I cannot say thank you enough to the guys at this Midas! I was on a road trip from Ohio to Illinois and about halfway through, my check engine light came on! I pulled into the parking lot 4 minutes before they closed to see if they could tell me what the light meant. They were SO kind! I know they just wanted to go home and call it a day but they told me what the light was reading, got the part in and had me back on the road an hour and 20 minutes later. I don t know what I would have done if they wouldn t have helped me. Thank you SO much! What a huge blessing!

The shop has truly been a great experience. True customer care rarely seen these days. Reminds me of customer service experience from the 80's. Manager Paul and his new team are doing great work and turning this Nidus location around for the good. Will take my vehicle back there in the future.

Had a great experience at this Midas location. They scheduled me early so I could get to work on time. Everyone was very polite and informative. I was in and out in under a half hour. I got an oil change, tire, and safety check.

Richmond Midas fixed a mistake another mechanic made free of charge, the same day. They had the car ready to go same day. Paul Crabtree is a trust worthy intelligent mechanic. I go to him for all my car repairs. You should too.

Thanks to Midas warning me about what they found as well as pointing out how important it is to get done. My car is getting done and for now on I will get my oil change at the Richmond IN Midas.God bless you for be so sincere!!Lisa A

I took my car to Midas Richmond IN to see what was wrong with my car and with less than an hour the found the problem. Couple days later I drop it off and it only took them one full day and I picked it up the day after and it was fixed!!!!!!

These guys were great. Very efficient and friendly. I would definitely return for more service.Update: 01/03/23: Came into the office about 15 minutes before closing time as my son's car's battery light came on. With him leaving for college the next day, I was hoping someone would just give me a diagnosis. Not only did the crew diagnose the problem, they stayed an hour over to finish the job and make sure his car was safe. I am especially appreciative of their extra effort to make a difference. In addition, the repair cost was very reasonable considering the problem. Thanks again guys!Service: Oil change

I cannot rave about Jimmy and Paul enough. Traveling from NY to MO, my exhaust broke. It was a few days before the 4th of July weekend and so I knew getting parts for the car may be difficult, let alone getting it into the shop to get fixed.Not only were Jimmy and Paul able to get the car into the shop ASAP to diagnose what was wrong with it, they explained EVERYTHING that was going on now and what would cause me problems in the future. They explained what they could do and tried to get me the best prices possible. As you can imagine, being stuck in a hotel for an undetermined amount of time and needing a whole new exhaust system can hit the wallet hard. But through it all, Jimmy and Paul were literally the lights during a dark time.They were able to get as many new parts as they could, reused the old parts that were salvageable, helped me look at financing options, and got me back on the road in 3 days. If they hadn't gone above and beyond, I don't know how I would have afforded to stay in the town with everything closed or delayed for the 4th of July.They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, diligent, never made me feel like a nuisance or dumb when I called or asked questions, and always treated me with respect. I've been interacting with different shops for over 20 years and this was the best experience I have ever had.Thank you, to both Jimmy and Paul for helping me during such a rough time, and for ensuring my safety driving home to MO!If you couldn't tell by the review, I highly recommend the Midas in Richmond, Indiana!!

I went in for a oil change and left with a wealth of knowledge.. the place was busy and the guys there made space for me for a oil change the guy Jimmy and his assistant I forget his name but the bearded one had me captivated with his wealth of knowledge.. this place has good air conditioning and its masked as a speak easy. Will be going again.

Jacob was great to work with!! They did the work, as requested, informed me of other repairs needed, as well as a time-line of when they need to be done. I appreciate that Jacob did not push me to get the repairs done right then. I will absolutely return to this Midas shop for my next car repairs. I received very good service with my oil change and tire rotation. They were very happy to quote other services I needed in future and gave me advice on other services I should consider for my vehicle. Overall I was very happy with my experience here. Treated with respect and not pressured to purchase other products or services. I would recommend giving them a try, Paul was very helpful and informative. Allen and his team were so helpful! He went above and beyond as manager. I live out of state and my calipers and brakes needed replacing, I wouldn't be able to drive the car home. He treated me with respect and did everything in his power to get my car repaired as soon as possible. They did a great job! Ive been driving the car a couple weeks now and all is well. I went to Midas to have my car looked at after getting a tire replaced elsewhere. Allen had let me know it was my tps sensor had broke off. Allen and Paul was very nice and very professional diagnosed my car quick and did a very good job getting everything fixed and got me back on the road with no more weird noise coming from my car. They made the process very comfortable and easy going. I will for now on be taking my business to this location thanks to the experience I had with Allen. Great place!

They were very nice men made me an my 4 kids 14 yr old, 8 yrs old, 4yr old an 2 yr old feel welcomed an told my kids they could watch tv if they wanted to and they did, had a great conversation with both men about each of our kids having a good laughter about that. I don't even know where to start...while driving from Saint Louis to New Jersey my car broke down, leaving me stranded in Richmond, Indiana. Not only did Allen and his crew take a full hour to go over all of my options, but did everything they could to make the repair as affordable as possible for someone young and down on his luck. Moreover, Allen and his team made every effort to do the job fast and efficiently, even going the extra mile and staying late on a holiday weekend, so I could get home and back to work as soon as possible. They were incredibly kind, helpful, patient, and did a great job on the car... if you are in Richmond, Indiana or anywhere within proximity, this is the place you want to go! Could not ask for better/more trustworthy mechanics.

I work for the USPS in Hagerstown and my vehicle is my lifeline for rural delivery, so getting it fixed as quickly as possible is the most important thing. Paul at Midas has remained honest, upfront and very helpful, and I very much appreciate his hard work and quick remedies for every problem I ve had so far. Sometimes, these automotive shops can try to swindle or talk you into very expensive, and sometimes unnecessary services but that hasn t been the case here. I m very late writing this review, but Allen and the guys went above and beyond! We were in the process of moving my son to NJ when his car died in Richmond, Indiana. It was 4:45 on a Friday afternoon. Allen said if he could get the car there before 5, they d get it on a lift and take a look. They ordered the parts that day, before leaving. The parts came in the following week, and they finished the car up on the Friday of a holiday weekend. It s a 5 hour drive from my home to Richmond, and we weren t going to be able to make it before 5. Allen stuck around, stayed late in order for my son to get his car that night. Seriously, Midwest nice is a thing! They treated us right, and I would give them 100 stars if I could!Service: Transmission

Allen and his crew were incredibly kind and helpful. they made sure i was aware of the issues with my car and broke down the details of what they needed to do to fix it. Allison here. I really like this place. The manager, Allen is friendly and helpful. Showed me everything that was wrong with the car and gave me fair estimates so I could come up with the best cost effective plan for repair. I would highly recommend this place for quality of work and professionalism. The guys are also fun to be around!

Our brakes went out while driving on 70WB. We called around on a Friday after 1pm looking for someone to help us that day as we were traveling through to Illinois. Midas set expectations of getting at least a diagnosis. We had our SUV towed over. They found that the front passenger break line had blown. I had to jump on the brakes and swerve to avoid the car in front of me while driving. Thus, the damage. They had us on our way in just over an hour. The staff were great! I take my car to the Midas where we live in Ohio. So, it's great to see their consistency in customer service. Highly recommend this location.Service: Brakes
