They always do a great job on finding out what is wrong with my car and are very nice people. And unlike the dealership, they don't try to tell you other things are wrong when they aren't, just to get more money out of you. I will continue to go back to Byrne's because of their service.

While my vehicle still has problems, I don't believe it's their fault. However, I was given false information, but I am going to believe that it was not on purpose. Dawn, the owner, seems like a nice person, and I want to believe she is as straightforward and honest as she seems.

DON'T BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO BYRNE'S GARAGE! I found they give very poor customer service and questionable repair work. I spoke with Dawn at one time and felt she was not only condescending but also unprofessional and argumentative. Initially I took my car to Byrne's Garage for a check engine light and an oil change in May. Dawn told me I needed belts replaced so took it back in July and noticed in the meantime there was an oil leak. I took my car back again in September and was told I needed a new oil pan which would be over $500. I then took my car to my family's reliable mechanic in Louisville who said there was simply a plug that was leaking so a new oil pan wasn't necessary which saved me hundreds of dollars. I am an honest, trustworthy person and I had enough to pay for more repairs but who wants to spend a lot more money when it's not needed?!

Everyone I encountered was very nice. I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars because they had my car for a full day and overnight. I do realize that I called day of but if same day service isn't possible tell me when I call. Also the seat was all jacked up. I still haven't gotten it back how I had it. And lastly someone put dirty hands on the front passenger seat so I need to find something to get that clean.

So they scheduled my daughter that's hours from home in college there in New Albany, only to call her up to say they overbooked after it was too late to have it looked at by another shop in time to get it fixed before it completely messed up her schedule for school on Monday as well as her work in Louisville. Now she very well might fall behind in class and it puts her job in jeopardy. These folks couldn't fight their way out a wet paper bag. If I can't trust you to write my name in a book under a certain appointment time, you for sure aren't getting my business to look at my car. Shameful

A little pricey but well worth it, the employees are polite. The boss (puppy) is very well mannered. If you can afford the maintenance price (for whatever your vehicle needs) I would highly recommend this place. I was taken care of within 48 hours with a diagnostics/ new alternator and belt replacement I plan on continuing service at this location moving forward and recommending anyone I know moving forward THANKS GUYS FOR THE SERVICE!

My husband s company always uses Byrne s for all their work trucks and is very satisfied. I had taken my car for an oil change at a regular oil change place and they told me that one of my belts was stoping and starting and I should get it looked at. So I went to Byrne s and one of the gentlemen looked at it and explained it was the a/c belt and it was supposed to do that. I was so thankful nothing was wrong! He said.. don t take your car to that oil change place that they have had to repair 2 engines because of them.

Can't say enough about this auto repair shop and the staff here. They do exceptional work and honor their guarantee and warranties. Love coming here to visit Herman (the yorkie) as well. Highly recommend. Big shout out to all the employees here!

We take our personal, family and business vehicles here. Byrne's Garage is honest, reasonable, reliable and provide excellent customer service. Their quality of work is above and beyond the competition. I highly recommend Byrne's to anyone that wants good, honest and hard working people that will be truthful, fair and will never let you down or tell you a bunch of nonsense repairs that are not necessary. Everyone we have recommended to Byrnes have been highly satisfied and are now loyal customers.

I just had my car worked on today at Byrnes for the second time this year. My car's old and like any older car it has issues. Again, I will continue to be a customer at Byrnes. I used to go to Marvin's for all of my auto repair needs. After hearing they were no longer in business, I took my shop to Byrne's and I am so happy I did! They were informative, helpful, and pricing was fair! Byrne's will be my go to from now on! Thank you so much guys!!

