Very happy with services here. My daughter s vehicle broke down and they were able to get it recovered and repaired the same day. My brother in law recommended them to me because he uses them for his fleet service. They did an honest repair and got my kid on the road quick. Very grateful for their service. Will be using them again for any future needs.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received; they got me in right away, completed the work much quicker than I anticipated, and the price was more than reasonable.The most impressive aspect of the visit was when I was going to make an unwise decision and they told me, in a nice way, I was being a fool. It is very refreshing to be told what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. Nothing is better than straightforward honesty. This will now be my new go to repair center.

This is a great place that gives you that neighborhood feeling they re genuinely concerned about you and your vehicle. They were able to quickly and accurately diagnose my cars suspension, tire alignment and front and rear brake issues then fixed for a reasonable price. I ll definitely be going back to them for repairs on my other family vehicles as I genuinely felt they were honest in their vehicle repair assessments and the repairs were done within a very reasonable amount of time. Thanks so much.

Honestly I'm always skeptical dealing with any car repair shop but this business was great! From beginning to the end I was extremely satisfied!!! Customer service was A+ and Artie was super helpful with explaining everything to me about my car. I will recommend anyone to go here because I know if I ever need anything done on my car in the future I'm definitely going back!!!

This was my first visit. Jennifer and Artie took great care of my car. I needed an oil change and front brakes. Price was low. I received a first time discount. I will definitely return to get my rear brakes. This is my new car repair place. Cash or credit cards accepted.Excellent customer service.Artie and Jennifer see you soon. Thank you. Walked in , wanted a muffler delete , they got me in and out within 45 minutes , along with excellent work . The welds are perfect and it s exactly what I was looking for !

I had to delete my review from 11 months ago so that I could write another one.. mannnnnnnnn, when I say I say NO ONE is allowed to touch my vehicle, no one but American Complete Auto! They outdid themselves this time! My list of repairs we re taking care of in a timely manner, as always! I feel like I m in a brand new truck. She rides so smooth & runs super quiet. Big Big thanks to Jenn, Arte & the mechanics again.

Great experience! Went to multiple shops in the area that wouldn t attempt to fix my issues with o2 sensors on my 2008 trailblazer but American complete auto repair got me right in and fixed the issue in a very timely manner definitely recommend this shop

This shop is the only place I will ever bring my car. I went in for a new muffler, expecting to pay nearly $1,000. Instead I was told I needed a new sleeve for $100. They could have easily stiffed me for a new muffler, but they are honest and have the best prices around. I was out after an hour wait. Plus, fresh brewed coffee in the waiting area and very clean bathroom (important to me).

Put a hole n my gas tank trying 2 change the stripes installed new tank with messed up wires & smashed a senor, would not stand behind the work try 2 charge another $700. Took 2 another shop $500 later fixed

I had a great experience at this place and will go back again when needed. There were a few things wrong with my car and they were able to get everything diagnosed and fixed in a matter of a couple of hours. I was informed of everything that was happening and given choices about how to proceed. The whole process was very transparent upfront. Everything you could want in an auto care place. I would recommend them to anyone!

This is my second experience with American Complete Auto RepairHad fuel lines put on my 2014 Kia after Kia could not source their own part after discontinuing them. No problems since repair.Most recent: 9/2023Took my daughters car here to have the engine replaced. Timeline to complete the job was as stated. I was a little upset of the fact that they would not install an engine that I procured BUT after a thorough explanation, I understand why they would not use customer sourced parts for this type of job. Picked the vehicle up today.Definitely upfront and honest about repairs and prices.Service: Engine repair

My prior mechanic in Chicago Heights closed his shop and retired ( I used him for over 20 years ). He was the only one I trusted with our cars. I really needed a mechanic that was trustworthy in Northwest Indiana. I decided to take a chance on American Complete Auto and I m so glad I did. Arte and his team of mechanics fixed all of our cars. Arte will actually show you the piece(s) that need to be fixed. He s never charged me to fix things that do not need to be fixed. He s honest. I really like that they are quick and efficient. They usually check your car out within an hour. Most places aren t able to keep up. Most times he can fix them the same day and in a reasonable amount of time unless your car needs extensive work (ours needed tons of work). Now our 2010 and 2011 cars ride like they re brand new. I m also impressed that they never have cars sitting overnight in parking lot. I steer far away from shops that keep over 5+ cars outside. That usually means it s going to take forever to get it fixed. Lol. They don t take appointments you can just walk in. Not many places offer that either. The waiting room is comfy and probably the best I ve been to because you don t feel like you re in a mechanic shop. Bathroom is designed nicely and very clean.I love Jennifer at the customer service desk. She treats all the customers the same. She s very easy going, polite and knowledgeable.If you re on the fence about finding a shop don t hesitate to come here. Have peace of mind that it will be done right!Thanks again Arte, Jennifer and Team!

I went here because there was a noise under my car, and the lady told me the mechanic was 95% sure that the part was causing the problem. I needed him to be 100% sure that that was the problem not 95%. Fast forward I paid $500 to fix the issue. After they were done working on my car I drove off and heard the same noise. I brought my car back the week after that and told them I still heard that noise. Come to find out that $500 I gave them was to fix a part that wasn t making the noise to begin with. They said they wanted me to fix that part because it was a safety issue, and told me the actual parts making the noise is $600. Originally I came here for a noise I was hearing, so why have me fix a part that wasn t making the noise. I m going somewhere else to fix my car. They just wasted my time.

I had to get my Hub Assembly replaced on my front passenger side. Arte and Jenn were very kind and very helpful. Jenn from the start was patient with me and explained the whole process of getting my car looked at and actually fixed. They took me as a walk in, immediately diagnosed my car, and got it fixed the next day. Not only did Jenn explain costs and what exactly was going on but Arte also came to the lobby and explained everything to me himself. He cared about teaching me about what was going on and giving me advice for my car in the future. Not many shops go out of their way for you like that. I didn t talk to any of the other guys in the back fixing up the cars but I do know that my car was fixed quickly and I have not ran into any issues so props to them as well.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Got a whole new exaust system from my long tube headers back. It sounds great, they did exactly as I asked. Even had me come back and check that I liked where my tips would be. Will be recommending to friends.
