If I could rate this place any lower, I would. My dad (who is 75 years old) had this business hired to do some work on his vehicle. We took the car in to them in April and we have not received it back. It's going on 8 weeks now and we are only getting the run around. We have told them multiple times to just forget the work and we will come and pick up the vehicle. They have not returned the car. It is locked inside their warehouse with a steel gate around it. We have offered to pay for anything they have already done, but have gotten nowhere. We had to file a police report for a stolen vehicle. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANY CAR REPAIRS. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I work in Muncie an hour away from home. (Day 1)My car did not start so a friend found Underdog Auto who came out pretty quickly. Their first diagnostic was the starter in which I purchased with the anticipation of returning the old core for monies returned. They changed it at 8pm in the rain. Car still did not start. The next morning (Day 2)they were going to check the Alternator Battery and my old Starter. I was told Alternator good, battery good and old starter was on the verge of going out. Car was then towed to their shop for further inspection out of the rain. (Day 3) I was given hope that it was my car key (Black Box) they opened it and said a magnetic piece was dislodged and needed to be replaced. I was so happy to know that this was it, so I paid for a locksmith to duplicate my key. Car still did not start. I was told that the last resort was a shift solenoid. It was Saturday so I did not expect them to do any more work to it until they at least reached out to my warranty company to make a claim to do work on following Monday. Monday around 11 am (Day 5) I am contacted to say they were going to start again working on my car to figure out the problem. Around 2pm I received an invoice for Labor (chasing a problem) and Correct Battery Size, (Battery initially tested good but the wrong size battery was installed). Now I just purchased the battery from Battery Plus in Indianapolis a month and a half earlier. I have never been sold an incorrect size battery from them. But Oh well... I need my car to go to work and Paid the remainder of the bill. I asked if I could get my old battery back because I wanted to take it back to battery plus and get second opinion on why they sold me the wrong size battery. After talking to UnderDog...... I did not get the battery back, but they did provide me with a copy of the receipt where they went ahead and purchased another battery for my vehicle. After I retrieved my vehicle I thought that my old starter would be in my vehicle so that I could get my core money returned to me. It was not in the car. Now I purchased the Starter so I would have presumed that they would leave the old starter with me. I say this to say $1000 later and 5 days later to be told I needed a new battery breaks my heart every time I think about it. I was very happy with the customer service, Amanda is great and knowledgeable. I would have liked to know before hand of what the problem was before they purchased a battery. I would have liked to received my old starter back. I would have liked to get the old battery. A woman in a desperate situation may allow things to pass just to be able to get back mobile. I know this would not have happened if my husband was alive. Hope this helps someone.Service: Battery

Great honest people. Great prices. Great work.Had to get my transmission replaced and they Have no up charge on parts. They let me know when anything else needed to be fixed and they fixed it. Service was fast, and efficient, and really affordable. Parts were slightly more than the labor cost. I definitely was saved money, and time going to Underdog. I'll be bringing my car back to them for service from now on. My son's car would not start. We're 21/2 hours away from him so we needed to find someone who would come and look at his car. They checked several things on his car. Found out the battery wasn't any good. They replaced it. Very happy with the serviceService: BatteryService: Battery

Changed engine oil and left gasket on oil filter. Conclusion= the engine blew. 6000 dollars later we was able to get our car back from Kia with a new engine. They are not professionals here!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
