A great place to get your car looked at and fixed.Everyone there was helpful and friendly and they are very professional.If you're taking your car in to have them diagnose your car/to fix your car, check out their website. They completed an oil change and rear brake replacement on our 2016 Subaru Outback on 12/20/23, invoice #4885. We smelled oil afterwards on our holiday trip and have ever since. Our car also started leaking oil, which we did not notice until we got home. We had the problem corrected, but not by them. I emailed them to inform them that their technician installed the wrong oil filter on our car. The correct one has a much smaller diameter. No response. Hopefully, they are better at brakes than oil changes.

We had some problems with the timing chain job, which was the parts manufacture, so it took a little longer than expected and having to keep bringing the car back, totaly not Derricks fault. I've had the car back now for several months and it's running perfect, Thanks Derrick, great job, sorry about all the extra time and work you had to do

Derrick is always kind and forward with any of my vehicles problem. I have been going to him for years because he is the most honest mechanic I know and I have never been cheated by him, which as a small lady has happened quite a bit at other mechanics. His work is great and he has fixed up my car more than once. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Was looking for a new auto repair shop. Thought the water pump was going out on my car. Asked for price quotes from three local shops. Newburgh Automotive came in with the least cost. Thought I would give a shot working on 8car. Got a call in the afternoon from the mechanic and told me I didn't need a water pump, it was the serpentine tension pulley. So instead of paying $167, I ended up paying $97. Found my new repair shop.

I've been a customer since Derrick bought the business a few years ago. I can't say enough good things about Derrick and all the guys and gals there at Newburgh Auto. He's the most honest and affordable mechanic I've ever met. Always gives great advice and tries to come up with creative ways to fix the problem at the lowest cost. I took my car in on Tuesday night and dropped off keys in lock box and the mechanic called me at 9a.m. on Wednesday to tell me that it will be cheaper to fix my car than initially thought it was to fix. The mechanic was promt and fixed my car and changed my oil and it was ready by noon. I have found a new and good mechanic in Newburgh.

Do not take your vehicle to this shop!!!! I had an appointment for a front alignment at 2pm. The vehicle was not given back until 2 hours and 45 mins later. They also DID NOT tell me they take my vehicle to a different shop because they do NOT HAVE THE MACHINERY for a alignment!!!!They were to specifically not to roll the drivers window down. The other shop(who I still have no clue is) rolled the window down. NO ONE told the owner of the vehicle why it was taking over 2 1/2 hours to fix. The shop owner made the problem aware 10mins before the vehicle back at 4:45pm.When I drove home the vehicle is now pulling the opposite direction. I let my hand off the wheel and it goes an inch to the right immediately!I called for a refund they said they would have to look at it and do more work. He did take $20 off of the original price, but my car is still not fixed and a lot of time was waisted waiting for a problem that should not have happened.I obviously not want them to touch my vehicle again. I made them aware that they did not tell me they sub contract the work out and this should be told to the customer.If you would like to be in the dark of where you vehicle is and was is being done to it then take it here.

The work is high quality. The workers are all kind and honest. I am very ignorant about cars. They gave always treated my like a thinking human. They also have acknowledged my tight budget and done what they could to work within it.

Newburgh Automotive is the only place I will take my vehicles. They are honest and let you know what's wrong without trying to jack up prices or make you think more is wrong than is. Being a woman, it's hard to find a place that does that.

Not responsive! Not even the slightest bit.My truck has been there since Monday, no call to let me know what's wrong with vehicle what so ever... so I call and ask about my vehicle on Wednesday, i said "hi this is Vee my Yukon has been at your shop since Monday and no one has called me with an update." Literally, no joke the guy said "Well ma'am, ***cough, clears throat*** I can tell ya whatsa wrong with ya truck ma'am it has a flat tire" (all a matter a fact-ish)Needless to say it was towed in for not running. Not a flat tire! Ugh

Took my car there to get it fixed had to take it back 4 times, and just today found another part they botched up wouldn't and won't take vehicles there in the future
