The service and price is unmatched. A owner that actually cares about the safety and well-being of his customers goes for miles. I had my 1994 Jaguar repaired at IAG this week, and was very pleased with the top notch service I received. From my initial contact with Christine through picking up the car and having Bob take the time to explain all that was done and answer my questions, the courtesy and professionalism was much appreciated. The ride is so smooth now - it s like it s brand new! IAG will definitely be my go to place from now on. I m also recommending it to my family and friends. Thank you for the best car repair service I have ever had!

I would highly recommend Import auto to anyone! I have used them mulitple times for my vehicle. They are always very thorough and professional. I have found their prices to be pretty fair as well. I referred a friend with a Jaguar, one shop quoted him $1,200 higher on a repair that was not properly diagnosed, to which import auto fixed it much cheaper. My friend was very pleased as well. Every time either of us took our cars in the car was checked all over to find any other issues. The people have an eye for detail. The guy seems to know import cars like the back of his hand. Definitely glad someone told me about this place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially a luxury car without hesitation.

Words cannot express how happy I am to have found Import Auto Group in Schererville. Christina, Rob and, of course, Bob are so incredibly kind, professional and knowledgeable. I was looking for a place to take my 1997 XK8 like new jaguar too for a minor oil leak problem. After talking to Bob I was certain this was the place.He knows his stuff and is not out to steal your money. Bob, had me in and out in a couple hours. Nice to know I have someone who knows my car that I can trust.

Love the customer service that they provide. Would suggest anyone with a benz, BMW or jaguar to skip the dealership for repairs. Bob definitely is an expert mechanic.
