Emily and Sean take away any apprehension about car repairs because they re so trustworthy. I have gone to them for years, and they ve kept me informed on what absolutely needs to be taken care of and what can wait. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

G&S is run by Sean and Emily, a brother and sister team who run the shop like a finely tuned automobile. They are professional and efficient. And I don't like than that, they are honest. They will tell you what is wrong and how to fix it and nothing more. They will tell you what you need to do and what you can delay for a period of time.They have helped us countless times and we will never use anyone else!!!

Told a price($250-300) to find an issue with our car diagnose. Then asked for more time after 2.5wks of "looking" for issue and we declined. Picked up the car and told it could be this, this, or this but we need more time but right now it's almost $600 for time! I DO NOT RECOMMEND they charged us for looking which we had no issue with but not $600 for looking and not told ANYTHING to be fixed. Especially when we were told before hand a price to diagnose and then another when we denied more time at pick up!RESPONSE:The fact that you just basically rewrote the invoice that you had gave us is you trying to justify to the Google review world. But the fact is when I called you and asked you for a price to diagnose an issue with the car you gave me a price! Once you reach that amount you should have done the respectful thing and called and told us you're at that $250-300 amount that I had gave you to diagnose the car would you like to go further or what would you like to do? But you chose not to and take advantage of the situation charging $120 an hour which got to the point of almost being $600 with no answers and I don't know why you mentioned the freon because that was a whole $9! Again the fact is you took advantage of a situation because you told us a price that we were okay with and I stated that to you and once it got to that point you should have been respectful and reached out and said it's over that amount what would you like to do but you did it that's the reason for your review.

I have been going here for a couple of years now and the staff is wonderful. They are really good at explaining what is going on with your vehicle and prioritizing what needs to be fixed, while at the same time trying to save you money and tell you what can wait to be fixed later on down the road. They are great, and I highly recommend them!

As a single lady, it is difficult to find a mechanic I trust. G & S has been kind, trust worthy and reasonable. They explain everything. High quality service and fast. The owner saw me on the side of the road one day... He stopped, looked at the car and offered help. I will never go anywhere else. I'd refer a anybody here!

Emily and Sean are super easy to work with. They will help you with whatever is going on with your car. Very professional and honest. They make sure you understand what is wrong and what needs fixed in terms you can understand. Going the extra mile is something that they make sure they do with their customers. Very satisfied!

Good people you can trust. Excellent work at a fair price. Really appreciated Emily's straight answers and Russ's help getting our 2005 Escape back on the road in a timely manner. Would certainly refer them and use their service again.

Great family, great service, and honest. They are much farther away from me than other automotive shops, but I'd rather drive the extra several miles or even have my vehicle towed there because they all are helpful and work intelligently to correct problems. I'd say one of the best in the area.

Not good mechanics and totally un professional. They had so many excuses why it was taking so long ( short handed) finally got the car car back and the engine blew less than a mile down the road. They just brought the broken car back and dropped it in the middle of the yard while I was at work. It s in the middle of my grass.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

I was panicking when my car stoped starting and was recommended here. Im glad I was. Emily was so kind and explained everything that was going on. Shawn was great at the end when he explained what he fixed and why.

My car was shutting off and dying on me so I took it here. It ran perfectly fine for the week they had it but when I got it back it did the samething. They couldn't diagnose the problem so after about a week I took it to Auto Village an they discovered that my alternator was bad. Edit: IT was a red 2003 Yukon Denali xl

Love this place, I'm a grad student with an older car and G & S always helped get my car fixed up at a great price. They were even once able to fix my car after several other places told me they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.

Lady in the office in inept. Cost me 100s extra. Refused to own an ounce of responsibility for the situation she created. Would not recommend to my friends
