What a wonderful experience! They helped me with understanding and filing an auto insurance claim. They kept me in the loop with the steps and progress towards resolution of payment. Not only is their work good but, they are very supportive and knows their stuff!! Go here if you are looking to be treated like family!

Had to get 2 new sets of brakes for my Kia. I got quoted just under $1500 for the whole job at the Kia dealership on US-20, which is clearly highway robbery. I called around town and was quoted the cheapest price from here at a little over $680 for the both of them. It took a week to get the day scheduled, which is no fault of their own (the city skipped plowing this street during that snowstorm because of the new train tracks making it a dead end road). Once I got there, they were friendly, quick, and efficient. They even told me I didn't necessarily need new rear brakes pads, even though Kia told me the whole thing needed replaced.On a side note, we saw a Fed-Ex truck get stuck in the snow on that road. The mechanic here towed the guy out with his own truck. It would have been easy for them to ignore the guy and let him figure his own issue out, but to me that showed character. Good people here!

Great auto shop! Was traveling out of town when my steering locked up. This shop took my car in last minute and had it back to me before I left. They were very honest and thorough. They fixed it up and made me feel comfortable that it was safe to make the trip home!

Wish I could do a no star. The prices seemed good until I realized why it was a good price. My battery light was on and they told me I needed an alternator and with the 300 hundred dollar bill including the part they would fix it. Well after that they called me and said they need more time to fix it. What you said you figured the problem out. I took my car and went to apex and they found a wire broke really close to the alternator. They refuse to give me my money back. The test the place looks I should have never gave them a chance but I gave them a chance and got ripped off hard. Do not trust this place.

needed help with my car suspension issue to get home (Chicago), every other shop was too busy at the time. I was lucky enough to come across 1 stop auto shop they Immediately took great care of me. If it wasn t for them I d still be stuck out there! Not only do they work fast but the hospitality and customer service was phenomenal. I would choose them every time. Thanks to them I was able to get back on the road without any other issues. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to 1 stop auto shop. Fantastic experience! I had a major breakdown with my BMW and had my car towed into this shop. The owners Crystal and Jason were so accommodating and amazing in a very difficult time and not only were able to get my car running again, they were more than fair in their prices. I was here on vacation and my brakes started acting odd. I called 1stop and explained my situation. The lady that answered the phone was so sweet, kind and helpful. They got me in during my vacation. My brakes were fixed and he was honest about another issue and said it did not need to be addressed now, but when I get home I may want to consider replacing something else. Crystal and Jason did a fantastic Job on my 84 yo mom's car. their shop is the highest rated in the entire area due to their outstanding care of the customer. I was in and out of here as quickly as humanly possible. The price for removing and replacing a muffler was less than 280 landed. I can't say enough good things about this shop and it's amazing owners!

I was so impressed with the quality of parts used and the price, I brought another car in on the same day! This place is the real deal. Trustworthy, considerate, and professional people. My car was running rough. The check engine light and the traction control/ stability warnings were also flashing. They fixed my car in one day and have it running like it s brand new. I learned a lot and got treated with respect. I m actually glad my car broke down where it did because now I don t have to worry about where I will take my car when it has to be serviced or an issue. One stop auto shop will save you from shady mechanics and the dealership repair shops. So grateful!

Came in for a brake job and oil change on a Saturday and not only were they open, but they got it done FAST! Krystal was great! Everything from the service to the price was excellent. I was new to the area and nervous about finding a shop to go to. Reading the reviews online, I decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint. I went in to have a rusted hole in my exhaust system patched, a wheel bearing replaced, and an oil change. Krystal was kind and courteous and professional. The mechanic (im sorry to have missed his name) explained what he was going to do as well as making me aware of other potential problems that could be hiding so there were no surprises. Thankfully there were none. They offered transparency on parts and prices, as I had options to choose from and they explained them and were not pushy in getting me to choose the higher cost parts. Also my final bill was less than I anticipated. The whole service was done in less than a day and I left a satisfied customer. If you are looking for a shop, I urge you to give them a try and support your local shops before the big box shops. FIVE STARS ALL DAY!Services: Exhaust, Oil change

I have never had such a positive experience at any shop. They were so kind, generous with their time, and actually listened to our concerns. They took the time to keep us completely informed about the entire process. I am grateful to have found them and HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone needing an honest, good, mechanic that actually cares.

Highly Recommend. 1 stop auto is the #1 vehicle service shop to go too in Laporte County especially in michigan city. I have had experiences at other shops which are higher priced and the reason I've come to 1 stop. I've now had numerous services done here bc they're good people, very trust worthy, they treat you good & as family, and their prices are always lower then any shop around. You can always count on this shop and being upfront and honest with you. They use high quality parts & service is impeccable. I had an issue with my jeep not starting. I took it there and was greeted by friendly and very helpful employees. They where able to get me in on a Saturday and found the issue and had me out the door the same day. Awesome work by the couple. They don't have a overhead but what they did to my truck was amazing. They basically put everything from total smash back to like new truck. I was amazed by their craftsmanship, and to top off, It was cheaper than any other shop that was around the 5 mile parameter. Please check them out!

I stopped as an out of town driver due to noise/ shaking while braking. After a test drive and thorough exam including OBDII diagnostic test, it was concluded that my bearings were the cause of the noise. As I was about to sell the car I chose not to proceed with the job. HOWEVER, if I were keeping the car I would definitely had 1 STOP do the job. They re quote was reasonable and I felt comfortable I was not being conned into something more than needed with bogus fear tactics experienced at other corporate shops. I wish these good honest people well in they re business. I wish I lived closer! They would be my go to shop.

The clerk was very friendly. mechanic is complely honest. and i got to strike up a good conversation despite the delay in parts that has nothing to do with shop. Would recommend to anyone who needs reasonable prices and honest mechanic work done.

Very good experience here! Went here for a checkup on an evap leak, and they took care of it and looked at the rest of my car for no extra charge! Friendly and honest shop, will definitely be coming back while I'm here

I go to this place all the time with my Chevrolet Malibu stressed out, they always seem to know what s wrong with my car in minutes.. they are really smart people that know what they are doing.. I don t regret coming to this place and will be my mechanic from now on.. best shop in city no doubt and yes I ve been to many..

We had a piece of trim come loose half way to Chicago on vacation. We stopped here and the man came out to our vehicle right away. He cleaned it up and glued it back in and didn t charge us. Very friendly and professional and much appreciated!! Thank you!
