Pleasantly surprised. Nice people.Did not care for van hallen music.Liked the analysis of urgent fix vs future fix. Not sure why they didn't review urgent fix and just let me go out the door to find out through email.Overall pleasant and satisfied.

I m not one to typically post reviews, but the team at Meineke definitely deserves a huge shout out today. I went in for a routine oil change and they discovered some other issues that could be resolved at the same time - no problem, I had them take care of things. Then, I ended up an hour away with a car that wouldn t start after my battery was replaced. They took care of towing me back to the shop and found my starter was completely shot, with no prior indication on my end that there was an issue (it was the original starter from about 17 years ago, so not a complete shock). They took great care of me and got everything fixed in record time. Top notch service and not a single harsh word or bad attitude to be found. Thanks so much for all you did today! Highly recommend!!!

This recent visit, and consequently final visit, I was given an estimate over the phone prior to the appointment, which turned out to be half of what they wanted to charge me day-of. When I told them thank you, but I was taking the car somewhere else, I was met with snide remarks and rude response.It all turned out well in the end though! I took it somewhere else for the exact same work and the final bill cost me even less than Meineke's initial estimate. So now I have a more reliable, friendlier, and affordable place to service our vehicles.

Dropped my car of for a $19.95 oil change with coupon. Agreed to text and email alerts. Did not receive any alerts asking if I was okay paying $60.00 for my oil change cause my car calls for Full synthetic, just did it. They also gave me estimate for over $800. saying my car needed complete brakes, rotors, and I had a oil leak that needed a dye test. When asked how low my oil was they said, it did even read on dip stick. Next day took my car to Eric s on Hoyt, who I trust for for leaks and I didn't have a leak. Yesterday took my car to A-1 muffler on Madison, who I trust for brakes. My brakes had 40 percent life, my rotors are good and I only needed a $50. NOT $800. for my brakes being bled. Not saying anything bad about them but this was my experience.

I one this past weekend to get a tune up, from a check I had done at local parts storeI knew cylinder one was misfiring, and was prepared to have plugs and coils replaced. After the T.M. (the tech???) went over the car the first estimate was 2000 to replace coils and plus, and oil change! They told me that all six coils were going cost almost 900. I looked on the internet on my phone and saw the local parts store, right next door, was around 200.00 After some discussion(?) the Matt why was behind the counter said, I cannot get them for that , , He ultimately relented, saying something about he was looking at the wrong coils(?) and "brought cost down to 900 for the job.I knew it needed it, so I had it done.When I picked up the car later in the day I asked how it is running now, again I was told "pretty good(???)" As I pulled out I did notice the CEL was off though it seems to almost run as it had when I pulled in that morning. Within 20 minutes CEL light came back on.I went to another parts store on the way home and had them run the same test and THE SAME CODES CAME UP. I went back and was first told it might just be a bad coil. Ultimately, when the tech ran it through the test (not sure if earlier a test was ever run?) Though now suddenly there are other codes??The first text they sent me just said CEL on needs attention.Frustrated and feels like I am out 900.00 I can no longer recommend the shop. Be careful..

Very pleasant and helpful counter guy.. made a appointment I called cause I was going to be a little late. He was great gave me a 15 minute grace period.. I made it just in time.I got a text when my car was done.There special was 19.95 regular price 24.95 plus tax..There waiting room was clean and roomy.. liked that also..All around very good service.I will be going back..

This is a great location. The mechanic that did my van was very professional and polite. The same thing can be said about the gentleman working the front desk. I want to give thanks to the person who I believe is the district manager over this area. I had an issue with a location separate from this one and so many people from the Meinike company called me to help. Say what you will, but this is the only company that I know who maintains this level of customer service and urgency. They have great decorum and a military style bearing amongst the upper ranks. They are squared away and display integrity. I also want to say thank you to the owner of the other shop along with another member of his team for reaching out to me. I am extremely thankful for Meinike. I am extremely thankful that I chose them to service my vehicle. I trust them here. I will continue to use them in the future.

A big "attaboy" to Meineke Car Care Center.My 2000 Chevy Blazer started chugging for no apparent reason. I pulled in and service advisor Matt was very helpful. He professionally explained everything that was going to happen along the way which put me at ease. He was even able to get me a coupon for some money off the repair because it was going to be over $500. Within a couple of hours, everything was fixed and I was on my way.

I was in Muncie traveling for work and planning on heading home when I had a brake issue come up. I called and spoke to Tyler. Even though he didn t have any openings on his schedule he felt that under the circumstances he would figure out how to fit me in. I worked with in the service business before and I have pretty high expectations. I must say that Tyler and the technician who worked on my car were absolute professionals and got me in and out. What a great experience and I am super happy with the outcome!!

Told them I need my brakes to be swapped. They agreed. It wasn t a question but a statement. Never did it so they squeak so bad still. Instead they did an inspection and determined I don t need them. I DIDNT ASK I TOLD. I also told them to check the head gasket. It s good . Had other mechanics confirm it s a head gasket problem. Never go here they don t care about their job. I took my oil change and left. Who knows if they even used the right oil their either.

Got me right in was very polite & professional. Took care of the problem new rotors & pads. Reasonably priced & very fast service. Have used this location many times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

My car wouldn't start at the Target parking lot (starter needed replaced), and I was able to call them and get their help with organizing a tow to their shop. This was right before closing, so I'm glad they were able to give me the tow number. The next day, they saw to my car promptly and got it all fixed up. Everyone here is kind, informative, and efficient.

Everything went well, except the sur charge on credit card. If I had put a charge for using their credit card, I would not have that customer coming back. The employees were courteous and worked well..

After allowing my husband and I to sit in the store for over 2 hours, the manager wanted to argue with my husband and tell him he doesn't need our business or anyone else's business because it's a franchise and they will always have jobs and more than enough customers so we don't matter. Absolutely amazing way to treat your customers!! Didn't wear a name tag and refused to give us his name. All my husband asked was how much longer the wait would be and then the manager told him they don't take walking and that's what started the argument because if they don't take walking, WHY would you allow us to sign in as walking and wait 2 hours?? Corporate office isn't open on weekends but I will be calling Monday and I'm going to find out who this man thinks he is and have his boss address that. You don't need our business? Good for you but I bet your company disagrees!!!

I ll be honest, I don t usually write these because of laziness. But the employees at this Meineke went above and beyond to get a part and complete a job for me. The hit their predicted time and cost without any surprises. All of this despite having their own service vehicle break down on the interstate on the way to pick up the part. Super nice and very hardworking. I will be going back next time something happens.Service: Transmission

Had an engine light issue while in town...got me in quickly and didn't charge me for a quick look. Great service!
