One of the few hotels in Nappanee. Room was pretty good. Bed is firm so if you like firm beds it s a good place. Lots of channels on the tv to watch. Main complaint is the lack of breakfast options. They advertise free breakfast. But it s actually a little store they give you 5 bucks to spend when you stay. Muffins, cereal, breakfast bars. They obviously did a full breakfast before with the space they have and reading past reviews. With the prices they charge they can spend some and provide a better breakfast for their guests.

The room was acceptable. Website stated hot breakfast. The only thing provided was a 5 dollar voucher to use in their limited store. There were only 2 other occupied rooms in the hotel. I asked for a noon checkout instead of the normal 11 AM. The lady told me there would be an additional $25 dollar charge to stay the extra hour. They need some customer relations training. I won't be back.

On the road, less traveled, yet still easy to find and access.A small, but quaint in with thematic stay. Made to feel welcome even as the guest for a visiting, athletic competition against the local team, Notre Dame. Was able to visit the area without breaking the bank on a home football weekend.Hot breakfast with easy to access stations.First rate customer service. Had no problem, changing the billing to a different credit card, even after I had already checked out.Even the minor issue of a TV changeover it was addressed by immediate room service from the front desk clerk.Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Disappointed that , with two nights stay, the beds were not made after the first night. I made reservations for two adults and two children. the room only had two each towels and washcloths. Breakfast had no warm food and juice dispenser was inoperable. For the cost of the room I fully expected a better experience. We probably will not return.

The room was good, but the sinks were gurgling when they were used. The jets in the master bedroom jacuzzi didn't work and only the hot water seemed to work (cold water worked but it seemed like it was overtaking the hot water). The continental breakfast was included, but we didn't take advantage of it. The bed was comfy and so was the couch in the room and it was convenient to have a microwave/refrigerator as well. We would stay there again, but it would be sort of a deal breaker if the jacuzzi didn't work again as that was one of the big reasons we got the room.

We stayed here 3 nights. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom shower was updated, and the room had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The staff was also great! The only downside was we could hear our neighbors talking and they were using a normal volume. I'm assuming it was due to having an adjoining room vs a solid wall. There were so few guests in the hotel it would have been nice to have empty rooms on either side. However, we would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at The Amish Inn. The comfort of the room was acceptable and the location to the wedding venue we were attending our friends wedding at was very convenient. We didn t have a door hanger in our room to request to have the room cleaned or please do not disturb . The reason why I bring that up is because I believe housekeeping of the room is completed only if you hang that on the door knob. We were there five days and four nights our room was not consistently cleaned. The beds were never made, not on any of the days we were there. One day I had to request towels at the front desk. On another day I saw the person cleaning the rooms and I requested fresh towels and for the trash to be emptied. The lady, cleaning the rooms, the one I spoke to in the hallway was very pleasant and accommodating to my request. All the employees that I encountered while staying there were very polite and any request was handled positively. All in all, it was an acceptable hotel, the room temperature was comfortable and the environment was quiet. We all got really good sleep. I would stay there again if we ever have a chance to return to Nappanee.

We made reservations a couple of months before our arrival date on August 3. Because my husband is disabled, we specified when making a reservation that we wanted a room with 2 queen beds, and it MUST be on the first floor, since there are no elevators in the building. Check-in time was 4pm. By the time we arrived around 5pm, we were told that they had given up our reserved room to someone else who had arrived earlier to check in. There were no identical rooms available for us on the first floor. We wound up having to get a room on the second floor, and all our luggage and other items had to be lugged up and down by 73-year old me (the lady at the desk did offer to carry the suitcase and a cooler upstairs) but I had to carry it all downstairs again. No apology was given for giving our room to someone else. I find it appalling that a place like this has such a poor policy.

Enjoyed the inn. Only down side was that they ran out of breakfast stuff on Sunday which we had already ate but come Monday we didn t get breakfast because they was out of everything but cereal. other then that we was pretty happy with our stay and will stay again. Loved the hammocks out by the pool.Nearby activities: We stayed during the civil war days and it was easy for us to walk back and forth. There wasn t much else around outside of the red barn which was also in walking distance. There was a little store that was also within walking distance.

The Hotel is perfect clean rooms, friendly service, adequate breakfast. HOWEVER, I will never book on line again..ALWAYS call your hotel directly. We stayed two nights..the first night was booked on line since it was posted only 7 rooms available for the night in question cost $147.00 plus $19.99 on line booking fee. After arriving, we decided to stay another night that night was $89.00 + tax.. we spent for ONE night what it would have cost for two nights if we had booked directly with the hotel. This was by no means the hotels fault, we would definitely recommend this hotel, and we most definitely will stay here again only next time booking directly thru the hotel no more anything on line.Food & drinks: Ate at three different restaurants recommended by the hotel GREAT FOOD..

We had an infestation of ants . Complained to assistant manager, no compensation as a reduced rate or anything . Room was great except for waking to ants crawling on you.Continental breakfast was ok, Have had better but appreciate not having to go out to breakfast.Rooms: Rooms were nice ,clean and comfortable until the ant problem during the night

This is an amazingly quaint and wonderfully themed hotel. The rooms are all very modernized and well kept. I think the best selling point is the amount of care that the staff put into every little detail, from the placement of the pillows on the beds down to the extra lids for coffee cups, to the little notches they fold into the toilet paper. The gift shop has some very cute souvenirs for very modest prices, and the breakfast area made me feel like I was back in a homestyle country eatery. A wonderful stay, five stars!

It was very comforting and comfortable. Friendly folks very quiet and peaceful I highly recommend sitting on the back porch facing the pool. The awesome lady at the front desk called to inform us that we had forgotten my favorite pillow. We were already in another state but not yet at our next hotel. I would have been upset wondering about my pillow. It was convenient enough to swing by on our way home. Thank you....This is the kind of thing you don't soon forget. We have already decided to make it one of our places to revisit.I recommend it
