I did an online appointment, but when I got here, they knew nothing about the appointment. The sitting area is clean, and there's no free coffee. it would have been a nice touch. Went in for a screw tire repair. So, the tires were all found to be at the state limit on tread. It looks like I'm getting new tires again. The last 4 tires only lasted less than 3 years.

Terrible Job. Went to get an alignment done and the alignment is completely off. The short guy with the dreads took off in the car not knowing how to drive stick. Redlining, missing gears and riding the clutch. Came back into the parking lot going over 30 MPH and was completely disrespectful and aggressive when confronted about it. He's too small for that. He even broke the motor mounts in the process with his reckless driving and not understanding manual transmission. Awful place. Management did not care. They don't need to be treating customers vehicles like that. Small guy even got all shakey and hid in the back when he couldn't handle being confronted about the abuse to the vehicle.

I needed a new tire in the middle of winter and although they didn t have too many options for tires for my car they were super nice helpful and ridiculously fast in getting the tire replaced. I would highly recommend coming to this tire barn for any tire issue you may have. They are very fast and friendly.

Took my tire here for a small puncture from a nail. Didn t realize until the next day that they had actually scratched my brand new rim. Very disappointed with the service. They all have this hard up attitude also here rude to be honest! Gonna call corporate and post some pictures of the damage. It s not very serious damage but a brand new rim should not be damaged or scratched in anyway from your employees or employees equipment. Don t take your car here unless you want them to disrespect you and you vehicle.

We took our BMW X1 here for a tire rotation and balance because I noticed some wobbling seemed to be from real tires. They performed what was asked and when we drove the car again the shaking was in the front now and worse. I noticed the wheel weights had not been changed at all. Took it to Mavis tire and asked them to check balance and they were out of balance and they noticed the tires had very uneven wear. Showed them to me and I knew it needed new tires right away as my wife drives this car far to work everyday. Replaced them and all good now. I will never go to Tire Barn again.

On Sunday (most tire places closed) I had no waiting time and tires in stock. Great experience. Normally I have to take a full day off of work to get my tires replaced. It only took me maybe 45 minutes.

My first experience at Tire Barn was certainly my last as well. I was looking for a new set of tires for my family vehicle. This is the vehicle my wife uses daily with the kids. I paid $1500 for a set of tires. I knew the price was a bit steep, but I didn t want to go somewhere else and have to wait another day or so. (I live 30 mins away from any tire shops). My car did not need an alignment, but again this is my family car. I want this car to be in top top shape 24/7 365 days a year. So I paid for an alignment with new tires. About 2 months later my wife began mentioning that she had bad traction during rainy days. I took a peak at the front tires as this is FWD car and saw no issues. About 2 weeks later we got our first snowfall of the year and we re on the road. My vehicle handled like I was driving on ice cubes. I could barely get over 20mph without the back end attempting to swing out. I found rear tires were bald on inner halves. Realizing this is a very dangerous situation for my family, I took the next day off of work and brought the vehicle to Tire Barn. They saw it and said did you get an alignment after new tires . Yes. Who did your alignment . You all. Then they went back to discuss and checked out suspension. Found no issues and came back saying I had obviously hit something very very hard. I explained I do the majority of the driving in this car and know for a fact that is not the case. I explained the alignment readings don t make sense as my front tires had not been knocked out bad but the rears were. Also to hit something and knock the rear alignment out this much would ve blown the tires. And lastly there is absolutely no damage to anything else on my vehicle (visually or mechanically) that would be consistent with hitting anything, especially not something as hard as being claimed. After going back and forth and wasting hours of my time they agreed to give me new rear tires. So they put old tires to rear and installed new tires in front. However they are not willing to validate my warranty for these tires. I also asked multiple times what suspension issues could cause this. They never even offered to help saying We checked, suspension is fine and You hit something really hard . I was extremely unpleased with being blamed for something I didn t do, wasting my time, not getting the warranty I was promised when making a big purchase, and just absolute negligence from what are supposed to be professional technicians. Also, I was informed on this visit they are unable to do tire alignment due to machine being broken for at least 5 weeks. So I had to pay for a new alignment elsewhere. I got opinions from 2 other shops mechanics and they agreed that suspension has no issues whatsoever and the out of alignment readings make no sense. To get this far out of alignment would be consistent with a car accident. For reference this vehicle only has 70000 miles.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Every single branch has the same issues. All are extremely slow and unprepared for anything. I tried to walk in here last week to have a leaks looked at on my tire, which I bought here, and was told I need to schedule an appointment or wait 3 hours. Made an appointment for today and showed up and was told I d have to wait 4 hours for them to look at it. What s the point of even scheduling an appointment if it means literally nothing to them?! Terrible company. Take your business elsewhere.

