Farmers insurance sent my car to this shop what a nightmare. it took 30 days to fix. When I picked up my Lexus the radio did not work & GPS screen is scratched/ damaged. I took it into the Lexus dealer the next day for an oil change. They took a look at radio & GPS and said when cleaned by Gerber they damaged both items by using wrong cleaning solutions and harsh cleaning. they also told me my wheel was never replaced just simply switched sides and polished. I meet with the shop manager 3 weeks ago so he could see the damage. He said he would discuss with regional manager and get back to me. To this day I have not heard back. What they did not count on is I am an attorney. Follow up Randy the marketing manager did not address my concerns. He said go ahead and sue us and make sure to address the lawsuit to him. I will be instead contacting the corporate headquarters The Boyd Group. I will then follow up with a large claims case with the Lexus dealer repair of $6500 + my hourly rate to represent myself witch will exceed the $10,000 small claims threshold. I had to call them to see if the parts were in for my car. The young lady said "Oh yeah, they've been in." Well when where you gonna call me? Insurance company will not give you rental car until they start working on it. Other than that, the finished product was great .

I was taken care of promptly. Front desk person was very courteous. They got me in and out in a timely manner, which was much appreciated.

This was my first dealing with Gerber collision and glass and I would say everything went pretty well. The work was satisfactory and the price was reasonable. All I had done was have a window motor replaced in my Firebird. The only thing that was irritating is how their phone calls are transferred around. I called the number for the Schererville,IN location and it transferred me to some kind of main headquarters. However, based on my first dealing with Gerber, I would go back to them.
