If you are considering purchasing a Used or Classic vehicle fromNottingham Automotive, I would strongly suggest a Pre-Purchase Inspection. I purchased a vehicle that was photographed on their Showroom and was listed as REBUILT, IN GREAT CONDITION & SAFE OPERATING CONDITION.I was able to negotiate a fair price with the selling dealer and myself.After making an online purchase, wire transfer of funds in full,and having the car transported over 1,000 miles, only to receive the vehicle and be disappointed to find out the car needs additional drivability and safety repairs consisting of :New StarterNew Brake BoosterNew Brake LinesNew Front Suspension / Tie Rods And Ball JointsReplaced Non-Working HornNew Spark Plugs And WiresNew Distributor Caps And PointsNeeded Valve Adjustments / Due To Low CompressionNew Fuel FilerNew Air FilerCarburetor AdjustmentAfter contacting Nottingham Automotive following the delivery,I was advised that they were unaware of any problems or safety issues related to my vehicle and Nottingham Automotive would not help or assist with any of the additional costs of needed repairs.After spending an additional $6850.00, I'm still waiting to find out the outcome of the valve adjustment and if the cylinder heads need to be removed and repaired or replaced?*****MAKE SURE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING A VEHICLE FROM NOTTINGHAM AUTOMOTIVE THAT YOU INSPECT THE VEHICLE YOURSELF OR PAY A 3RD PARTY FOR A PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION.********UPDATE***03/28/2022All valves had to be reseated and hone and still the engine isn't running correctly. The work that was done to this "REBUILD" was some of the worse working my mechanic has ever seen!!!! I have contacted this dealership and they don't want to help at all it is BAD BUSINESS!!!!

I gave a single star because there is no lower option.2004 Lincoln, purchased at full price. Air never worked correctly, they had it in their shop 9 times over the year or so I had it and it was never fixed. They couldn't or wouldn't fix the problem. BMV records show they owned the car a while and it was driven several thousand miles, there is no way they weren't aware of the problem.I threw in the towel and they would only buy it back for a little more than half of what I paid for it. I wouldn't sell it privately, because it was defective I wouldn't pass the problem on. Sure they offered to fix it again (10th times a charm?), but really how many times is really reasonable? I was sick of making full price payments for a defective car that I believed they really had no intention of fixing.So, I am stuck making payments on their defective car for the next couple years, without a car and they've already placed the trap for the next chump to buy it. The car is for sale two days after I sold it back, bet the air is charged and working now! For a little while.

wife baought a car from there told the timing chain was week and then we found out that there was a recall on it that they never got it done and now the chain broke and Locke the engine up and they wont do anything about it
