Brown County Tire + Auto is a wonderful business -- they're direct and honest about what needs doing to your car and what doesn't. They have excellent customer service who understand the customer's needs. We see them for our cars at least a half dozen times a year, and have never had a bad experience. They come in exactly at quote or under and, if it will be more, call before to discuss. We're lucky to have such a good mechanic business in the county. Highly recommended.

They towed my car and they told me they didn't have it. My car broke down two hours from home and I had to call all the law enforcement and towing services in the area. None of them knew where my car was so I had to get a ride all the way there just to find out my car was in the back lot. When I inferred about this the receptionist was extremely rude. They weren't even able to fix my car. I had to take it somewhere else. Not to mention the price gouging of their towing

Great Choice, Folks At Brown County Tire Are Offering Quick Services At Very Reasonable Prices. I'm Relatively Surprised By How Transparent This Group Is! We Left Feeling Eager To Spread The Word About How Satisfied We Are, & To Let Other People Hear That You Will Be Getting A Fair Deal At Brown County Tire!

I know people are busy but, I was stranded from out of state and she never even called me back after we talked and she said she d call me in a bit after she got pricing.Pretty sad customer service!!

I lost control of my vehicle this morning and ended up off of the side of the road and in the brush. The responding county sheriff called Brown Co. Tire and Auto. They were extremely helpful and got me back on the road quickly. Some real awesome folk.

Good people doing good work. They fixed my flat and had it back on the car in under 15 minutes. He did it right, also by parching the inside instead of just putting a plug in the hole!The whole job was more like going to a friend for help than having car trouble 200 miles from home. No call ahead, just show up and step back. Magic. All for the cost of lunch for two at McDonalds.Thank you Brown County Tire. Best stress reliever yet.

On my way back from a park and blew a spark plug. Brown county tire and Auto was my emergency room for my truck. However, I don't think that it's part of the regular business. I am so grateful they could help get me back on the road and back to Indy. If they provide that kind of incredible customer service without prior notice, I can only imagine how phenomenal they are with a scheduled appointment. May just have to make them my regular mechanic even though I'm an hour away. Worth the drive

These guys were extremely helpful and quick. I came in to get air for my tires and they found and patched a hole in my tire. They didn't try to upsell anything. I thoroughly appreciated them for this. (also if you are going into the office from outside it's a push door)

I stopped in because my alternator needed replaced. They were booked out and couldn t squeeze me in, but they happily charged my battery for me so I could get back to my campsite safely. They didn t charge me for this service and were so nice and patient with me the entire time. Debbie at the front desk was very kind, and the gentleman helping me, Alvin, really helped explain what he was doing and what I needed to do to continue charging my battery until I could get my car to a shop. I m from Florida on a month long road trip, I know nothing about this area or car mechanics, and it was so comforting to meet such thoughtful, kind and patient people. Truly appreciate this shop for helping me when I needed it!

I had a mixed bag of experienced with this garage. The definitely stand behind their responsibilities. I would recommend them as honest and having quality work. Do not buy a used tire from anyone. There could be stress fractures and dry rot that is not visible. I had a series of terrifying events, but it could have been far worse if ut wasn't for the pride the owner feels for what he does. They are prompt, the prices are fair. Not to mention the amount of competition is far less than other cities

They were Great. Got my problem solved and I was back on the road home to Florida. They are very friendly and compassionate regarding my problem and willing to drive us (6) to Columbus to a motel if they couldn't get my van going within a short time but I was off for home within an hour and a half. Thanks Brown County Tire

Awesome people who go the extra mile for customers highly recommend them for vehicle repair and maintenance and also tires and tire repairs. Add bouns is the towing service they offer. Fair prices with quality workmanship doesn't get any better.

My husband and I are visiting the area from KY and felt there may be an issue with our tire. They got us in immediately and checked everything out and all looked good. I went to get my car battery replaced. They took 30 minutes (it only takes 15) and installed the most expensive battery without informing me. $230 for a battery replacement is way above standard. They only gave me a sketchy handwritten receipt. They will rob you if they can.

My husband had a flat at work and at closing time they actually loaned him a used tire till we could get tires put on our vehicle. They never even charged him. I am actually amazed. Thank you for helping a county resident and employee of the county at his time of need. You all went above and beyond.

We managed to get ourselves in a pickle, two vehicles off the road because of gravel that was very dry and didn't give enough traction. It was a Friday night, but Chad came out and very cheerful. He not only got us out and running but made sure we got to our campsite safely. I only have the four stars tho as we took a tire in and they were going to have to order it as they have no stock. Was a bit bummed.

I've heard good and bad, but strictly from my point of view - it's always been a good experience. The only mix-up I have ever experienced was when they refilled my wiper fluid with summer blend, instead of winter. That made for an interesting drive on the snowy, salty highway the following weekend. Other than that, the staff is always friendly, and they do their best to get the job done quick and get me back on the road again.

The tech was great, did great job. But it when I went to pay, that's when it went south. It was a third more than I was quoted on the phone for a simple tier swop. I was going to go by grocery store after that so I had the extra money for it. But the difference in price, cut us out of two days of food. I'm on a fixed budget and we receive no government assistance, so thing like that dus madder. Next time I will do it myself and just take them somewhere to get balanced. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name that waited on me because he was so helpful. He rides a motorcycle if that helps. Service was excellent and I appreciated him explaining things to me because I was traveling back to North Carolina.

We blew a tire out on our camper on our way to Bean Blossom and drove in on our spare. While setting up our camper we saw the tow truck in the camp ground. We flagged him down and he took our tire with him and had it replaced the next day dropping it back off at the camp ground. It was great not to have to spend our vacation time driving around an area we did not know well trying to get a new tire for our camper. We were able to spend the time visiting the area and did not have to worry about our tire. Felt that the price was good and the service even better!

We were passing through and the alternator failed on the truck. I was watching the battery die and we barely made it here. They were eating lunch when I walked in, but they jumped up to see if they could help. Tested it on the spot and it was bad. I bought an alternator at NAPA, next door, and was going to install myself in the parking lot. He even told me I could borrow some tools if I needed. I asked if they wanted to do it and they installed within 20 minutes. I couldn't believe they only charged me $45. I paid with my card and only had $20 in cash. I gave them that as well and told them to buy those gentlemen some donuts the next morning. I wish I could give 6 stars to make up for the lady below that gave 4 stars after they came to her rescue on Friday night, but then didn't have a tire in stock they needed. Sheesh, can't please everybody.

They like to remove bad reviews. Had car towed and it was there 2 days. They charged 800.00. When I said 800.00 the lady screamed at me. She said pay th F bill or u cannot have car back. Well Ins payed Bill. Sad sad Customer Service. Only good reviews are there Nashville Peeps

Incredibly professional and kind. We are from out of town and our car was overheating just before we left for home. Brought it here and Eric diagnosed what was going on. He took the time to take a good look and then helped explain what was going on, where the leak was, and what our options were. Very appreciative that he took the time to talk me through it and helped solve what we needed to get us back on the road.