In and out in an hour for a sudden completely flat tire that happened just as I was coming off the highway. Perfect timing as I was right there by Tire Barn. Courteous crew.Have used them in the past for new tires. Highly recommend.

I had 4 tires delivered here for a truck. The online quote to have them installed was under $30, however, they laughed in my face when I arrived expecting to pay just that. They tried to tell me it would cost $50 a wheel, when I had two other quotes for almost half of that. The little buzz-cut loser behind the desk also told me that anyone who would do it for less than this place would not do a good job. I just paid $86 for all for corners and somehow there are no vibrations or anything. It blows my mind that they tried to throw dirt on another business name for doing the same job for a better price. I hope nobody else gives them any business until they clean up this act. Pathetic place of business.

I went here expecting there to be free WiFi as advertised, my device picked up no WiFi signal. I guess not worst thing that could have happened but aggravating. Otherwise my experience was good, let me put some miles on my tires and get a few tire rotations before I can say if I ll be back or not.

Very bad experience they did oil services before I went there to do it again .but this time they told me than they don't have the tools to do because they need special tool to remove the filter .. so I asked how you do last 2ctimes before. Now they damage my car they not be responsible for fixing it I'm so angry who's going to fix it the mess they do and who's going to pay for it

These guys in merrillville rock.I had a bolt in my tire and they had me pulled in within 25 mins and back on the road. Me and my wife always go here for any of our tire issues or repairs.

Both managers Albert and Jim are the best. They have helped me with tires for my cars and my camper. They always go out of their way to help. Their service is excellent. The guys L.MCDOWELL and S.PURCELL are great techs. A very respectful place to deal with and I will always recommend this Tire Barn to my friends.

Every family member buy their tires here. We have been pleased with the prices and service. Bought tires for granddaughter there and feel we got a good price. Plus they follow through with the service end of sales

Oh my goodness where to begin! Kevin and all the guys in the shop took great care of me today. I had break problems at no fault of Tirebarn, they called all over trying to find 2 bolts. Unfortunately they could not locate any. My phone battery was quickly running out, they provided me a phone charger so I could contact a friend to possibly find 2 bolts. I sat there a total of 3 plus hours. I appreciate them taking on a problem that didn't originate at their shop. Yes I'll go back and purchase tires in the future. THANKS ALL!

Waited 45 mins despite having an appointment. Came for advertised free wheel alignment check but when I showed up for their free service and they assumed they couldn t make money off me they were very dismissive and seemed like I was bothering them for even showing up. I did need tires and mentioned it but never even attempted to offer me a price for tires. Alignment was way off and told could not align my car. As I looked at the sheet I realized they did not put my vehicle in correctly when they did the alignment check. They had it entered as awd when it is rwd so of course the caster reading was way off. I wouldn t bring any vehicle here for an alignment considering they can t even input the right vehicle into their machine. I would have brought it up but they were very eager to get rid of me. Bought my tires at discount tire. Got my alignment somewhere else.

We hit a huge rock on 65 right before the exit and limped it in. Jim (the manager) and his team saved our entire anniversary vacation trip. They got us in right in, checked all 4 tires and got the damaged one off. The rim was bent and we had no donut, but Jim knew we were in a hurry to get to Chicago, so he sent one of his team personally to another store that fixes this kind of damage. The wheel was beyond repair, so Jim negotiated to get us another rim that would work for our car to get us through the weekend. Then he had his team member bring that back, check it, and then refit it (and all our new tires) to the car.The effort Jim and his team went to was spectacular. There were plenty of times when a lesser person would have said "nothing I can do." I watched him expertly navigate this repair with thoughtfulness and expertise, all while also helping other customers and getting corporate tech support to fix their printer. Simply the finest repair experience of my life and an actual pleasure to get to watch someone truly great at their profession solving problems.

Everyone at the Merrillville Tire Barn location are always so helpful. My daughter had a nail in her tire, (she was informed that it was unrepairable by a shop she stopped at on the way home to get air). We got to your place 20 minutes before closing. Most places would have said we had to leave it and come back tommorrow. (Which would have been an inconvenience because we both work).They did not hesitate and assisted us to get my child safely back on the road. You have a great team at that location. I highly recommend them.

I checked tire prices at four establishments and the Tire Barn had them all beat by $60 for four tires installed. And the service is exceptionally fast -- 45 minutes to install four tires.