I've used Byrne's Garage for the last 27 years. If it can be fixed on a car, they have fixed it on one of mine. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Honest people doing great work that they stand behind. After being told this issue wouldn't be take more than a day or two to fix, they kept my car for a several days with reassurances it would be fixed soon. Not because they couldn't figure out the problem but because of excuse after excuse as to why their "guy" who could fix the issue wasn't available. (He was on vacation, the weather was too hot to work, he was sick, he is working elsewhere, etc.).When that guy finally did work on my car, it took him a few hours to determine a grounding wire wasn't touching the car properly. After all that, they tried to charge me a small fortune for the repair. The woman who I dealt with, who identified as the owner was condescending, snarky, and rude. I'll never use them again.---Update: I corrected a few errors after the owner berated me. I've responded to her remarks. Interesting how the negative reviews are always the reviewer's faultYou want to know why I waited to post? Because I thought perhaps it was a bad day for all of us and wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. That was until recently when I had 2 other friends deal with your shop (yes I warned them) and they had similar complaints of taking too much time to diagnose, being lied to about repair time, and charging a lot for the repair.I had a grounding wire not touching the right spot. I get that's not easy to diagnose but a week? It's a good thing you are the owner. No other company would tolerate your attitude.

This was my second time visiting this shop. One thing that stood out to me was the clear transparent pricing. After calling 4 shops around me, these folks offered up front pricing on the repairs needed on my SUV and truck. Services were performed in neat and timely manner as well! The service advisors were friendly and didn't up sell or push any extra services on me. Thank you guys and gals again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My husband had told me about this place and made me an appointment. My air conditioner wasn t working in my SUV. They were extremely busy when I got there. I knew that was a good sign. Of course my air conditioner worked when they were checking it out. They still checked out the Freon and did some other things. They suggested what they would do if it were their car. No pressure. I just asked them to go ahead as I have a trip to make in a couple days and I wanted to make sure it would not go out on me again. Im so glad they suggested as my car is blowing cooler air than I have had since it s been hot this year. They replaced some kind of clutch as it had been noted as going out on the year and make of my vehicle. Thanks so much.

I've been a customer for 15+ years and would not take my vehicle anywhere else. Down home people giving you quality service with a smile and are always concerned that you are satisfied with the quality of service that you're getting. They are fast with the service, and fair with their prices. Communicate with you if they have any questions or find something more that you hadn't discussed with them when you dropped your vehicle off. Truly an amazing staff to continue to do the work they do.

We had an older truck that hadn't been driven in a couple years, so we needed someone to get it back in running order. A neighbor suggested Byrne's and we're glad he did. It took a lot of work, but they were good about keeping us updated as it progressed, and their prices were fair.

i am a old customer of marvins and he went out of business , burns garage purchased the marvins garage so i thought i try them out , i have went to them 3 times and have no had any services done , each time they have kept my car for over 3 to 4 hours and have told me they can not service my car and i will have to take it to Nissan the dealership or even better the dont have the parts for my car and i will have leave my car there until they get them ! i think the wrong company went out of business !

This is my new favorite mechanic shop. They are trustworthy and they are fair when it comes down to Major repairs on your vehicle. I had my power steering on my Ford fusion fixed by them they've saved me over $900 if I would have went to a dealership. I will always send my vehicles to them now.

Dawn and the staff at Byrne's have consistently provided professional and complete services for my car and pickup truck. I recommend this business for and auto service needs. Quality service, professional attitude, and their work is warranted. The only thing I could possibly ask is when a vehicle is ready for pickup it could be washed and interior vacuumed. I am absolutely thrilled with the wonderful service and always fair price at Byrne's Garage. I have been a customer for over 10 years and at least with 6-7 cars I have owned. The people are all so honest and friendly. You can rely on accurate and honest information. They will throughly check all systems to prevent future problems and perform only necessary service after asking your approval. I will be a Byrne's Garage customer for many years to come.

Took my car here after Louisville Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, Ram tried to fix the same issue with my air mass filter and were unsuccessful three times!!Byrnes assessed the problem and fixed it properly, and I was even given a ride to and from my home!I came here because the reviews were so good and now I see why. When my vehicle needs serviced again, Byrnes is the place I will go!

Great experience. Took my son's truck in to have the radiator and drive belt and tensioner replaced. Dawn was able to get me in the next day. I found their pricing for both parts and labor to be reasonable/fair. The price quoted was the price paid. Lifetime warranty on the radiator. The mechanic (Scott) that was working on my truck called twice to discuss the repairs and kept me updated on how things were progressing. First time using this shop, will definitely use them again in the future. Thanks.
