Racked my brain trying to figure out my park models plumbing. After several failed fixes I broke down and called, fully expecting to be drop kicked in the wallet. Patrick came to our spot in Batesville, Indiana. Indian Lakes RV Campground, and brought with him a very positive attitude that he wouldn t be leaving until the problem was fixed, and that s exactly what happened.Not only did he help me figure out the problem, but instead of staying onsite he told me he wouldn t feel right continuing to charge me for a problem he knew I was capable of finishing up.To me that just shouts authenticity, and honesty. He could have very easily stayed on site and helped me do the work, but that s not who he is or what he s about. In most instances you would think that the service is done, and that would be that. But Patrick went the extra mile later on, and checked up on me to make sure I didn t run into any problems. This was on his personal time, I can t tell you how much I appreciate, and recommend Dargie Mobile RV and any other business ventures he s associated with.Will definitely have him on speed dial for any other mobile home needs I have. Thanks guys!

A mechanic friend that utilizes this place for cars he is working on, recommended I have them replace my output speed sensor in my Ford Expedition. Long story short it is expensive no matter who does it since it is inside the transmission. It was going to cost me well over $2000 at the best priced quote that I had found. My friend told me these guys, Dargie Brothers, are GREAT and my friend said I HAD to go there with any transmission issues ever. So...I agreed...as he knows the mechanics of cars so his recommendation meant a lot. Well...he was so right! Now it was a little tough scheduling the vehicle as they don't have a secretary and are more focused on the vehicle work BUT they had it fixed within 3 days of dropping it off and saved me a lot as it was $1700 total. Plus, they took their time explaining things to me etc. My friend said they are always fair and do great work and really know their stuff and he was right. Thank you so much and had to put a review in due to my appreciation! I highly recommend them!

Dargie has been my go-to car service . They have always gone beyond servicing my car. When I leave my car for service, they will take me to work and come back to pick me up. That is service and kindness towards their customer. I trust in their knowledge about my car. Thank you, Mark and Bruce.

Dargie Automotive is an excellent shop that really talked me through every bit of the work my car needed, and I felt my money was very well spent on their service. My only complaint? They're almost too successful! Be prepared to wait a bit if you need work done, Dargie is VERY busy and that is reflective of how high quality their work is. All in all I'm very happy with my experience and look forward to using their services in the future.

Dargie Automotive has always given me great service. I ve been coming here for the past 4-5 years whenever I have an issue with one of my cars. Repairs on foreign vehicles can sometimes be expensive no matter where you go, but you can be confident that things are done right when you go to Dargie. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. I would recommend this mechanic shop to anyone in need of a repair.

I can't sing the praises of this shop enough! They are the MOST honest and reasonable mechanics I have EVER used. Mark and his team do the job and if something goes wrong, they will do their best to squeeze you in and readjust the issue! My whole family brings our vehicles to Dargie! Thank you for ALWAYS taking such good care of us!

These guys are fantastic!! Traveling home from a New Year's trip we had a transmission problem. Dodge wouldn't even look at it. I called Dargies and was told they would check it out for me even though they were swamped. Not only did they find the issue but took the time to fix it right then! Saved my day for sure!!!Excellent prices and super friendly!!! I'd almost drive to them to have all if my auto repairs done!10 stars!!!!

I got my car in July and the dealership recommended Dargie because they would accept my warranty( they are only one of a few is what I was told). I have taken my car to them four times now because they messed up our timing chain and didn t fix it properly. My husband told them exactly what was wrong with it but they didn t listen. I took it in 21 days ago, it took them a week to get it in the garage yet they are the ones that scheduled for me to bring it in when I did, he informed me last Friday he had finally found the new engine and would call the warranty company after his lunch break. When I called him to check on things Monday, he claimed he couldn t find my warranty papers...all that info should be in his system since they are the only people to work on it...and now I have to wait for the dealer we bought it off of to find the paperwork.(Rummel s Automotive Sales in Hagerstown) I have now called every day since Monday, with no returned phone calls. Pretty disappointing since it s the only transportation I have for my family and for me to get back and forth to work. I m sure they would be upset also, if they would lose their jobs because someone is piddling around on getting the job done. Very disappointed and upset at this point as you can tell.

