Very nice and knowledgeable. I was told I had a transmission problem. They looked at it, and within 10 minutes told me it wasn't transmission problems. Plus, he only charged me some canned goods for a food pantry. I highly recommend.

Called to set up an appointment to get my transmission looked at, as it s covered by Jaspers warranty. The owner was rude and short with me. I ended up ending the call to get more information that was requested. And when I called back my phone number was blocked!

Outstanding service! Jerry and Jeremiah spent more than an hour discussing and troubleshooting my vehicle with me. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and candid. They explained everything in layman's terms. To me, Mitchell Transmission is the only place to have my vehicles serviced!! Job well done, gentlemen!

Jeremiah and the crew did an amazing job, Jeremiah was very clear and honest from the beginning about the scope of work required. In a world of over promising and under delivering for timelines Jeremiah seems to go the other way. My service was initially estimated at 10 days but the crew was able to complete the work in about 6 days, with clear communication from Jeremiah along the way. When some follow up work was needed (no fault of Jeremiah or his crew) Jeremiah went far above and beyond what I expected to help fix the problem. He runs an honest shop with quality service. I don't think you can find a better transmission shop around.Service: Transmission

My car was having problems when I was driving & since I know little to nothing about cars I pulled off the interstate & was prepared to never drive my car again. (Yes a bit dramatic) I saw Mitchell Transmission s sign across the street and called them hoping they could give me some kind of answer since they were close. They helped me within minutes of calling & it was a quick & easy fix & they were so incredibly helpful. Customer service was a 10/10 & Jeremiah was incredibly helpful.

I went out here this morning and man did I learn a lot... Jeremiah came out and took my truck for a drive... When he returned he stated the issue was not the transmission but an electrical demon... He recommended a guy to have check it out...Now when I say he stated, it wasn't a diagnosis... It was his professional opinion and years of experience... Very friendly, very professional but also down to earth attitude...Even though I don't drive a new truck (Its 94 GMC) he treated me well and offered up what he felt would lead me into the right direction... What I will say is that 2 other transmission places wouldn't take the time like Jeremiah did...All they wanted to do was have me bring it so they can diagnosis it at an unbelievable labor rate... Thank you Jeremiah for helping out a retired disabled person who's truck is not the prettiest but it's all mine...Don't hesitate folks, go see Jeremiah and the crew and thank me later...

My 2014 Chevy Silverado s transportation was not right and it affected driving comfort engine rpm. I took the truck to Mitchells and they made it right. I bought the truck new and once again it ships and drives like new. The work was spelled out clearly and was accomplished quickly. They ll get your vehicle back working properly as soon as they can. Came to Mitchell Transmission with a request of a rebuild on an early year 1982 Chevy S10 transmission. Quoted price was an exceptional value; once they determined the truck had an early first model year transmission they immediately communicated potential delays but stood firm in their quoted price. Over all, the work was done in a timely manner given their challenges with parts needed for a nearly 40yr old vehicle. Highly recommend Mitchell Transmission and their team! The whole experience was great, the work is excellent. Jeremiah and staff are the best in the area, hands down!Service: Transmission

The old Ford needed a new E40D transmission. The shop told me the 3 options I had and the advantages/disadvantages for each option. We ended up going with a Jasper replacement. They even checked all of the accessory parts that go on the transmission. I ended up needed 2 new plugs. I am glad they checked because I didn't even think to ask them to do that. The truck made a 250 mile trip the same week I got it back. They were the best shop I have ever worked with and their customer service is top notch. I couldn't thank them enough.

Great place!! Service was great and explained everything in detail that was done to repair my transmission and the actual cost was $100 less than the estimate. Honest business when they could've just charged the estimate. I will recomend then to as many people as possible.

I took my 2007 Trailblazer to Mitchell Transmission to have them diagnose and rebuild my transmission. My vehicle had no reverse and it was obvious that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. The owner of the business was too lazy to get up from his desk to look at my vehicle, in order to properly diagnose my vehicle. All he wanted to do was sell me the work. I left disgusted with the experience. I was recommended by a coworker to go to Do it Right Transmission. I went there and they agreed that I needed a transmission rebuild but they took the time to look at my vehicle and to scan my vehicle at no charge to make sure there were no other issues. They rebuilt my transmission and I was very happy with their repairs and their price was even cheaper than Mitchell Transmission. Wherever you go for transmission work I recommend that you NOT go to Mitchell Transmission.

