I will never get a Kia again. Leased a 2021 Kia sorento. My apple car play only worked for 2 months and my charging ports don t work. My sun roof doesn t work. Among other issues. I paid for an extra warranty at signing that including a few cosmetic and minor things, one of them being : replacing windshield wipers for free. I called in and asked if I could come in to get them and they said I would have to pay even though I have a warranty. They refuse to even look at my Kia unless I pay $200 for each problem I have. It s a lease! I turn it in this year (2024) and I know for a fact they re going to charge me for everything I ve called and inquired about getting fixed. Extremely disappointing experience with what I WANTED to buy out long term for a family vehicle. It s been a sad 3 years driving my Kia honestly.

Left my car there overnight, they parked it in an area with no street lights and when I went to pick it up my vehicle had been vandalized and I was told they aren t responsible. Wont be going back ever again.

Hope this is seen by a manager who actually cares about customers. Whom ever the lady that answers the phone for customer service is a rude individual. We have a car there being serviced as we speak and its our only car we use to get from point A to B. Now when we call to ask if we could get a loaner until we get our car back we are denied like we are not good enough to have a loaner. The few times we have called we are polite and respectful, you would think whoever is answering the phone for your company would treat there customers with respect and try to help you.

Josh B at Gurley Leep Kia is the only salesman I trust to put me in a nice ride! Very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot & provides easy explanations for the whole buying process. 2 cars bought from him so far - used Kia Soul and traded it in for a 2022 Kia K5. Overly Satisfied!!! Devin N is also great with explaining the whole financing, explains it in ways that make you understand and feel great about buying a new car!

I got my car serviced on 11/16/23. Kia called me a week before asking if they could do my 75k mile checkup for my car. I asked if this was covered under my warranty and they said it was. Dropped my car off that day and came back and they threw a $200 bill at me. I did not have that money to pay and was not expecting to pay after what I was told on the phone. I asked what all they did to my car for it to be $200 and all it was was a tire rotation and oil change... I said my dad could have done that for free because he really could have but Kia told me this would be free with my warranty. I'm not sure what kind of warranty I'm paying for but clearly it doesn't help anything. They also gave me a list of all the things that's apparently wrong with my car that also isn't covered by the warranty so definitely don't recommend getting a warranty with whatever vehicle you purchase. Honestly just don't go here. This is the second time I had a horrible experience and I just wish I got my car from somewhere else. Not only did I not have the money to pay but I was told if I didn't pay they wouldn't give me the keys to my car. Had to have my mom send me money that she herself doesn't even have all because someone lied to me on the phone. Stop with the false promises. I've had it with this place.

Recently purchased a Sportage Hybrid SX-PRESTIGE from Gurley Leep Kia. Drove 5 hours as I could not find one in stock with any dealer near me. The overall experience was very simple and transparent. Josh Bendix is highly knowledgeable about the car and the least pushy sales person I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend Gurley Leep and Josh for a smooth car buying experience.

Don t ever buy a Kia. And don t ever buy it from here. Bought a 2021 Kia seltos with 42k miles on it and it started burning oil right off the lot. Will be buying a Toyota Corolla with 100k miles that runs like a charm.

Grand sons vw jetta has been there since 01-17-2023, 11 months. Needs adblue module, dealership keeps saying that part is coming, looked into vw buy back, what a slap in the face. Now Grand son wants to take jetta home without being fixed, Gurley Leep is keeping car HOSTAGE, won't let jetta go. Said outstanding bill that's Vw has to determine. All is under warranty authorization was approved by Vw. Won't let jetta go. Very bad experience The service department know the jetta, grand sons name is H.G. I have been hounding them for 11 months, don't let them fool you...

AVOID this Kia dealer. They are unable to diagnose problems and refuse to fix warranty issues. 2022 Telluride with spiderweb glass cracks on passenger window. $800 no warranty. Shudder under acceleration with obvious drivetrain issue diagnosed as a bent wheel (lol) and $2,200 no warranty proposal. Vehicle has 30,000 miles. Shocking incompetence.

Absolutely would NEVER recommend them to anyone! I tell people to drive the extra 20 minutes to Tyler Kia.The service department is AWFUL, I believe the guys name is Rob who I ve dealt with and he s straight up RUDE!!!!This place makes a sale then wants nothing to doing with helping a customer out unless it benefits them!I m only giving them a 1 bc I can t give them a 0 I NEVER leave reviews but this place is SO terrible I m trying to save others from the hassle of this place

I guess the actual mechanical service it's OK. Still, the customer service felt lackadaisical and not responsive at all. They held to my car for three days even though it was supposed to be ready in one. And I know for a fact that the shop did not have much work, as employees would openly speak about it when I dropped my car. I do not know the reason for this, just that dealing with their customer service has drained my energy. One would be expecting better from a pricey and certified service center.

