I had my vehicle serviced at this valvoline. I was very impressed with the speed and quality of service. Everyone was very professional. I could tell this crew cared about the work they were doing. I would like to thank David, Ian, Aiden, Nathan, Cody, Jack, Aaron, and Joey. You guys did a fantastic job. Keep up the great work.

We recently moved to Indiana last year and my wife has used this location once when we first moved and I used it a second time the week of December 16th. After getting her oil changed she had a deer hit her car on January 1st and as I was looking for damage around the front fender I noticed the engine cover was missing. The only place it had been was to this valvoline twice and inbetween the two changes I used her car to jump start mine and I know the engine cover was on at the time. I called this location after I noticed the problem and spoke with the associate in charge for the day. He told me he was not the manager and he would let them know and leave a note for them to call me back when they came into work. I left my number and have not heard back, needless to say this has ruined our experience with valvoline and will not be returning for future business.EDITWas going to change the oil myself I have discovered that they stripped the head of the oil drain plug too and did not inform us. Needless to say valvoline has lost a customer for life.

I've been here twice in the last year. They couldn't help me either time due to issues with my car. I appreciated them telling me they didn't feel comfortable removing certain things or doing an oil change because of fear of damaging my van.They told me the things they noticed and wrote it down for me to take to someone else. They didn't charge me either time and honestly saved me money from telling me problems with my car. I really appreciate the kindness that I've seen in each person that works there.I like that they took the time to explain questions I had and wanted to actually help me because they knew I was clueless when it comes to cars.The Friday night crew was really helpful. Thanks guys.

State street location has been consistent and reliable over the course of many years. They don't try to talk you into things you don't need - just practical recommendations based on industry standards (mileage, typically). Wait time ranges from nothing at all to reasonable for most days of the week.

Aaron was extremely professional and friendly. What I appreciated most was watching him interact with the younger, less professional employees. Joey is such an amazing guy and employee! He always does a thorough job explaining things, he s always honest, he s always polite and he always has a smile on his face and it s genuine. Even after having a rough day just talking to Joey for the duration of my oil change he turned my day around and cheered me up. DO NOT GO TO THE VALVOLINE INSTANT OIL CHANGE ON STATE STREET!!! I can't believe they did this! On the last Saturday in September they did an EPIC FAIL on changing out the fluid on my rear diff.....they CROSS THREADED THE DRAIN PLUG!!! How in hell do you do that??? What's the shop's method for replacing a drain plug??? Maybe they need to get 10 more hours of schooling in installing a bolt??? NO EXCUSES!!! They told me no worries when they admitted fault, but the incompetent corporate store in Lexington wouldn't pay for the damages in a timely manner either. I really did save them THOUSANDS of dollars, because if I wasn't observant of my vehicles all of the fluid would have leaked out and my whole axel would have burned up! So, terrible experience as a whole from this oil changer all the way up to corporate store. I had to babysit BOTH entities to ensure this ordeal was taken care of in a timely manner, and still, it took too long! A loyal customer of 8 years, and now ZERO TRUST! Anyone reading this heed my advice....don't let non ASE certified people touch your drive line! I told them I'd retain their services, but better yet, I'd be a moron if I did!!!

Last people to perform the oil change. Then tell me after almost an hour that they cannot perform the oil change cause the bolt to the drip pan is rusted and broken.They were the last ones to change the oil!I leave with no oil change after an hour of being there get home. The bolt on my drip pan is not rusted nor is it broken.Apparently they were too lazy or incompetent to break the bolt loose! Go anywhere but to this location!! Someone pulled up while I was waiting and they performed an oil change and her car was leaking! They made her wait in line to get the oil filter (replaced or tightened) and topped off) they do not know what they are doingService: Oil change

Came in for an oil change and the crew told me my oil was clean and I didn t need it. I appreciate their honesty and not charging me just because they can. They topped off my fluids and did my tires and the whole time they were dancing to 80 s music and having a blast in this crazy heat! I ll definitely come back. Very much over due for an oil change.. they were a bit busy but explained I would be after one other car and to pull over. The worker found one of my belts was stopping and starting and that I needed to get that checked out .. it was something they don t do . I am thankful they took time to tell me this and so sine I ll go get it taken care of.Turns out the belt was supposed to do that but I am glad they told me in case it was something.I didn t have any coupons so they offered to give me 10% off. They were not pushy about the add ons.

