Fast service.They have great communication with what is wrong, and the price they quote is the price you pay.They were open to getting my car on the same day I needed to get it in for service.Great customer service and quality repairs.I will definitely use them again for my cars needs.

Their machine shop is top notch by far. We had a couple of engines re bored by them. And mistakes were made, we are all human, and they happen right. But what took the cake is the customer service that came after the fact!!!! They verified the mistake and instantly took care of it and were very apologetic about it. Most shops we deal with come up with excuse after excuse and will deny even if it was their fault. Not these guys!!! Very professional. I already liked their work but really won me over with how they handled the situation.

I ordered a new short block from Nyes and was told I would have it in 14 weeks. The 14 weeks turned into 8 months and every time I called for an update I got a different excuse about supply chain issues with wiseco pistons. After talking with wiseco I found out that wasnt true. The short block was supposed to come with a flex plate that i still haven't gotten. I definitely was not much of a priority for nyes after they got my money.

Hey my name is danny from Orlando I ordered a built motor for my 85 pro street Camaro, they built a 407 blower motor took a chance with them and with them being out of state and MAN! It paid off I couldn t be happier , Pat is an amazing person with a mountain of knowledge, Thanks to Pat and the guys at Nye automotive, for making my dream a reality.

Out of all the machine shops that are local to me (fort wayne area) they were the only ones capable of doing darton MID wet sleeves for my Honda block. I was happy with the way it turned out and I'm ready to get my engine built. If I ever do a future build I'll for sure be bringing it to them.

Very up front group of people. Will take time out to fully understand what your goals are and wants. Make suggestions to help and give advice. Make great power/very constant power plants. Service dept is great as well. Thank you to Nyes and Nyes guys

The first 2 times I brought my engines here they were decently fast. Within 2 weeks. I have brought 3 more to them and I am going on 2 months waiting on them. THATS 3 CUSTOMERS WITHOUT A VEHICLE FOR 2 MONTHS. I'm sorry to say that they seem like they have no idea what is going on. I had called other engine builders to get quotes, most were very unprofessional . I talked with pat at nye's , he was top notch on the phone. I ordered from them and waiting for engine now. Asked him a few things about parts and he's very knowledgeable . I researched everything he suggested and he was spot on. Can't wait to see the monster he is creating for me.i would refer anyone to them.

I had some pretty extensive work done to my truck and they did a great job.The pricing was high but pretty much the going labor rates.i will continue going there they honor their work

Cant say enough positive things for this company. They built a killer 427 SBC engine for my 72 Nova. Engine fired right up, very minor tuning needed on my end. Any and all questions I had Pat made sure to answer through the whole process. Thanks Nyes!

Pat was easy to talk to and work with. Waiting on my new deluxe shortblock to get finished. Sept 16th 2021 just got off the phone with Pat so everyone is aware he ia deal with part issues and availblity but he is still providing update and he is working through the issues.i seen another review on here for 1 star . U have to understand the whole COVID issue killed the parts /support industry.Nyes is still rocking and rolling through the set backs

Nyes conducted a complete diagnostic on my vehicle and corrected the problem after spending nearly $1000.00 dollars at other locations. The other repairs resulted in a 'band-aid' effect correcting the problem only temporarily and left me with a car having the same problem as before.They were also able to repair the vehicle in half the time expected with the help of a nice family who permitted my car to take priority.I am so grateful to have my car repaired with the confidence that it is safe to drive and the problem is finally behind me.Thank you Nyes,A new loyal customer.

Had a skid steer motor rebuilt. It took them 4 months and they lost all the extra mounting bolts and hardware and every time we ask them about it they just shove us off and say it should ve been with the motor when you picked it up even though it was not.

20k miles on Nyes 540 700 HP pump gas crate engine. They included an engine Dyno sheet that rated the engine at 704 HP. Chassis Dynoed when fresh at 538 HP in 72 Camaro with 700R4. Here is my review now that the engine is basically needing rebuilt or replaced. I have been very unimpressed by the workmanship of this engine. I also doubt the honesty that they dyno test each engine as their included dyno sheet would indicate. Upon first firing up the engine the oil pump made a loud knocking noise. Their solution was to bring it back to Muncie Indiana for repair. I trailered the car to their shop 8 hours away and they did perform the repair under warranty. I do not fault Nyes for a bad part but had they actually tested the engine it would have been immediately apparent at startup and fixed before I had received the engine. I do not believe these engine are tested.Next issue at about 14K miles I was in Detroit for Woodward dream cruise when temperature started to run hotter than normal. Upon checking oil I found it contained coolant. After pulling over I found a shop a distance away that would look at it the Saturday of Woodward Dream Cruise. Turns out the intake bolts had come loose. Since then the engine uses alot of oil. I have continued to drive the car by directing the oily crankcase pressure through PCV valves back into the engine.Have also gotten in the habit of checking regularly as bolts back out of this engine for some reason. Have found timing cover, oil pan and other bolts that are completely backed out.Believe a better option is to purchase a GM Performance crate engine at more cost.