Gurley leep has been an ongoing nightmare for me. I purchased a used vehicle and within only a couple of days the engine light came on, despite promises that the car is in perfect condition. The service center did everything in their power to refuse service. Once the car was serviced, the engine light came on again. Once again, I had to fight for them to look at the car. Finally it was fixed and six months later, the engine light came back on. I took the car to Veldman s (this place I would highly recommend for service NOT gurley leep) and they said multiple engine parts were in need of replacing. I tried to talk to gurley leep about the limited warranty from purchasing the car and they refused to give me any information about the warranty. I brought the car in for service and they diagnosed the WRONG PROBLEM and tried to tell me I needed approximately $1000 or work that was unnecessary according to Veldmans. Ultimately I brought my car back to Veldmans and it is running perfectly without all the work gurley leep wanted to do. I would NEVER recommend buying or servicing a vehicle at gurley leep, especially Hurley leep Kia (where I purchased the vehicle) or gurley leep Hyundai (where the vehicle was serviced). They are scam artists. Go to veldmans for fair service.

If I could go negative, I would. After making an appointment to get a recall issue fixed and being told they would get right on it and would only have to wait 1 1/2 - 2 hours max. They told me I could come get it at 5pm. I drove an hour to get to the dealer and they wanted me to wait around for about 8 hours. They then told me that the 10:30am appointment was for drop off, why in the hell do you need an appointment to drop off your vehicle?!? Appointments are just that, a time scheduled to do the job. Places like this need to stop over booking or at least be honest with the customers and not tell them lies. Unlike this place, I stick to my appointments.

I had a great car buying experience with Rich, Jason, and Anthony. Rich was knowledgeable about the cars on the lot, and even ran down to another lot twice to show me two cars I requested to see. Jason spent quite a bit of time working with the finance company to accept a total loss statement from my insurance company as proof that my previous car would be paid off in full, and then secured an interest rate 4% lower than I expected. Anthony completed the paperwork with me quickly but thoroughly, and went over extended warranty options without trying to bully me into one. I m very happy with the purchase of my Kia K5, and will definitely recommended Gurley Leep Kia and these guys in the future.

Ash in service is a joke. Brand new 2023 kia telluride they will not warranty a failed battery! Whole service is a joke. They were supposed to have a uber lined up, didn't. Knew yhe battery wouldn't fail if they started it right after driving 30 minutes. Ignorance everywhere!!!!

I wrote an unfavorable review of this establishment reflecting my experience purchasing and attempting to get service for my vehicle. The dealership responded with completely false information and also didn't even try to rectify the most egregious concerns I brought up. Do better.

My hybrid kia broke down 2 hours from home. Gurley Leep was quick to help! They went above and beyond to take care of me and my vehicle. They kept in contact with me, finished my vehicle quickly and they were so kind. Really appreciate all their help

If I could give negative stars, I would. I am writing this review on behalf of my parents, who purchased a vehicle here from someone with the last name Bendix over the past month plus. (I say over the past month plus because it has taken FOREVER.) My parents are older and are too kind to leave a negative review, so I am doing it for them, as I am shocked, appalled, and disgusted over the way they were treated here. This place is beyond unprofessional as well as incompetent. They were completely taken advantage of by this dealership and this Mr. Bendix; how shameful to do that to two kind, older people who just wanted to buy a new car. Long story short- this Bendix person seemed to know he had an easy sell, as he made them wait for hours (and I mean MANY HOURS) both when they initially came to the dealership to choose a car and put a deposit down, as well as when they came to pick the car up a few days later. They sat waiting for almost SIX hours past the time he told them to come pick it up, after arriving at the designated time they were supposed to pick it up, while he wandered around ignoring them and not having the car ready as promised. While my parents sat and waited patiently, he even admitted to going back to "eat some tacos" instead of helping them and working to get them out of there in a timely fashion.Between the day of putting the deposit down and a few days later when they came to pick it up, the mileage on the car changed by a significant amount, and the day they were told it came to the dealership also magically changed. They paid extra for a safety inspection, and when they got the inspection paperwork, they noticed it was for a completely different car: wrong VIN number, one year younger, and 5,000 less miles. Finally, not only did Mr. Bendix not have the extra key prepared for them as he said he would when they picked it up (I heard him tell my mom this on a call), it took over another MONTH of them going back and forth about getting them an extra key. They were also told they would have to pay over $1,000 to get one extra key to their car (so they would have two, as they were only given one) AND that they would have to take it to a locksmith to have it made. What?!?! They tried multiple times to contact the manager and owner about all of these issues, and were brushed off/ignored/calls not returned. In summary: At best this place is completely incompetent, and at worst this farce of a dealership takes advantage of kind, older people as easy targets that they don't feel they need to treat professionally. Manager/Owner, if you see this post, don't write some sentence about "please call me at blah blah blah to resolve this", as I know you won't actually return the call.

So we decided to buy our Sorento from them two weeks ago. We have absolutely loved the Telluride and are equally happy with the Sorento.The previous Kia dealer we used near Michigan City we worked with to buy our Telluride was terrible so we started using Gurley Leep to service our 2022 Telluride,Gurley Leep... was professional, considerate and very fair with our trade. There was no annoying back and forth. We got what we wanted on the first offer..... We did not feel inconvenienced or mislead by our sales consultant. He made us feel valued and important. Thomas was a huge reason for making us feel so appreciated. Patient, professional and very informative. He is a great asset to Gurley Leep Kia. We hope to work with him again soon for our next Kia purchase!

