Worst roadside assistance company EVER called a tow truck to get my car back to Chicago even though I was stuck in Indiana and stranded. It took 2 hours for them to show up the dude was chill when he picked up and he showed me the address where s gonna drop me off and and it was 2 hour drive back to Chicago not far to be honest. The dudes boss or dispatcher calls him and tells him to turn around and drop me off at a nearby dealership and leave me there stranded it was 2am I just wanted to go home. Dude turned back around and he took me back and left me there I had no choice but to call my dad and leave the car there and get someone else to pick up. Mind you this was a car from my dealership that was suppose be delivered back to Chicago. Dont trust these guys worst roadside company EVER!

I requested roadside repair to assist with a flat tire. American Bulldog was called & they came as quickly as they could to help me out. Ryan responded & was kind & very helpful upon arrival. He had my spare on within about a minute! He was so fast & professional. If I ever need roadside again I would use them & I recommend them!

I was impressed with how quick after Matt accessed what he needed. He was very organized to get the spare removed from under the frame with the tools supplied by car s manufacturer. I have had the car since new and never had to have the spare removed.He made the change very short order after the spare was lowered. It took longer to remove the spare than the change. Amazing! He made sure, because the spare had never been used that it was at the proper PSI.Matt put everything he used that was supplied by the manufacturer back in their proper places. No extra parts. LAUGH OUT LOUD!

Don't believe the negative reviews here. I have used American Bulldog twice now and both times the service was prompt, professional, and priced accordingly. This past weekend we were in a bad spot needing help

Don't believe the negative reviews here. I have used American Bulldog twice now and both times the service was prompt, professional, and priced accordingly. This past weekend we were in a bad spot needing help, I called and reached Ryan the owner and he was more than happy to jump to help us. I would absolutely recommend American Bulldog to a friend or anyone in need.

This is by far the worst company i ever deal with in the past 19 years in business' I called them for a road service and told them that truck lost all air you can hear air leaking but driver cant find it . we agreed on $195 for hour for the charges. They send a service truck and the mechanic just stud there listen to the truck ,attempted to go under the truck for 2 minutes but he could not . did not spend no more then 20 min at the truck by just listening from outside for the air leak. When i called about the pay they said the bill was $600.28. This people should been ashamed of the way they do business. I called deferent road service after them and there repair mechanic did his job and got my truck on the road (Complete diesel care).I would avoid this scammers at any cost . they will charge you just to show up and do nothing not even attempt to try to fix or help . thank you

$600 tow bill.....Terrible experience. They did not tow vehicle to property address they were given but instead back to their business and added charge to the bill. They did not tow vechicle for three days with directions that they were given, we had someone waiting at the property with cash to pay charges but they never showed. Finally we had to pick up and tow the vehicle ourselves because their charges were so high. I would never recommend.Service: Car towing

This is crazy reading the reviews and the responses to the poor reviews. In need of a tow for two vehicles and as I read these reviews I have never seen a company respond in defense mode reply to their customers this way. Usually it s something like well I hate to hear you are unhappy with our service and very sorry for the inconveniences you have incountered. We will do our best to bring this to our employees attention. Instead it seems everyone else is in the wrong and they aren t taking responsibility for anything. Very sad

My husband blew his tire out going to work so he needed it towed. Matthew in truck 7 came to the rescue for me and was super sweet! He was very fast and efficient and came within 15 mins of using my roadside assistance. He got my car safely home and I would 10/10 use him again to come save the day. Thanks again Matthew!

Started my Monday morning by locking my keys in my running van! I called American Bulldog, spoke to Ryan and he came out asap and got my car door open! My kids and I were so thankful for him on the chilly October Morning! He was extremely polite and fast!!Seriously! The best!!!

