Very nice, laid back RV park with good rates. Owners are very friendly. Park grounds are well maintained and sites have two sewer connections instead of one which accommodates larger RVs with two bathrooms. We enjoyed the view of the pond and watching the little turtles peeking up from the water, the ducks and geese that seem to live there full time, and the fireflies in the evenings. The shower room and laundry are in the storm cellar of the main house/office building, so someone with mobility issues may have trouble accessing them. Also there is occasional noise from trains, and there is an active mining operation nearby, but with our fans and a/c running it really wasn't that noticeable unless we were outside. We will stay there again if we are ever back in the area.

Great little park. Stayed 2 months this time. Peaceful setting in the country with a little lake. Great area other side of lake where we could let the big dog run wild and wear himself out. There is allot of road and train noise and you can hear and sometimes smell the coal mine. We still love the place and the farm restaurant buffet just over bridge is great also.

A little difficult to find without the name on the sign by road, but was a easy turnaround. Nice level spots. The person that we talked to I think was owner was very friendly. Quite during the day, but yes he did tell us there is a train that goes by. But we didn't know it did all night long, along with a active underground coal mine with trucks in and out. A safe place to stay but bring ear plugs.

The camp was well groomed, sites were easy to park in. The problem for us was that there are 2 sets of train tracks only 30 to 40 feet from our site. During the day only 5 or 10 trains went by, but at night there at the very least were 15 to 20. We got no sleep all night. If the trains don't bother you it's a really nice park.

We stopped in the middle of the night. A little hard to find in the dark but well forth the stop. We helped ourselves to a spot and paid in the morning. It was about $35. Friendly and hospitable. Yes there were train noises but this is an oasis for the weary traveler. Well kept and clean place.

This is a wonderful little park with great prices. Roomy shaded sights. Cute little pond and fish cleaning station. Horse shoes and a small basketball hoop. Did not use the shower or laundry room but it's clean. I would definitely come back if I was in the neighborhood again.

A very nice, well-maintained, family-run park. Good level, gravel sites provide easy access for big rigs. Sites are nicely shaded though some trees are overhanging and can be close to slide outs. Train and road noise so if that bothers you go elsewhere. Bring your fishing pole, no license required.

We will have been here for 2 weeks by the time we leave. Very well cared for park. Nice sites. Owners are VERY NICE. Great place to walk dogs. Convenient to lots of southern Indiana history and charm. We will be back!

We stayed for an overnight while passing through from Milwaukee to Nashville. The park is maintained well. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sounds from the trains were quite loud and disturbing throughout the night. It is in a fairly remote area and the pricing is fair to reflect that.

The park itself is great, clean, and friendly owners. The only downside is the amount of noise that travels the highway from the train track. If you can manage to sleep with earplugs, its probably not as noticeable. But I'm not able to do that.

There are cameras in the shower and bathroom that move while you are near them....not a good place. Stayed only 1 night..also about 30 feet from a train track that is immensely loud multiple times during the night....go somewhere else!! We were there in November 2016 and met Paul who lives there year round.I just saw where someone corrected and said that there are no cameras that is a bunch of BS. I brought my husband back in to see them with me and he also saw them and saw them moving. If she did not see them then the owner must have hid them. I would beware because they were all over the place at least fou. One in the laundry room possibly 2, one pointed right at the shower and one in the bathroom. Very creepy place.

Awesome park that fits my 44ft raptor no problem. The little pond is full of bass for fishing any time. If your a paramotor pilot this park is for you they have a landing strip!

I think this was a fantastic little rv park. It is family owned and operated, everything is exceptionally clean and well maintained, they offer propane, have laundry facilities and all the other necessities.I don't know why anyone would give them a rating of two stars, unless they are just serious tightwads or the uppity type campers that seen to think $20 entities them to a night at the opera house suite at the hyatt in sydney... I was greeted warmly, shown respect as a patron by the young man attending the office when my wife and I arrived, and payed less than $25 for two nights with our passport america card. To get 50 amp service, water, sewage, etc... at that price is a steal.I can barely do that with my solar and generator system on BLM land. The only downsides are that it is right on the main highway and close to a cement plant, so you do get a little road noise and extra light at night due to the plant, but these things are obvious when you arrive, so i is kinda hard to criticize the rv park for my choice to stay there. I think it is very good value for the money, safe and very clean also.

Small park. Good stop over while visiting nearby towns. Nice people, honor PA. Several seasonal residents, and what seemed to be construction workers. Train and road noise ( it's right next to highway )
