What a wonderful place! They fixed my tire while I waited. Amazing to look at plaques on wall and see all they have given back to the local community.

Highly recommended! We got a flat tire nearby this area, and the staff helped us fix the issue with very reasonable price. They also told us about the estimated waiting time, and they finished the work within the estimated time. Will consider to come back if we have other auto issues.

Dissatisfied and disappointed of this place. I took my vehicle there to get fix from a noise in one of the tires, it was fixed but after they it started to do another noises and act different. My car is old but I don t drive it too much and I get good care of it. When I picked it up the control panel looked like Christmas tree with lights on (it didn t have any light on when I took it there) and an extra weird sound and feeling on it, -we know our cars and what noises and issues have- of course I returned it to be fixed but they told me that it was another thing different to why I took it there originally. Why they didn t detected the issue when they fix the original noise? Shady..-Worth mentioning the car didn t do that noise originally until after it was fix so they fix one thing and unfix another to make me go back and charge me more?Didn t have other choice I paid for that too, but after some days it started to squeak and squeak loud when I turn any side or when I go in reverse. I thought to bring it back but for sure they will say is another thing and they will charge me again. I d like to be part of the good reviews but unfortunately they were so unfair with me, I m paying for a service well done, I don t understand why the dishonest work, and the fact they fix what they didn t have to fix -or unfix better say. I m a woman and probably they thought I m dumb and don t know how to diagnose a problem. I don t know how to fix and exactly what is the problem in a car but I have common sense and I know they ripped me off based in my gender. My car was better before they put their hands in it for sure.So unethical.

I have been to this place a few times now and I should have left a review a long time ago. Every time I walk in, I am greeted professionally. The gentleman that has helped me all three times is so kind. This place is honest and very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend anyone to them for any type of service on your vehicle.

Made an appointment. Waited all day to get a phone call. Still never got anything when I called. Was told it still might be two or three hours till they know something wasted an entire week. Waiting for the appointment. Terrible customer service. Talk to you like your beneath them or dumb. Would never return

I have been coming here for many years. Is Fred, Chuck, and Jim have have always taken really good care of my vehicle. Went in for a front end alignment and oil change. Mentioned to them to check the brakes.. That they felt a little soft. After throw inspection of the brakes. They told me all was good they never tried to upsell me. They are good mechanics and very honest.

Amazing Service (Car & Customers) and the prices are phenomenal! Not sure how I haven t taken my car in sooner! They are very efficient and great at communicating. I thought I was looking at thousands of dollars in fixing but I was wrong! So happy to have my car back! Thanks again! You have a forever customer!

I needed a wheel swapped and I brought it in off the car. Super quick service, the counter guys were nice and it was cheap. I would definitely recommend them.

I been going here for almost 15 years... they have always been honest with me on my repairs! Not like others that love to try to take advantage of women! Even bought a vehicle off them it was one of the best used ones I have bought in my auto buying days! Chuck and Fred are great!

Found my new favorite place to get work done on my car. A little less than a year ago, my car's A/C went out. The place I usually take my car to get work done on wanted to charge me around $1700 to buy and replace the air compressor. This place charged me half, if not a little less, than the other place did. They have honest prices and great service and I look forward to coming back again in the future!

I have great service every time I go to DeVries. I feel they go above and beyond with customer service. Fred DeVries is the most honest businessman I have ever met. He has quality technicians and great employees handling scheduling and work orders. A pleasure to walk thru their doors.

My husband and I are down to one car and we knew we had a big problem when the tires were making an irregular clanging. The staff, Chuck, in particular, was amazing! They fixed our car, but what is more they SAVED our car and our Christmas! I cannot write a more glowing review for this staff. We are so blessed by the work and what they charged us was like a miracle because we were really thinking the worst. Truly the best place in town to get your car fixed and have peace of mind! These guys have been here along time. They have great knowledge andI always feel like I'm in the right place. It is evident that the have kept up with the computerized cars with all the digital equipment around. There is a key drop for Night Drop Off and a well lit lot. There is plenty of parking. A very comfortable and pleasant waiting area.

These guys are straight shooters. I moved to Michigan City from Porter County where I had a great mechanic for 25 years. Was recommended to DeVries by a friend. They have not disappointed! MC Businesses could learn a lot about customer service/quality from these guys.

Had to wait 50 minutes after i made an appointment. They let me know when I got there because they were catching up from previous day. Always get good service so I am not really complaining too much. Good price. Good service.

I dented my tire rim on a huge pothole and Devries got me fixed up in 30 minutes for a great price! Chuck was very professional and nice! Also I love the waiting room! Great place to spend 30 minutes of my day!

Staff was kind and knowledgeable, approachable and services were fairly priced. Hanging out with the dogs in the lobby was also quite fun. They only negative I have is they took a bit longer than I excepted.

I was driving across the country when I suddenly had major damage to my trailer. Not knowing anything about the area, I resorted to Google to find a good wheel shop and found DeVries. I couldn't have been any luckier! They were very professional and worked very hard to solve my problem so I could get back on the road, going as far as coming in early to do some research. The damage ended up being bad enough that I had to replace a major part and leave my trailer there for about two weeks (waiting for part delivery), which they didn't put up any fuss over. They finished the repair a week early and under the price they quoted me. Friendliness, honesty, professionalism? It turns out you CAN find all three in one place!
