Got an oil change from another business and was informed I had a stripped oil pan. Since I have a trip tomorrow, I got on the phone. Robbie answered and was able to immediately get me in which I appreciate greatly! No interference with my trip and worked out the best deal he could offer. Got my car in and up as soon as I came in. Greatly appreciate the urgency the whole crew took to make sure I was well taken care of! Well clean establishment as well as you can see

I usually go to the Meineke location in St. Matthew's because they have always been kind and trustworthy, so when I moved to Indiana I assumed I would be treated the same way. The staff there is certainly kind with great customer service, but their prices adjusted depending on who I was speaking to and that is an issue. First I was quoted 69.99 for an oil change and when I got there they said it would be 89.99 for an oil change. Excuse me but 90 dollars for a simple oil change is robbery. Fortunately they did honor the quoted price which I did appreciate. However, I also needed a quote for a leaky tire and the first person I spoke with quoted me 49.99 to repair the tire, which again is bananas in my opinion. When I got there for my appointment I asked again what the charge for the tire repair would be and that person said it would only be 25 dollars. Literally half the cost. So after agreeing to THAT price I had both services done at a price I was happy with and also in a timely manner. Obviously the most concerning thing here is that they seem to charge different prices depending on who you're speaking to at the time and that is certainly an issue. Overall, I did appreciate the kind staff and I'm happy with the service and final price.

Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and they are very efficient. Many other garages I had called had 2-4 week waits. Meineke got my vehicle in, inspected, and serviced all same day and gave me a quote in a timely manner before starting work on the vehicle.

This was probably the most straightforward auto service I've experienced. I really appreciated the email with the details of their assessment (with pictures!) and the emailed estimate with every charge broken down. I was able to approve/decline the services on my own time without feeling pressured. They had to replace brakes that my previous auto shop severally messed up.I will be returning for future service!

I ve gone to this Meineke for at least 3 solid years & they have *never* let me down. Besides good mechanical work, the customer service is beyond expectation and they are always patient when listening to my (non-mechanic) explanations of the car s damages.They are top-notch, get the job done in good timing, and do excellent work.Super grateful for these guys.

Had a new to me used vehicle in for routine scheduled maintenance. Manager Robbie and the guys were friendly, professional, efficient, and provided detailed communication. Got me in & out in one day - Appreciate the care & we'll be back!

We had taken our car here last year and had a great experience but this time not so good. They pushed hard to up sell me. I took my car in for the brakes to be looked at and the first thing they said when they called was spark plugs. I thought they must be calling the wrong person. On top of that they changed my oil on accident . He asked when he called what about your oil change I said I just had one Then when we went to pick up the car he was like you will see a refund amount for an oil change I hate to leave a bad review as the people are very nice but this was not a professional experience at all this time.

Great service, the man at the front desk was very helpful and I was given a discount because it was my first time there. Got a brake change done and it took less than a hour to get done and they gave my car a full inspection. 10/10 for sure

Was told that there wasn't a cost to give an estimate on what it would cost to repair my muffler. When I went in he said it was $69. When I ask about how much it would cost he said it would be $500 and that they did not do estimates free. I said I'd go somewhere else as I was leaving he laughed at me. I went somewhere else and had it done for a hundred bucks. Thanks for nothing Meineke.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Robbie was quick getting our truck diagnosed and fixed in the same day. The pricing was reasonable, and the staff was transparent with it. Will be returning again.

I have great experience with Meineke care. Chris is amazing guy! Very nice guy. He was able to communicate me on time and explained my car issues in detail. Very respectful! I got my car back in a half day! I am very satisfied with the service you guys provided! Meineke on Charlestown road. New Albany Indiana did a oil change for my car. They were great in all areas! Polite, friendly, great prices (I did a Groupon offer) and got a $75 oil change for only $40.

So crazy expensive. 167 for to diagnose a dead battery ? almost 300 to change a battery, 100 for an oil change , 200, to change out spark plugs, the costs are crazy - the guy quoted me 1050 on the phone but then tried to charge me 1300 when i got there. they threw in a bunch of unnecessary stuff. if you have to go to meineke for speed or convenience - be very clear about what you want and what you don t want - haggle with them - ask for discounts - ask for cash discounts - advocate for yourself - otherwise they will take advantage of you and spend your money like you ve got tons of it.seems like they did decent work! fingerscrossed i don t have to go back soon cause i can t afford it .

