Not friendly, not helpful. We had warranty on the tires we bought there and unfortunately got a flat. They wouldn t allow us to just bring in the tire and wheel to replace. We were told to patch it up somehow and bring in the car as well. So we did. When we got there they said they couldn t do anything because we patched it ourselves and that it lapses the warranty and they told us we needed to buy a brand new tire again. They are a joke of a business.Service: Tires

Amazingly low class, non motivated workers at this auto center who really didn't seem like they wanted to actually work. This was our 1st time trying Walmart auto center and was turned away for being 10 mins late. This occurred on 3-26-21 at 12:30 but after finding out where to go and be; we were in front of the auto care register at 12:40. They lost a new customer and to top things off didn't even have any vehicles in any of their bays when they made an issue of us being late turning me away. I wasn't happy and it was made into an embarrassing situation in front of young son and other customers.I felt as the manager know what had happened so I called "Bobbie" while we were getting the oil changed right down the road at "take 5" ---Bobbie the manager was very concerned about what they had done, even saying it wasn't right. She offered for us to return, but I explained those guys she had working didn't want to work and they would not be touching my car. I told her there was no way I could feel comfortable now with coming there. She assured me she would be fixing all this and seemed to understand that if she didn't it was going to hurt future business. Bobbie asked me to return when the next oil change is due to see that she had fully resolved the problems.

Took 2 - 1/2 hours for an oil change, no lounge to sit, watch tv or read while waiting, just go outside and wait under a blazing sun. The price was right for sure, no complaints there. I found a camping chair that was just inside the department store, just out of automotive and waited there. No one complained.

Horrible service had to wait 3 hours for a oil change and they weren't even busy would not recommend this place

They charged me $4 more today on the same tire than I bought 2 weeks ago at Camby center, & they increase the basic oil change from $19 to $22, & it discouraged me to get my oil change...only 1 employee was professional & nice among 4 people. That's not good.

Not deaf friendly Very disrespectful and doesn t want to do oil change like supposed to and waited for an hour and doing other vehicles and it supposed to be first serve and I been here waiting and no one wants be communicating with me cause I m deaf they half azz work and charged me expensive knowing it was supposed to be not too expensive and they treat me like I m not exist I m human being like everyone else I just know I ll do oil change myself than being ripped off and usedService: Oil change

I went to the Plainfield Walmart for an oil change over 2 hours before they close. I went inside and was told to wait outside in my car and someone would come out to give me a ticket. I waited 5 min or so and a gentleman came out told me it would probably be an hour and a half and I said that was fine, I would get some shopping done inside while I waited. Then he said "probably more like 2 hours" and I said okay. Then he said "actually it will probably be over 2 hours, you don't want to wait that long, right?" So I said "no, I guess I don't" because it was apparent they didn't want to have to do it. I then drove to the Avon Walmart and was told they wouldn't do it either. I arrived at 6:20pm, waited outside for 10 minutes (with no cars ahead of me outside) for someone to come out with the ticket. No one came out so I went inside and was told they couldn't do it because they close in 1/2 hours. I am now still sitting outside in my vehicle at 6:53pm because there is a car parked behind me that is boxing me in so I can't move. So I decided to spend my time writing a review.

I got there at 9:45AM. I was told it would be done in an hour. I waited an hour and 45 min so I asked how much longer it would be because I needed to go to work and they informed me that they hadn t even started on it yet because the guy forgot about an appointment that was scheduled! I waited all that time for nothing! I will never go to this center again.Service: Tires

I'll review the actual service later however there's a woman here who when answering the phone cut me off and hung up on me. All I was asking is if they do appointments or drive up only and before I could finish the word appointments she said no then hung up. Then when I walked up to try to figure out where to take my car (first time so wasn't really sure) she had a rude and awful attitude and basically shooed me away. Sorry lady, not everyone is a seasoned car owner who knows exactly what to do and where to go. I hope the other employees will be nicer than her.

Waited 1 hour after receiving quote then they would not put the tires on because they are 10mm over stock size. Which was clearly communicated when I quoted the installation. Refused to call corporate because the counter was too busy.

