I love to visit Van Winkle when I am visiting my in laws. I have purchased tires from them mid-trip on more than one occasion. They have a wide variety of new and used tires for a range of applications. They offer mechanical services and if your auto needs something they cannot do, then they can recommend nearby reputable mechanic shops. They have friendly employees, prompt service, and a clean office from my experience.Highly recommend!I went in most recently in early June of 2023 and they were very friendly and talked with my two young sons and let them feel like they were helping with the tire swap. I had three tires replaced on wheels I brought there. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with the tires I purchased mounted and balanced for an almost unbelievably reasonable price. All around a very pleasant experience

Super friendly staff and management. Very knowledgeable about what they do here. VanWinkle's has been in business for years and you can tell why. Great customer service, not too expensive, does a great job on everything they do and it's usually always done in a very timely manner. I've been taking car here for 13 years and will continue to do so.

A friend recommended this shop and I'm so happy we took our truck there. They did a great job I don't think it's ever driven so nice. Great customer service and the price was even really good. Went in for a tire rotation and a tpms (tire pressure sensor) reset. Without even looking I was told it was a faulty sensor that needed repaired. So I went to Big O where they charged me less for the trouble, and reset my tire pressure light free of charge.

Very friendly and honest. So glad to of found them when I did. Was dealing with big o tires and they lied about services they charged me for that they never completed. And did work they didn't ask me about first. I don t take my car (or my previous car) anywhere else! If something happens to be outside of the work they do there, Dave has referred me to the right place. I put my trust in the mechanics & all staff there. A few of my family members do the same. Highly recommend!

Generally I'm very happy with Van winkles but this last time I took my car in I asked him to fix the front end and put on tires they did not fix the front end and they put tires all the way around which cost me more than I was expecting to spend I still have to get my friend in fixed or the tires will get torn up

Best prices on tires I could find anywhere. And gave my half price on my front end alignment with the purchase of 4 tires mounted and balanced. Fast service, friendly people, excellent pricing! Highly recommend!!!

I've been a customer here for 34 years, and I've never had a problem David couldn't fix. He even found me a great mechanic for services he can't provide. All the oil changes, brakes, and tires on my family's four cars (& my tractor tires) come from Van Winkle's. The service is better than Big O's. The prices are low. They'll fix a tire free seemingly forever with no service contracts. This place checks over my cars as if they are their own. They let me know when I might need brakes or tires months ahead so I can plan for it.This is one of the best businesses I've ever encountered. Thanks, guys, for all you've done for me.

Tried to set up a alignment 3 different times now since they are local. Each time they say call back 8n the morning and dont even schedule me. I show up once and the alignment rack is broken. Terrible way to do service and I will never trust this shop with my vehicle in the future.

My 1st time using Van Winkles, but all my family goes there. Dave seems like a really kind person. Didn't over charge me. Actually, he saved me money. My brother told me he STILL HOLDS the high jump record at NHHS.

I had never been to Vanwinkles until this morning and did not personally know anyone who had. I noticed an issue with my car on my way to work and brought it to Vanwinkles to see if they could help. I was helped by a man named Dave, who I assume is the owner of the business. Admittedly the issue with my car was minor, but that does not diminish the fact that Dave had me ready to go in a matter of minutes. At no charge. I had recently had a Valve Job done on my engine (at another service center) and it was almost completely rebuilt. The mechanic from that job (a Jeep Dealer in Corydon) failed to bolt down my power steering pump correctly and it was falling off. The Mechanic at Van winkle saw the part falling off and asked me if I had work done recently. I told him yes and had it towed back to the dealer to get them to correct their mistake. It took over a week but when that was done, I took my Jeep back to Van Winkle Service Center to get my brakes fixed. I only buy tires from them and I use them for all the services they provide. I trust them to do the job right.Services: Brakes, Oil change
