Just left a few minutes ago and although I never take the time to write reviews, I had to rave about what a great job they did for me this morning.My check engine light came on recently and I was so worried that the repair would be something I couldn't afford. Advance Auto Parts recommended this garage. My car is a 2004 and it has multiple problems that I can't afford to fix. Craig looked at my car...and sure enough there were a bunch of things that needed done. A few other people at the garage (whose names I didn't get) all pitched in and they figured out some cheaper repairs to keep my car running through the holidays.Highly recommend this place. Car is running great and I will be back for sure. A godsend today.

I couldn't be more pleased with this shop. Water pump went out on my truck while helping my daughter moved which left us in a bad way. They were able to get the truck in, repaired and back on the road in 2 hours. The estimated cost was spot on, no hidden or surprise fee's or costs. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful experience and service we received. As if the shop couldn't be better they are also veteran friendly just bring your military ID with you and receive a discount on the labor for your repairs. Oh almost forgot to say the shop owner even came to my house to give me a ride to the shop when our truck was done. Thank you all so much!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Customer service is on point if you re a woman don t be afraid to go to this garage they will not over price or lie to you about things that don t need to be fixed they are honest good people.

These guys are a scam. They quoted me a price and then waited until I went to pay and charged 500 more. Busted my muffler when putting in a PTU. Then to have a mirror put on and they broke my window button. They were supposed to do a simple service on my car. That was 2 months ago and my car is telling me to change oil soon. Please don't go there. They mess things up and over charge. They want to keep you coming back. Stay away.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance

Scott got me in VERY quickly. Figured out the issue in a couple minutes, checked over the entire car, threw in a new thermostat, some brakes, and a couple other little things. All in all paid a very fair price, which did not change from the quote even after he found enough issues to double the time quote. The price was almost exactly what I paid (love price accuracy). He kept me updated the whole time, and didn't do anything I didn't authorize. None of that "blinker fluid" nonsense you get from some places. I would highly recommend this garage to everyone! I had just bought a used car, and on the first day, there was a loud humming from the A/C being turned on. I was recommended to CARS from a coworker, and I stopped in after work 20 minutes before they closed. They came out and listened to the noise and in 2 seconds, they knew it was something in the blower motor, probably a mouse nest. They immediately pulled me into the shop, dropped the fan out, and lo and behold, a little critter nest. They cleaned it out and had me on my way for a small minimal charge. I was very pleased and happy that they both diagnosed and fixed the problem so close to them about to go home. Stand up guys! I will return to them in the future without hesitation.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

I was VERY happy with the service I received a couple of months back! The price was very reasonable all of the people were very nice! They didn t try to pull my leg and add things in, it was super timely! I've been dealing with Scott for a couple years now. He's always been amazing. I constantly recommend his shop to everyone! He's always honest and get the job done right the first time and doesn't charge an arm and a leg.

Craig and the guys at C.A.R.S. are honest and hard-working guys. They gave me an upfront quote on what I thought could be wrong with my truck. Took it to them and they repaired it quickly, going above and beyond for me, and it was even less than the initial quote. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered. You will be sorry if you go here! Be sure to have your lawyers number handy when he doesn t work on your vehicle, tries to charge daily fees, refuse to work, hangs up on you, and then try to keep your vehicle hostage. I am surprised he hasn t been sued and shut down before now. Once the lawyer finishes exposing this business and we start the court process, no one else will have to encounter this type of criminal activity hopefully and he gets shutdown.Edit*** He also wont even talk to the finance company, he has cussed my finance company out and hung up on them and stated he is not working with them, leaving everything in limbo then will try and steal your vehicle with a mechanics lean after he puts your engine INSIDE your vehicles back hatch and refuses to do anything else. He adds daily storage fees for a now disabled vehicle that he took the engine out and wont deal with my finance company so forcing the bill so he can put a lien on your vehicle. You will get screwed with this guy.Also this guy is so ignorant in his response to my review that he claims my review is "bogus" based off someone else. No buddy all the same people here and same vehicle.. Didnt just decide to Google search car repair gone bad and find you on Google reviews just to waste my time writing about your poor excuse for a business. This is the most honest and affordable place to take your vehicle. Scott and his employees are extremely knowledgeable on foreign or domestic models. They are always upfront and never any hidden fees. Great job every time I have needed them for over 10 years now!!! Thanks

If you need something done, call them.Pay no mind to the bogus 1 star reviews, obviously fake. People have nothing better to do. This guy has been in business in the same spot for around 20 years that I know of. I know lots of people that send cars there on the regular. My vehicle was just fixed. They ran all new brake lines on the car and didn't charge a small fortune for it either. I appreciate what they do and will continue to send my vehicles there when it's something I can't do in the driveway.Service: Brakes

Scott is a very knowledgeable person, and very honest, most of his staff is the same way as him. Some are there just to draw a pay check. I highly recommend if you take your vehicle there you specify there you ask for Chris, or Scott to work on it and nobody else

My family and I have been taking our vehicles (most of which we bought from Scott) to CARS for years. He is an exceptional guy with exceptional service. Always getting the job done fast and affordably. I can hardly find as good a mechanic that matches him in terms of skill anywhere else I have lived. Whenever I am back in Muncie I take my vehicle to him to get all the bells and whistles examined, just in case.

Best shop experience I ever had! I had an electrical issue was told by other mechanics it was something else and would cost hundreds of dollars..Scott Johnson of C.A.R.S. Inc. and his crew found out was just a simple ground wire! Fixed my problem, didn't try to take advantage of me like a Lot of places do and He saved me a Lot of money! Great place and highly recommend everyone take their business there!

Fraud. Stay way from this business. They don't honor their warranty. Over-priced, rude attitude, a total rip off. Speaking from a personal experience and a collective experience of friends. I wish I could give zero star. Below a photo of the job they got $325 to fix water pump leak. Here is what it looks after a month. They lie to my face and say it is not their problem.

My experience with them has been beyond stressful. They have had my vehicle for 2 months with no progress. The owner is very unprofessional will not work with my warranty company so my family can have a vehicle again. He has refused to corporate with my warranty company and has proceeded to yell and cuss them out. Because he will not corporate with them my vehicle sits untouched while I still have to make payments. If u want someone that can be professional and work with u do not call this shop!!

These people should not even be working on cars. Unintelligent shade tree mechanics. They cannot complete simple tasks. They do not complete any work started. Leave bolts out leave brackets off leave ground wires unhooked. Replace parts and charge for labor for unapproved repairs. Jack up the price for made up repairs. They try to charge you for parts and labor on parts that were never replaced. Con artists. After the 4th time we took a car back because they didn t fix or couldn t fix the problem they cussed at us and told us to deal with it

They ve worked on me and my mom s cars for 10+ years. They re great and the only ones in Muncie that I will let touch my car. Great service, professional, and affordable. I love Scott and his team!

This place is by far the best place in muncie.has the small town setting.scott was very polite and went over everything on my issues. Good service. But they made a mistake of not attaching back the engine filter whose correctly when servicing TR car As a result, the car died mid route. We had to diagnose the problem and fix it ourselves.