Should really have its own reality tv show. Was told they couldn t help me, then my boyfriend call and ask the same thing and they said they could help him, got there and they said they couldn t again. My boyfriend called and they finally helped me but before they did any work....One guy was yelling at the other guy, had to explain what I needed three times, finally I just agreed to a price to just get out of there. Only one younger was helpful/nice. There is zero communication and extremely unprofessional. Will never go back, even in emergency situation like today. Just not worth it.

My trip here was awesome! No wait, in and out in about an hour with 4 new tires. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. The best Walmart experience I've had in a very long time..... Side note I generally REFUSE to shop at Walmart.

My husband and I bought 4 new tires about four months ago we had a six hour wait. They did only charge us for three tires due to our wait. Today he had a bolt in his tire and went back up to Walmart and he is still waiting. He has been waiting 3 hours plus. We will never return or recommend anyone.

Employees very nice BUT after oil change realized that they had not screwed the underneath oil cap back on correctly, lost a lot of the new oil, and they had not properly secured the plastic plate that protects the under side of the car and it had almost completely fallen off. Looks like they couldn't get it secured quickly enough and just gave up. Not real impressed.

I come in it at 7:30 thinking it was open was rudely told that it don't open up till 10 I came back at 9:45 for an oil change and at 10:18 I'm still waiting in line for an oil change I called talk to the manager she said the staff usually comes in between 10 and 11 that they usually open the doors by 11 that she's sorry she can't control the staff and what time they come in very poor service....Service: Oil change

Went exactly at 6pm only 1 car in the bay areas.. told us to come back in the morning for an oil change. Im sorry what are you going to do for an hour? Oh thats right play on your phone which is exactly what the man was doing when I asked for an oil change.

I've had good experiences at this Walmart for oil changes. The employees have been accommodating and helpful and the oil changes never take long. It's nice that I can do my shopping while I wait!

I feel that there is a poisonous atmosphere from the top down at the Plainfield Walmart Auto Care Center. The attitudes are very negative. I even had a Service Manager throw my wheel and tire down against the floor when I mentioned that I had requested (via the paperwork writer) that the red dots be aligned with the valve stems, which he didn't do, and he had to re-index two tires. Very unprofessional throwing my wheel/tire to the floor. It scratched up my polished aluminum wheel. Aligning the high runout marks with the valve stems is standard procedure at any legitimate tire shop. I shouldn't even have to remind them. It seems that the employees that begin with good attitudes get beaten down eventually by the overall negativity.

Whoever this guy is they have out here needs a raise because I pull in at 7:30 in the morning for an oil change,it s 20 degrees outside,and he has a great attitude and gets it done fast. If you want the best price on an oil change in Plainfield I ve had good service here.

2+ hour wait time estimate for an oil change, and you have to stay or leave the vehicle. Went across the parking lot less than a block to carx and was in and out for the same price in under half an hour. Ridiculous! Save time, drive the extra 500ft!

they are unpunctual to open I asked for permission to leave work early because the man who takes the orders told me they received the last car at 3:30 which was a lie he told me that they opened at 7 am the next day and they opened at 7:15 I lost my breaks at work and my time apart got upset and told me to go complain inside the store they have a terrible attitude

Told me 45 minutes for oil change. After 1 hour was told technician took his lunch half way thru job. Still waiting for him to get back. Now 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I arrived at 4:45 pm and was told they can't take me even though they had one car in front me, they told me on the phone they would take me, and they close at 6pm.Will never get work done here again.

There are at least 10 other tire/auto businesses within a mile of Walmart. Please don t waste your time or money here. Midas took great care doing what Walmart could not. Terrible customer service.

BEWARE: This pharmacy is filled with rude and incompetent employees. We moved all our family prescriptions to another pharmacy. The residents of Plainfield and Hendricks county deserve better much than this.

Be smart, and take your vehicle, which you depend on to more competent and qualified people. I've tried different Walmarts; 81st and Michigan, Avon, and this Plainfield store. They are all the same, terribly slow service and halfa** jobs.

First time ever using Walmart for an oil change. As soon as I pulled up the guy (Joe) was so rude to me for no reason. In his defense, he ended up apologizing but it was still a bad experience. Won t be back...
