I had taken my vehicle to another competitor for an oil change. I was leaking oil like crazy. I took it back, they stated it was an oil plug seal that needed to be replaced but they don t do it. So, JEEP dealer is closed, so I took it to MIDAS. There I encountered Shawn Chandler, store manager.Shawn immediately assessed the problem, put my eyes under the vehicle once it was up, and showed me exactly what he was looking at. The plug was replaced, it was not the original, and my oil pan was cracked. I told Shawn, I had to be at work by 4pm (it s 12:45pm now). He said, I will get this part and you will be out of here by 3:00pm.Shawn is a straight-up honest man, and a saint in the auto repair field when so many feel they can t trust the work being done on their vehicles. Shawn went above and beyond and I can 100% guarantee, Shawn Chandler and Midas at 851 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis will be the ONLY ones to ever touch my Jeep from here on out.Shawn, I cannot thank you enough for your quality of service but above all else, your honesty and willingness to expedite this matter so quickly. I'm not one to like to talk negative about people. But this company completely screwed us over. My boyfriend went in there, told them my car was shaking and it had a burning smell from the front. They said we needed all new tires. But two would be ok for a few weeks. Paid $300. Got the new tires. The car started shaking on the second day. I didn't drive it on the first day taking it home. You would have to go over 45 mph. We call Midas, they said it didn't have that problem. But it what the problem we talked to them about. My bf even told them he thought the calibers were locking up and to check the breaks. 4 days later my bf and two year old went through the same thing. Expect this time the breaks locked. He couldn't get the the car to move. So we had to wait almost 3 hours for a tow. Then got it checked out it was the calibers, wiring for the breaks, and breaks were replaced. They gave us no money back and said it was not their fault. I definitely won't be doing business with them again. Plus my bf told them I was 38 weeks pregnant. Good job Minus. I mean Midas.

Disappointed to have to report this.Called got a quote for $49 for an oil change.Made an appt, came in and got handed an invoice to sign.They added $10+ listed as a labor charge.Obviously $49 wasn't solely to cover 5 quarts of oil, but to cover the labor of the oil change as well.The shady addition of a nonsense charges is one of the reasons people don't trust auto repair shops.Midas of Mooresville just lost a customer for life....over $10.

Up front and honest. I walked in assuming I needed a new window motor, but was surprised when Billy said the window just needed to be adjusted back on track and it was already fixed. They had me in and out quicker than expected. Thanks!

WOW FRIDAY MORNING At 10:30 and my car has some attention it needs. I called Midas & spoke with Billy very friendly welcoming said come over to the shop now it s a good time. When I got into the store I was once greeted again with positive that definitely makes the process a bit more friendly and less overwhelmed when you have staff like a Billy very enthusiastic about problem that s comes into the shop. I appreciate his efforts in handling my car right away at the time that I came. P.s I came in at 10;30 which on Friday is a good time to come if you can. If you can come over here to Midas in Moorseville if you car is acting up -, come get your car, checked out and fix buy these gentlemen here.

I can t express the gratitude I have for the people here. My husbands exhaust was literally hanging on by a thread and so we came here as we were passing by and the guys took such good care of us and were able to fix it fairly easily and quickly. Thank you Billy and the guys

I scheduled an appointment for a Saturday morning at 7:30 AM on the Friday before. I didn t get confirmation so I called to confirm. I got confirmation. I left the shop at 8:10 AM as no one was there. Billy was very friendly but I don t have time to make an appointment and the shop was not staffed to meet my appointment.

It s very rare to find an automobile service center that not only tries to save you money but doesn t try to upsell you AND provides above average costumer service; but this Midas location does all that and more -I would highly recommend this location for any work that you might need done on your car!

This place must have changed owners and managers. When I made the appointment, the guy told me it would cost 146.00. So, I made the appointment in a week. On my way to the appointment, I got a phone call saying the mechanic had an emergency and wouldn't be there. I understand emergencies so we rescheduled for later in the week. The service was done and the mechanic said it would be 222.00. What could I do but argue for a couple of minutes and then pay. Except the guy that handles the billing was not there but no problem he'd be back in a few minutes. It was almost an hour he kept me waiting with no I'm sorry or nothing. I will not be coming back. It's a shame because I got wonderful service there before.Service: Air conditioning

I had a problem with my exhaust pipe as it was cracked. I needed to have it fixed and welded back into place. They were able to have me drop my car off the same day and even got the problem looked at and fixed WITHIN 2 HOURS! I have never had a car place work so quickly and at a good price. The guys were so helpful and nice too. Definitely going to return if I have future car troubles!Services: Exhaust, Vehicle Inspection