Dargie fixed my shift cable....could have easily charged me to replace the entire thing, but he called and told me it was possible to weld and let me choose and had it done sooner than he originally estimated. It has been about a year and I have had no issues since. He could have also charged me a crazy amount because he is one of very few people who will work on a manual transmission, but he did not. I would recommend him to anybody needing work done.

Took a car there for a fuel leak and the advised it needed a fuel line replaced. After 2 months of calling and getting "we will get to it next week," I have had enough. It is a 30+ year old car and we definitely understand it could be hard to find parts and that they might be busy, but there is no way that it should take over 60 days to get parts and replace.. We will be picking up the car and taking it somewhere else where it actually will get done...

Mark is very accommodating, and straight forward, a well mannered marine like most that I've met, very professional soft spoken, thank you for your service to the country and the public. been workin on our beetle for 3 years when we got it for 25$ it was hot garbage and piece by piece they have put it back together and are still doing things that come up mark is an excellent owner and more than fair

Our A/C went out midday July on our roadtrip back to Colorado and Bruce Dargie and his crew got us in to check it out and got the A/C fixed. On a Friday afternoon and even being short staffed and busy, Bruce let us pop in and took the time to diagnose and fix the issue. This is a great family auto repair shop with amazing customer service that rescued us from a potentially miserable couple of days of summer driving.

Dargie installed an engine in my 2007 Saab 9-5 that I bought from a customer of theirs. I live three hours away, so I called and spoke with them several times to assess the condition of the car before I picked it up. I asked them to look around and let me know the condition and what needed to be done while they were working. As if for their own kid. Mark said that the font brakes might need to be replaced at some point and there was nothing else that needed to be done. Unfortunately, I picked the car up and paid for it during a rain storm because I did not hear or experience many of the problems until I got near my home. What I thought was loud rain was actually the car sounding tires groaning on the road. I had to replace the rear shocks and rear tires that were severely cupped from running on bad shocks. You could hear it on the road from inside and outside the car going down the road. If the folks at Dargie had driven the car twenty feet, they would have heard it. As I pulled into my neighborhood, an engine light went on from a hole in a hose. I have had a leak since the day I got it. I get several drips every day under the front of the engine. Turns out it is from rusted power steering and transmission lines under the front of the engine. Having to replace the lines requires taking apart the front end of course. There is no way they bothered to look around the car before I got it. Really disappointed that I trusted them. I would not use them on a bet.

Took toyota in for transmission problems. Was told they were 99% sure it needed shift solenoids and just had a similiar transmission that needed same. $1700 and left Dargie and car had no change. Still shifted bad. Called back and was told i guess they should have went with rebuild instead. Guess i fell in the 1% of not fixing problem. Getting tired of hearing comercial on radio about Dargie fixing your car right the first time!

Took car in on a wednesday morning to have clutch installed 4-7 hr. Rated job. No call thursday, i call friday at 1 tells me clutch is done but they broke high pressure line to power steering while removing transmission so they order new line at 135$ but dnt tell me till i called friday afternoon, said hose will be there at 1 and car will be done so i call at 5 and get no answer from 5 to 530 and guess who dnt work wknds so a half day job has put me out of a car for 5 days if its ready by monday holy !#@%

Awesome & very knowledgeable of what they are doing...they were able to get my Mercedes computer cleared (& the system is coded & no other local shops could or even want to try beside a Dealer..soo glad I found this place. Now that I have soo many of my other "car friends" have told me what a great place this is. I certainly will be going back to them.

I ve Been taking my cars to Dargie s since I bought my first convertible VW Rabbit in 1989 they have alway done great work and they are all very nice every single time I m in there

The Dargies are honest and provide some of the best work in Richmond. The may not be the fastest mechanic shop but they are top quality at honest prices.

I had a appointment and they didn't call me to move it and when I showed up they were like well we can't do it today and to call in a couple of days to reschedule cause they took me off the schedule.