Robbie and Chris are FANTASTIC. I was in a really, really bad spot and they took the time to talk to me like people, not like car guys. I felt more respected than I have at any other mechanic, ever. That would have been enough for me to leave a good review already, but the difference in my car is SHOCKING. It's like a completely different car, this is the best shape it's been in since I've owned it. These are my car guys now, period. Thank you so much!

I would give zero stars if I could. 6 months ago I took my car in for 1 tire. They allegedly did an inspection that I did not request and came back with a list of things my car "needed" and it would cost over $600. I took my key and went to another place and got the 1 tire I needed without any other needs. Then this morning, my wife took our other car to this Meineke location for new front brake pads and rotors. She texted me that they said our car needed new calipers to go along with the brake pads and rotors and it would cost $750. I promptly made an appointment at another place and told her to leave that Meineke location. The other place said the calipers were fine and repaired the brakes for just over $300. I advise anyone in this area not take their car to this Meineke location. There are too many car care places to go to. This Meineke location is clearly in the business of scams and overcharging for repairs not needed.

Got me in fast and did great work. They didn't try to upsell or pressure me into anything. The manager was friendly but not pushy. Got brakes and rotors and an oil change.

Great Great Great service!! I recommend people visit this shop for their repairs. I know most places will have their uos and downs, but that comes with any territory, however, this place does its best to meet the customers financial needs, and respectfully still gives great service!

Went for an oil change for my high mile car. They do an inspection of your vehicle. The issues were explained to me, and estimate for repairs. No high pressure sales pitch, very professional and courteous. Chris was my service advisor, very nice young man.

This is my second experience with the Meineke on Charlestown Rd in New Albany, IN. Starting with the manager Robbie Long, customer service is #1. They showed me kindness and respect from the start. My car is not brand new or beautiful, but they treated it as if it were. They took care to make sure I had what I needed to be able to pay for the repairs on my car. I will never take my car any where else to have work done, as long as Robbie and his crew are there. Thank you all for making this a great experience.Service: Brakes

Very helpful, very honest and friendly. Great service! I would have given 5 stars but everything now a days is expensive. But luckily I was approved for a Meineke credit card and it gave my 6 months no interest and a 100 dollar rebate. So, I'll give 4 and half stars!!

Edit: I had put a one star before the edit but they fixed the issue I was having for 50% off which saved me a pretty penny. They reached out almost immediately after I left the review to see what they could do to help fix the issue described in the original review. Below was my original review I left of them.I took my 2016 Honda Civic to them on 10-14-23 for what I thought was a suspension issue. Keep in mind, I m not a car guy so I really didn t know but that s what my buddies kept telling me it probably was. Anyways, I brought my car in at 9am and they run the diagnostic test and that is done around 11am. They then sent me a list of thing that they said I should get done and they told me that it would help fix my issue I was having so I gave them the go ahead to work on it. They start and finish working on it at around 2:30pm - 3pm. That s when I get a call from them saying it s done and I can come pick it up, but they also said that they fixed everything but the engine mounts. Again, I didn t know what that was at the time but I came to find out, that the only real problem with my car and those mounts. So I go pick up my car, the guy up explains to me what the engine mounts are and then proceeds to charge me $951.67 for things they fixed and then told me it would be another $550 to fix the engine mounts. To sum it up, I got charged almost $1000 for them to fix things on my car that I didn t come in for them to fix and then they tried to milk more money out of me. This is by far the worst experience I ve ever had a shop and I feel completely scammed. I would not recommend going to these guys at all.

Well I was very disappointed with my experience. They told me I needed a coolant flush of engine then they said we need to change your radiator. So I paid 325 for diagnostics and a flush and that was not even the problem. I told them to forget the 500 dollar radiator and drove an hour and a half home with no problem. Thanks Meineke

I've been coming to this location for a couple of years and Robbie has always been helpful & professional, and the service has always been great. This time I took in my mom's car for brake work (pads & rotors) and a few other things, and they didn't disappoint.