Not sure where start. I came from MI to Indiana to buy a used 21 Kia K5 (CPO) Certified Pre-Owned. After settling on a price with my salesperson(Kim) which was a pleasant experience I must say. I purchased the vehicle.There is a shortage in the hands free charger port it works when it wants to.There was a bra that was not mine in the backseat pocket.Within 30 days , I believe around day 20 ,I attempted to fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir due to my low windshield washer fluid light coming on. Once I started filling up the reservoir ,it started to come out from below leaving a puddle.I did test the windshield washer fluid during my test drive, and everything was ok, so my conclusion was that the reservoir can hold fluid but when you try to top it off the fluid reaches a crack in the reservoir. I took it to my local Kia dealership service center . They advised me they believe there is crack in the reservoir, they cannot confirm or deny until they take it apart and inspect. Also advised me to contact the dealership where I purchased the vehicle from since it was under 30 days and ask them to advise me on the next steps to take. Also, this will not be covered under the (CPO). So, I reached out to my sell person first, she left a message with the service department. A day passed no contact. My next step , went on the company website , left emails with the service dept, and sells dept. Another day plus the weekend passed . Called on Monday spoke with someone in the service dept, was told they would leave a message with the service manager. I called the next day finally got into contact with the service manager. Explained the situation to the manager, I m not sure what went wrong but the conversation went far left, maybe it happened when he stated I had to bring it in and have them look at it. I then explained I lived out of town and if I did bring it in ,would I be compensated with a rental . I don t have the time to keep running back and forth and sitting around for the vehicle to be looked at. He stated that I expect him to just pay for it without any pictures or estimates. The car was a CPO and his mechanic signed off on topping all fluids. I explained to him after he asked me what I wanted, or think was going to happen, he also stated that he feels like a I m calling him a liar. I then explained that I expected to be greeted with sorry to hear that this happened and thanks for being a customer. Explained I never expected to get the OK for the windshield washer reservoir to be replaced without pictures and an estimate. I just called to get some clarification on the next step, but after thinking about it , this problem did happen within 30 days. Maybe I was thinking that the dealership would take care of it, since it was within 30 days. We continue to conversate and reset the conversation , He gave me his email and we agreed if I get an estimate with pictures , that will be a start and he cannot guarantee that they will pay for it.After looking at the price of a new reservoir and labor time. I came to the conclusion if I do the repair myself it would probably save me more than half on the total price (just in case they don t cover it).I went and reviewed my CPO paperwork , I noticed the date inspected was 04/19/21 maybe misprint supposed to be 2023 , mileage 42,8856. Vehicle purchased on 05/26/23 with 43,168 miles. 300 miles different . maybe the reservoir tank might had got damaged in between that time.. Also noticed the tire on the front passenger side . The same side the reservoir is located was different from the other 3 and had way less tread than the other ones.I have no one to blame but myself , I relaxed my in depth inspecting the vehicle. I guess the words of CPO made me too relaxed in my own pre-inspection of the vehicle..Lessened learned, it might just be better to buy local.My Experience with Gurly Leep KIA

I took my car in for 15,000 mi routine oil change and maintenance. I scheduled an alignment because my car was pulling to the left. After having that service done and everything else that they recommended, which was upwards of $700, my car continued to pull to the left. I called and let them know the problem wasn't solved and brought it in the next week. They adjusted something related to steering calibration which seem to help for a few days, after which point the pulling was just as prevalent as before service. It took me a couple of weeks to call and try to get this addressed because I live part-time in Indiana and part-time in Wisconsin. When I called, they told me they could get me in in one month. I will find somewhere else to take my car. Additionally, when I picked up my car following the adjustment to the routine service, the salesman asked if I was able to access my satisfaction survey on my phone and proceeded to take my phone out of my hand and answer the survey questions for me, including fabricating answers to get extra points for himself, before taking me to where my car was parked. I'm pretty laid back and not one to make much of a person trying to survive in their job. However, if the service then fails to meet expectations, much less exceed, I am disinclined to be cool about it.

Kim at Gurley Leep Kia is the BEST sales person we have ever dealt with in our car buying history. We leased a vehicle and then purchased it and bought a second used vehicle from her. Could not have been happier with her honesty, efficiency, fair negotiation, hard work, and continued support even after we purchased our vehicles! We refer all our friends and family to go see her if they ever need a vehicle! Thanks Kim! Only a few more years before the kids start driving! We ll be back!

We love our new Kia! Was looking at a Subaru but our daughter has a Kia and loves hers. Ratings on kias was phenomenal and was just what we wanted. Hank was a great salesman, we highly recommend him. Financial person Anthony was quick and thorough.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the best oil change service in town and I can confidently say that I am beyond impressed! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and hassle-free. The service advisor, Ash, is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, answering all my questions.

Our engine light came on. Was in the area, so we stopped by the service department and asked if it was safe to drive. The gentleman was very rude told us to call in January to make an appointment. Hopefully it nothing serious. Would never buy a Kia again. Always have nothing but problems with the service department. My break light has been on for a couple of years. Stayed there all day, they couldn't figure out how to fix it.
