First time dealing with the owner was great went back two pick up wheels an tires the guy at the counter was not friendly at all he acted like he didn't have time it's there loss all stick to the shops I no definitely won't go back or recommend this shop to anyone

I had my AC replaced in early July, but it stopped working after 2 weeks and I went back. They said they needed to top off my coolant but claimed they did that when the AC was replaced, so why would they need to top it off? Again, it stopped working after 2 weeks. There is a leak somewhere and they didn't bother looking and trying to fix it. The guys there are nice but it seems they take advantage of women who come in for repairs. I paid close to $700 for a working AC and that's not what I got.Service: Auto A/C replacement

Treated me well on the phone, booked my car an appointment right away. Everyone else didn't want to work on my car. Dons helped me when nobody else would. He didn't talk down to me because I'm female as a few mechanics in town have, was courteous and really understood how important my car is to me. I'd recommend these guys to everyone. The price is reasonable to. I will update after repair is made but I have every ounce of faith these guys will take care of the issue with my car without a hesitation. Good guys :)

Very good service. Had a flat tire and they were able to get the bead on the rim repaired and the tire aired up all before I had to be at work. It was very inexpensive as well. Will be taking my car to them for suspension work in the very near future.Edit:. I took my vehicle back to them as I said I would. I understand that they are busy. However I called and every time I called I was told my vehicle would be going in the garage that day and done the next. I'd call back and they were "just too busy". This went on for 3 weeks. I finally went there in person. I was told my vehicle was on the calendar and would definitely be in today. I asked them to call me when it got in.never got the call. So the next day after work while they were closed. I saw it sitting in the exact same spot it was left when it dropped off. That was the final straw. I called a few mechanics, many who said they were too busy, but was recommended one in Seymour. He said he could get me in on Tuesday. I called Lucas wrecker and asked him to tow it over for me. I then called and let the shop know that Lucas was coming to tow it to a different mechanic since I've been waiting a month to get in. He replied that it was already in the garage but if that's what I really wanted, then he will pull it back out. I said yeah, sorry, not trying to be rude but you've had it a month, I'm done waiting. The driver from Lucas informed me that it was buried behind some vehicles when he picked it up which tells me it wasn't actually ever in the garage, and probably wasn't going to be. I'll leave two stars since my first experience was so good, but unless they either expand their operations so they can push more vehicles through, be HONEST about time estimates (Had I been told that realistically it will be between a month to a month and a half, I probably would have been ok and waited.), Or start turning people away when they are starting to get overbooked until they get caught back up, I can't recommend this place anymore.

My stepmother and I were passing through North Vernon today and one tire was almost flat when we returned to the car from breakfast. Since we were only two blocks away I drove to Don's. Everyone was very friendly and they got us right in. We were back on the road in a short amount of time and the price for repair was reasonable. Thank you guys for the friendly service, you not only fixed our tire but you fixed our day. We left your place with a smile and went on to have a wonderful journey.

I took my mustang to them. I bought 2 tires from them. I had them put on the back. After I got my car home 2 days later I noticed that one of the tires was low. I took it back to the shop. All they did was air it up. About 5 days later it was almost flat. My husband went to air it up so I could take it back to them to see what the problem was. My husband had bought 4 valve caps for it. Bullets they are called. He noticed 1 wasn't even put back on. The back tire that was flat He noticed after removing the bullet valve caps was messed up. When the mechanic put the cap back on had placed the black cap like the ones you see on bicycles . He then crammed the bullet valve cap on top of it. So I went back to Don's tire 4 the third time and told the guy at the counter. Very rude and hot tempered man . The problem he was terribly rude and told me that his mechanics wouldn't do that.. he was upset when I showed up and was complaining about it. He said go ahead and be upset all I have heard all day is people complaining. They put my car in to see what was the problem. The value stem was leaking. Well of course I told him . Who ever crammed the bullet cap over the other one had to of broken it. He still wanted to say it was his mechanics. The mechanic that was standing beside me said I am the one who worked on this car. I did it. Not on purpose of course but at least He has enough integrity to be honest. He fixed the valve stem and replaced the valve caps. Don or don jr. Who ever the guy at the counter was still being rude..I told him that this was the second vehicle that he or his mechanics have messed up my vehicle. I will never return there. He is a poor businessman. If I were you. Go somewhere else. His mechanics are very untrained. He however is just a very unpleasant person.Services: Tires, Engine repair

this place did a great job for me, I had new tires put on wheels and old removed, and was going to wait till following Thursday to put them on but I ended up getting back a little earlier than expected and they went ahead and threw them on for me all spur of the moment,, I definitely will do business with them again.. Hopefully when Don Jr returns proper business ethics will follow . Whoever the hot head is behind the counter will cost them many customers. I will never return after being treated as a moron . Just had my Monroe 58636 Monroe Load Adjust Shock Absorbers installed there, and they did a very professional and timely job; and kept to the lower end of their phone quote.Nice to find out about the other automotive services they provide. And, I like that any service they do for the vehicle is reported to the MyCarFax service record automatically

I think they missed a large component of my front end troubles. They did a ball joint tighten rather than replacing the parts which is fine. After the alignment I still have play in the steering. Could the obvious shock broken in the front be a factor? Hmm

My mother took my car, along with brakes purchased from an auto supply store, to Don s Tire & Auto Repair to have them installed. In addition to installing the brakes, they cleaned my rotors. Initially, I was impressed with the way my car was function, however a few weeks later I started hearing an unnatural noise when I would brake. This noise was unpleasant and was getting louder and louder every time I would brake. Don Jr. of Don s Tire & Auto Repair was willing to take a look at the vehicle, but given that at that time I was nearly 70 miles away, I didn t feel comfortable driving my car that distance with the grinding that was happening when I would brake. I took my car to a local Tire Discounters, where they diagnosed the issue as, and forgive me as I don t know a lot about vehicles, brake caliper slides that were incorrect put in place after the brake job. They were put in either backwards or upside down, perhaps both, but they were definitely not in their place correctly. This issue had caused damage to the brand new brake and to the rotors. I called Don s Tire & Auto Repair to explain the situation and was met with extreme disapproval by the owner, who stated I was telling wild stories and even Don Jr. denied Tire Discounter s diagnosis stating that it was not possible . He called my local Tire Discounters, who currently had my vehicle in their shop for diagnosis, and told them the same thing- that they were wrong. He was willing to fix the damage, however he disputed the issue. After going back and forth between these two businesses, it was an easy choice to have Tire Discounters fix the issue as I couldn t be sure that it wouldn t occur again if I took my car back to Don s Tire & Auto Repair. Additionally, I knew I would be met with the same disapproval I received over the phone if I took my car back in. I do not recommend using this company for any of your tire/auto repair needs.

My earlier review of Don"s Tire was a keystroke error on my part. I could not be happier with the many services l have received there. Quality work at a fair price performed by experienced and friendly technicians. I give Don's tore my highest recomendation.

If you reside in the North Vernon/Jennings county area and need assistance with your vehicle maintenance, truly look no further than Don's Tire. You are met with a "Hometown" feel as soon as you walk in the door. It's clearly evident they take pride in what they do... Not only for your vehicle but also you as a customer.

Customer service was excellent, After searching all over , finally found a tire at Don's , went to have it put on, and despite them being really busy, they did their best to get mine done asap. Really appreciate Don's tires...

My truck has been leaking fluid, i cant get under it so i went to don's and put it on their lift. They found the leak and ordered the parts. That quick.
