Would have been 5 stars if they continued to honor another competitor's pricing, which they had been doing. Different shift/crew than my normal weekend visits. I won't be back. The service was always fast and friendly, but guilt-tripping me into an extra $40 for an oil change means I will be doing it myself or taking to the nearby dealer that WILL do a full synthetic change for fifty bucks. You made an exorbitant profit from me once because I was there and wanted it off my plate. Won't happen again. I won't be bringing in my girlfriend's car again, either.

I m leaving a review because every time I come here the workers are great. Things move fast, they hold conversation with you, and do the job right. It s no reason to give less than 5 stars. I appreciate the hard work and quick, courteous service.

I went there today and told them I needed an oil change. They were weary because everything " looked clean" . I told them to check my tire pressure and change my oil. They did none of it and charged me 85 dollars for what was supposed to be an oil change. Will not go back here.

They have been great! Prices are reasonable and I hardly have to wait in line but if I do it s not long because they re quick.

Took over an hour and 45 mins to get through less than three cars. I had three different people work on my car at different times and I kept hearing workers ask each other what was going on in my bay since no one was seemingly paying attention to what part of the process I was currently in. There would be four people running around working, but then stopping what they were doing to have a full conversation about their personal lives with one another, then all of them would disappear (not even exaggerating like no one was in sight for a long time) and not touch either vehicle in either bay for SEVERAL minutes. This happened at least twice. I waited for ten minutes after I paid and sat there with no one visibly working AGAIN when someone finally came over to show me my oil level and guide me out. Why did I have to wait for 10+ mins when it was all already done?? Where are all the employees going halfway thru working on a car? Just frustrating seeing a generalized lack of efficiency when I have things I need to do. Not sure if I ll be back at this location until staff is better trained or rotated out.

The staff here is friendly enough, but the competence leaves a little to be desired. I wound up having to leave without service after 45 minutes. I was asked to shuffle around again in line for the third time. I only had one car ahead of me within five minutes of arriving. They had one bay tied up the entire time with a truck that appeared to either be getting multiple services or some kind of service that they struggled to perform. That s the downside of the up-selling of the services, the instant oil change service that is the core of the business can t be performed. I wasn t expecting it to take an hour and a half with one car ahead of me. Had I been informed, I would ve left immediately to return another day. I don t enjoy having my time wasted, so I will simply go elsewhere. I encourage these folks to build a better communication skills. If you let your customers know what they are to expect, you ll have happier customers instead of former customers.

These guys are so nice and even act like they enjoy their job ! Which always makes a customer happy to see their employees this way. I hope they are appreciated. Even watched a grumpy man yell at them, & they were very respectful to him. I felt bad for the guys. As they were so busy, and I did not see one guy loafing around. I really appreciated their professionalism.

UPDATE 01-25-2023Valvoline's corporate response below asked that I email them with the provided case number, so they could resolve my complaint. I sent that email on 10-26-2022 @ 12:11 PM Eastern time. They never responded.It is meaningless to extend that offer of resolution, but to never actually contact me. Consider this as an additional reason to take your business elsewhere.It has taken me very long to post this review, but I think it s important to make others aware of my poor experience.My daughter had her oil changed here. I assumed that all was good. A month later I checked her oil (something I do with all my vehicles). I was shocked to see that it was well past the full line (by almost as much as the distance between low and full on the dipstick).She was able to take it back there a few days later. They drained the oil and refilled. When she got back home, I checked it again. It was overfilled by nearly the same amount. I took the car back there and they did a complete oil change, including the filter. When she came home again, it was again overfilled by the same amount. I removed the drain plug and removed some of the oil myself as I figured that was the only way to resolve the problem.The correct amount of oil is shown on the invoice, so this made me wonder if my car (for some reason) held a different amount of oil, or if something was wrong with the dipstick (wrong dipstick for my vehicle). I knew the only way to answer that question was to know exactly how much oil was put into the engine. I did that by performing the next oil change myself. It took 5.1 quarts as recommended by Kia.If Valvoline Instant Oil Change can t do the main thing they re in business to do, they should not be in business. Overfilling engine oil is harmful to the engine, and far worse than underfilling.I can t explain how this happened, but it did. Three times!! I also don t know why they didn t check the oil level on the dipstick as this would have shown them too much oil was in the engine.I have no axe to grind with this business, but it s worth sharing my experience to protect others and their vehicles.Service: Oil change