Jeremiah took great care of me. When I brought my car in he explained two possibilities. But he got onto it stumbled upon a third possibility. A squirrel had chewed though the sensor wires so he fixed 8t promptly and only charged me for an hour I'd labor.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Mitchell is not out of business and I have found that Jerry the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. He help us by identifying a problem with a truck that we thought was in the transmission but he found the problem was due to having oversize tires. He didn't charge us anything and having the computer reflashed by the dealer fixed the problem. I highly recommend.

Highly recommend. Worked our vehicle in when they were completely covered up. Took car of the problem in record time and stuck with the price he guesstimated over the phone. Couldn t be happier. Would be confident in sending anyone there.

The best place to go for transmission work. They come highly recommended by my mechanic. They rebuilt my wife's cruze transmission and explained and showed me the issues. They are highly knowledgeable, very fairly priced and have been in the area for a long time. They also are the best place go get Jasper transmissions which come with a 3 year 100,000 mile Warrenty.

Paid $1700 in March for a rebuild on my e4od 3 weeks later trans started to slip took it back and the told me since I didn t have my original receipt, they had it and told me they remembered me but since I didn t have my original receipt that their lawyer said they didn t have to honor the warranty. 100% they are a scam and wouldn t recommend them to my worst enemyService: Transmission

I am always on the lookout for a business for automotive repairs that I can tell my friends about and I've found one! The gentlemen working at this location are forthright and not condescending to women who know nothing about cars. I thought I needed an entirely new transmission and they saved me around $1600.

These guys know their stuff & very helpful. I have had 3 different vehicle's transmissions rebuilt here F250 has 100K, Envoy has 45K, Silverado has about 20K.

Our PT Cruiser's transmission was having problems and we were recommended to Mitchell-Built Transmissions from our regular mechanic. We took it by and got a quote and the people were AWESOME! They were honest, very professional, and didn't charge us a thing for checking out the problem (other places did). However, they rebuild transmissions instead of patch them, and we were hoping for a temporary patch (which was foolish on our part). We drove it to another transmission shop and as soon as we got it in the parking lot, it stopped working. I'm talking, won't-shift-into-anything-but-neutral kind of stopped working. That transmission place quoted us a few hundred dollars higher than Mitchell Built and said we'd have to have it rebuilt as well.So, we had it towed back to Mitchell-Built and in the midst of all this, we heard NUMEROUS great reviews on this company. The service and friendliness at Mitchell-Built was unmatched and I'd never heard anyone speak so highly of a business before. Friends from our church, our previous mechanic, people that delivered things to my husband's place of employment...everyone vouched for Mitchell-Built. And rightly so!Mitchell-Built Transmissions got our vehicle on a Thursday, I believe, and they finished it by the next Tuesday (that's Friday, Monday, and part of Tuesday...not even three days!). It runs like a dream! They even offer financing through PFC and they don't rush the job; they get it built right. They have an A with the Better Business Bureau and I don't know of any other place that I would trust for great prices, excellent repairs, and friendly service.It was truly a God thing that we got sent to Mitchell-Built and we praise God for His providence in the situation. The people at Mitchell-Built treated us like family and they are some of the FEW Christian businesses we've found that actually lived out what they said they believed in their business practices. I WILL be recommending them to anyone I know that has transmission problems. Thank you, Mitchell-Built!

Called establishment to ask questions about setting an appointment. I m from out of town and googled transmission repair shops and the previous business that had this address popped up. So I called and asked a question and the states they went out of business 6 years ago and hung up. Extremely rude to a potential customer. I wouldn t recommend anyone to pay money for rude service.

Our van is the only transportation my daughter has due to her physical limitations and Mitchell worked with us so we could have it back as soon as possible. They had it back to us in less than 24 hours. Now that's customer service.