I went to have my oil changed at about 5 p.m. on a Sunday which unbeknownst to me was almost closing time, The three Men that changed my oil never once complained or said anything and did an excellent job at trying to explain everything and take care of my car. These gentlemen got under the hood of my car, did a thorough job and fixed the air pressure in all my tires and went above and beyond to be kind at the same time....I commend all 3 employees for their customer service, attention to detail and I thank them for their service!

Highly unprofessional. Experienced three long waits after checking first with the staff that they could service my car. They told me yes and I waited almost 45 minutes only to wait another 30 minutes while 2-3 staff fiddled with my car only to tell me they could not change it. I left only to discover they forgot to put the oil cap back on and luckily I found this out that night. I took it back and the manager did clean it up as best he could and add some oil. There was still oil all over the place on my hood, etc and they did not even offer to wash the car. I went in again a month later and asked before waiting if I could pay them to change my low beam headlamp. The tech said they had it and could so I waited about 30 minutes and they started that only to make me wait another 45 minutes tell me they could not do it. I had also called and was told they had my filter in stock and when I got there they did not have one.Service: Oil change

Never go here. They failed to put the splash guard back on correctly on my wife's car and when the wind caught it it got damaged by the road. We opened a claim and they were supposedly going to fix it, but they ghosted us for almost 2 months.*Edit* They are trying to help us get it taken care of. I'll update my review once it's resolved

Arrived on site waited long time to get someone to show up to tell me which lane I needed to be in . Oil tech pointed to an area beside parking spaces . He then was really nasty as to how he responded after I didn t move fast enough . Won t be back horrible customer service . It was obvious he was way busier talking to girlfriend and didn t want to be bothered . She was parked beside service area and was messing up the flow of customers in more ways than one .Service: Oil change

I took my son s car in today for an oil change. The tech (I wish I knew his name) let me know the oil didn t need to be changed for another 1000-1500 miles, even though the mileage indicated it was time for a change. He was so honest, and could have just changed it regardless and I would have never been the wiser.Highly recommend!

Came here because the app said 0 minutes wait time. When I arrived, there was one vehicle being worked on and one empty bay. The tech came out and told me it would be 40 minutes until they could start on my truck, so I left. When the convenience of speed is taken out of the equation, I d rather go elsewhere.

I went in for oil change and tire rotation on my company truck with fleet card. The manager David got the oil changed and said the fleet company didn't approve tire rotation. When I looked at receipt later I figured out why. They changed air filter, wipers (which were changed last oil change), and a cabin air filter (which doesn't exist on this truck). All this was done with fleet company approval without asking me. 244.93 total for an oil change and didn't even do what I asked for. I wouldn't take my personal vehicles to any valvoline and I won't take my work truck back to this one. You have to watch them close, valvoline tries to upsale all the time but this time they took advantage.

They refused to give me an oil change because my speedometer doesn't work. They said I had slush in my oil cap, I went to a friend to have the oil changed no problem, they had said it's a liability because I make payments.

I was used to excellent service in Frankfort, so my two visits here were worse than disappointing. I can't imagine a more crooked Valvoline oil center. First time, they just gave me a hard way to go on everything, including the cash I paid them. They were worse than rude. The next time they insisted on rotating tires, and took it to a bay I couldn't watch. When I got it back, the new tires were obviously removed and older ones put on, and the alignment was way off. The result was tires going bad almost immediately. Since this is an ongoing problem, and more than just a few things, management has to be responsible. The manager is corrupt to the max. The other Valvoline centers are great, but this one is one that is out to lie, cheat, steal, and destroy.
