Took care of our problem anytime I have ever took anything thing there. Little on the higher side price wise but you get what you pay for and they do good work so price is fitting.

I would highly reccommend this place to anyone in need of a great local tire shop. Very affordable and professional, friendly atmosphere. They are the #1 tire choice in the Richmond area.

Very rude and way over priced I would not recommend going there for anything the way the owner talks to potential customers I was at the dealership purchasing a bmw and the previous owner took it to this shop since day one when he purchased it new, so I figured I would take it to a shop that s been working on it since day. I called to get a estimate on a tuneup/ timing chain replaced and the owner said you don t have to change it at 90k. I worked around machines for a living I can tell what s wrong dude was rude from then jump said he wasn t going to waste his time on something I wasn t sure about purchasing, I told him I have the check in hand and I was wanting to know what the cost was for that, a water pump replaced as well as a tune. Dude act like he was to good and stated I don t even know the model and I told him I could give him the vin number if the car and didn t care. He stated his hourly rate was 155 per hour! I would not go there or do any business with people like that if they treat a person like and don t care that means they won t care about your car! Save your money and go elsewhere!

Our mini van was making a noise and was able to have Brad look at it over lunch break, I thought it was going to be wheel bearing or drum brake. Instead it was a warped brake back plate. Brad was able to get our van back on the road quickly!

My husband and I have a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. We were having some issues with our A/C which we were informed could be the control panel malfunctioning which was in turn causing some electrical issues. We went to a junk yard in the hopes to just be able to replace the unit ourselves but were then referred to Beach Automotive because "they're good with electrical work." We dropped our car off at Beach on July 8th and explained to them that our A/C wasn't working properly and we just wanted the control panel replaced to the factory model because the previous owner had replaced it with a custom panel. Long story short, Beach had our car for 2+ months, would not tell us what was wrong with it or how long it was going to take to fix it despite the multiple times we called and either got no answer or would be told we would get a call back and then never got a call back. They did not tell us prices of/for anything before purchasing and repairing the issues the car was having. Ended up costing us $1,200+ and the issue was not completely fixed when we got the car back. Upon getting it back, our radio was not working properly and the external components were not working at all. We then took it back into beach and told them the issue was not fixed and explained that the things now wrong with it were working before we took the car into them. They stated they would take a look at it. Got back in touch with us and informed us it was going to be a completely separate issue and it was going to cost another $900 to repair it, despite it working before we took the car to them. We advised them that we were going to have to decline getting the work done as we had just paid them $1,200 to which they responded, "We're still going to have to charge you the $102 for the diagnostic." which we were unaware they were even going to do as I stated before, they do work without verifying with the customer first that they want it done/are going to be able to afford it. After we went for the second time to pick up our car, my husband aired his grievances with the owner in a very calm manner about not only the ridiculous time frame it took them to "fix" our car, but the lack of quality of work done, considering another issue arose. The owner proceeded to get an attitude and did not even attempt to hear my husband out. We then got home from picking up our car for the second time having now paid $1,300+ for repairs on it and now it isn't wanting to start. We had a HORRIBLE experience with Beach Automotive and WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone. Their prices are outrageous, their attitudes and professionalism are horrendous and they only made the issues with our vehicle worse.Services: Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Electrical, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Battery

Received a fair estimate for a difficult job. The price ended up being exactly what was quoted with no surprises. Easy to work with and great communication. We couldn't be more pleased. I will return and would recommend.

Have used through the years many times. No surprises on price. Quote given before work. Any unexpected problems have always been addressed before hand with a phone call. Pricing is very fair. Work is above satisfactory. Very nice people too. Must remember they have bills to pay also and payroll to meet.

I will start out by saying that the customer service and professionalism here were good. No complaints there, but that is where it ends. I will also preface that this incident happened over a year ago as well, fwiw. I went in for a tire, as mine was in pretty bad shape, but they didn't have any new ones. They did however have a used tire, which was seemingly overpriced, but I needed a tire to get me back to Cincinnati, so I went with it. My car sat a few days but once I got on the road, the tire basically disintigrated on the highway. I had driven on the tire for less than 100 miles before this occured. Had it not been for my impeccable driving skills ( ), it could've ended very badly. Once I took my car into my mechanic in Ohio, they explained to me that the tire was over 20 years old and should've been used for a rope swing but never put on a car. That said, I put some of the blame on me for not looking at the tire once I picked up the car but most of the blame is squarely on Beach Automotive. Not only was I over charged, in my honest opinion, but I was given an antique for a tire which put myself, my family and anyone else on the highway that day in danger. I decided not to ask for my money back, because that wasn't the point here. The point is that they would do something like this to anyone. This could have been my kids car or who knows, shame on them for this. I would not recommend this place, maybe to an enemy, nor will I be back myself. Sorry, not sorry.

Beach Automotive Services takes excellent care of my vehicles. They are very knowledgeable and professional. It's such a big help being able to take my cars to Beach Automotive Services instead of driving over an hour away to go to a dealer.

Told them what was wrong with the car. Still proceeded to run a diagnostic that cost $102. Then proceeded to take 3 weeks to replace the fuel pump relay. Granted the business they got it from could have been lagging on service but $1,000 for all that. They didn't even replace my back seat properly. Will include pictures, didn't notice this until today because I don't sit in my back seat obviously. Seat belt is BEHIND the back rest and the seat isn't even secured properly to the frame. $1,000 for a 3 week wait and Improper reinstall work.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

Brought my van in to have the starter replaced because it was acting up. They checked the starting and charging systems for any problems, but found non. They checked the starter, they said it was pulling more current than it should be, so replaced the starter.They also found some coolant leaks, intake gasket and the radiator. Radiator had a crack in it. I was wondering where my coolant was going.They called me to give an estimate for the starter, then they informed me about the leaks and gave an estimate for fixing the leaks. They advised me to get the leaks fixed while it was there since we were going away next week. I took their advise to fix all three problems, better to fix the leaks than to take a chance on having problems while traveling. It was a good chunk of money, but its better to be safe than sorry.These people are very nice, when they fine other issues they let you know what they are before they fix them along with the original issue. I was referred to Beach Automotive by a friend of his in Cambridge City, Mike Jansing. They went to school together. Its good to have reputable mechanics who can refer you to others that do as good of work when they can't service your vehicle right away. Thanks to Beach Automotive they are not far from where I live. Jansings Auto Service in Cambridge City and Beach Automotive here in Richmond are good places to take your vehicles. I wish I could give more than 5 stars on this review.

I love this place!!! They are always very upfront about the fees and the work that needs to be done. When there is a lot of work that needs to be done, they will pick up your car at work. I can't say enough good things and HIGHLY recommend them to you as well.

Went to fix armrest for my Mini. I could have done it myself(which involved to remove a couple of screws - too tight). The service guy charged me $46 for this simple task. I thought it would cost no more than $20...I would never go to them again. People, keep off from them.