Place is awesome. Quick oil change plus fluid top off. Recommends things you may need in the future or then to enhance your cars performance but won't feed it down your throat. Gives you a list of things you will or do need if you choose to decline. So very much worth it. Plus you can bring your own oil and filter to drop the price which is always great

Brandyn greeted me immediately, walking out to my vehicle in freezing weather. He gave me a reasonable price, wait time (15 minutes), & explained a couple of lighted icons on my dashboard, which they could address once I was being serviced. Carter greeted me inside the service bay area, pleasantly. Very thorough knowledgeable, keeping me abreast every step of the way...checked filters, even a hard to get to cabin filter, fixed air pressure in tires, (Alex inflated my tires properly). These three young guys were not missing a step, working quickly and efficiently! I highly recommend this location.

These guys did an awesome job. However, the price of the full synthetic oil change is way to high. It's actually cheaper to take my car to the dealership

I went to get my tires aired up for free. They did a great job, were very kind and courteous, and I didn't have to wait long at all. I have never gotten an oil change there but my experience was excellent with them today. Thank you for the help!

They were friendly. They were fast. They had a awesome price for oil change. Traveling it was great to just pull in and get it changed and took no longer than filling my gas tank up, honestly. I marked them and every time I travel I'll stop there. Great place!

Expect friendly attitudes here as employees are courteous and take serious attention to your vehicle. They will offer to perform maintenance on tasks that you may have overlooked. In my case it was my serpentine belt, but don't mistake this for pushy sales as it is rather a convenience of bringing to your attention of maintenance that you may not have even thought about.Staff was more than willing to show me the results of the inspection and took their time in educating me on vehicle maintenance. All in a time efficient manner.

Great experience. I've taken both my cars there and both times I have been greeted by friendly workers. They talk about options but don't push them. They'll show you condition of the part they're replacing as well to allow you to make your own decision. Price is fair for full synthetic and conventional oil.Don't forget about Valvoline's coupon on their website!

First time there they said they didn t have the oil filter for my car then whew they found it! Second time I waited in line for over an hour only to find out they didn t have it this time. Ok they said they would be expecting a shipment soon. 2 weeks later still no oil filter. They said you can go buy one and we will use it . Really? So I have to go buy own oil filter because a company that does nothing BUT oil changes doesn t have it? So, yes I went and bought my own because I couldn t wait any longer and I had already paid for the oil change through Groupon with Valvoline. If the auto parts store has it, then why don t you? So here I sit in line again (going on an hour and a half now which there were only two cars in front of me) with my own oil filter in hand. Instant oil change ? Dream on.The staff has been great and nice so far, but Valvoline you need to figure something out. The wait time is horrible and I will find another place to do it.Consumers if you pull in and see 2 cars in each row waiting for their turn plan on waiting(with no way to get out) at least an hour and a half maybe 2 hours.Service: Oil change

Very fast. I was able to stay in my car while getting my oil change. They also topped off my fluids. Didn't expect it to run $45 though. Learned they are second highest oil change facility around this area. Will shop around next time.

So so I guess. But VERY slow. Only two cars in from of me when I got here and took an hour to get in the bay. Then 15 additional minutes to get my order placed. Sigh. Maybe I will be all done and out of here with a total time spent of an hour 45 like it currently looks. And this was the location in southern Indiana with the best reviews. Didn t they used to be the home of the ten minute oils change?

Fast service! Friendly staff. On the pricey side thi. Synthetic oil and a $10 off coupon...still cost 60 bucks. Great if you're in a hurry like me, and dont want to make an appointment. Just show up like I did. I went on a Sunday and arrived 10 minutes after they opened. A 5 minute wait, and my oil change was complete in another 15 minutes.

I have come here to this location for a while. There s not been one time that the staff here have not been professional & courteous. They do NOT pressure me to purchase more than I need, but they do show me and educate me to let me make the decisions myself. They are quick, efficient and so very pleasant. I just can t say enough about these guys (gal :) ) I recommend this Valvoline location 100%, you will be as pleased as I am and you ll drive out of your way for your routine visits, just like I do :)