The worst. My Verizon road rescue used them when I needed help with a tire blow out on a dark Indiana road out of range of any business district. After speaking with driver he said he could fix any tire. He arrived after an hour, took my spare off, started working on the removal of tire, then up and said he couldn't finish but would notify verizon to send someone else, he said he had wrong tool. He left us. No second truck came after 40 minutes, I tried calling for more help through the roadside app, the guy closed out the help stating he finished the job, leaving us there helpless. I couldn't get the app to open a second help notification since bulldog marked it resolved. I had to open a new request for a tow, the app requested I put my credit card in for second request. There was a telephone number for questions. It was Bulldog again, the man that answered spoke to me so horrible, saying he couldn't come tow us, that it was against the law to have more than one passenger in his truck. He said his guy completed the job ( left on dark with spare on road) he told me to call uber ( not even possible in that remote area) I asked if he would please cancel my credit card he had on file, he said he did. After 4 hours ( me and my 79 yr old mom) begged 911 to help us explaining the situation. They sent another tow they felt were reliable. They came out said bulldog left the tire because they broke our screws and lugs (costing us another $200) the service 911 sent out finally fixed the tire, we got home (2 hours away) and guess what showed up on my credit card? A tow from bulldog for $295 for a tow they refused to give after breaking our screws and lugs and leaving us on a dark road for hours with our spare in the road closing out a claim as completed. I still am dealing with getting the charge removed. I've explained the horrible even to at least a dozen verizon roadside reps all of them in disbelief. Worst cons ever. I did callthe company to confirm the make and model of my van, the man on the phone said " I can fix ANY TIRE OR TOW if needed" with overwhelming confidence. Like I said, con, lies, manipulation Olympic style. Smh!

What started out as a simple flat tire change turned into a mess. Seized lugnuts and a rim that refused to come off of the truck was no match for Ryan. He got the job done quickly and easily because he has the right equipment on his truck. The price was very reasonable and he showed up was faster than what I was told. I would use Ryan and his company again without hesitation!!!Service: Tire change

These guys responded in a very timely manner. Very professional driver and they even called me when my vehicle got the it s destination! They had no issues towing my lifted super crew cab pickup! You took many hours to arrive (4hrs?) You were rude on the phone each time we called. Then when you arrived and saw we had a flat tire you didn t wait more than 15 MINUTES for us to get the Mercedes tools out. You accused us of NOT having the tools when we DID HAVE THE TOOLS. You wouldn t wait for us to get them, and you wouldn t help us identify the things you needed (it was just me and my mom on the side of the road trying to do this). And then you took off without saying anything to anyone. Just drove off after 15min and left me and my mother stranded on the side of the road in a dangerous location without telling us.When we called a different towing company afterwards to help us move the car they were actually able to guess which company we had just had an awful experience with. They said BULLDOG is notorious for the most horrifically awful behavior, and it didn t surprise them at all.You should be ashamed of yourselves.Service: Tire change

They not only didn t take my car to where they were suppose to at the mechanic shop but they disappeared with my van for 5 days and parked it at an abandoned Uhaul that we discovered after calling for another tow so we could find out where it was, reporting it stolen etc. Then they took my key Faab and refused to return it to me, so we had to tie it out of the lot because they wanted more money and we refused to extorted for more money. So we reported them to the police and found out their license had been revoked and they are in fact NOT a licensed business anymore.. and their unprofessional tactics to get paid was how they do things now. Never use this company!!In response to your reply....Geico is my insurance company and the info that I was told about your license came from them to start.. and your version of what happened with your tow guy is not all that happened. I was perfectly willing to pay the overage as I did pay in the end.. and my car was never taken to the mechanic shop where it was suppose to go, we viewed the security cameras with the owner of the shop snd the police were present... your guy never showed. It took 45 minutes for us to drive there even tho we were spewing to get there as your guy was threatening us telling us he was taking our car to the lot where we wouldn t get it back if we didn t show up to pay him. We were perfectly fine laying with a credit card over the phone but he kept telling us you didn t take that it was cash only which he did not tell us as he was loading. We left only because he told us it was fine and we all had to use the bathroom as we were waiting for over two hours for a ride and for the tow to get there. He had our key in the ignition the entire time. So either you, whoever you are didn t get the whole story.. or someone lied to you. We made reports with the insurance company and the police about the whole situation and didn t get our car back for 5 days after trying to figure out where it was when your guy refused to tell us. We really shouldn t have had to pay anything for this treatment we got but we did pay for the coverage and we still had to come out of pocket to tow and pay for a new key to be programmed because your guy refused to give it to us. And even after all that you contacted me for a review.. so I m telling anyone that asks what happened to us because it s not right.Service: Car towing

Jeremy did a fantastic job towing my Chevy to the dealership. I was traveling in the area and he was very professional and knew more about my car then I did, who know you can't put a car in neutral if the battery is dead.Thanks Abraham.

I would like to say thank you to Nate and his driver I forgot his name.They provided me with excellent excellent customer service and make sure that I was taken care of very well.I hope to never have to use a tow service again but if I do they will be the first people I call.
