Geist Auto goes above and beyond to help their customers. Chris has been very helpful in troubleshooting my electrical issues in my van. He has spent a lot of time on the phone with me as different issues have come up. I very much trust this company.

First time using their service, and I'm very impressed. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, to the time I picked up my SUV, they were friendly and professional. Although I hope I don't need repairs any time soon, tis for sure will the place where I bring my car for maintenance. I highly recommend their mechanical services.

I am very happy with the service I received at Geist Auto. When my car started going haywire after getting close to hitting 100,000 miles, they took care of multiple major repairs (i.e., replaced timing chain, catalytic converter, etc.) at a fair price. They were prompt, professional, and most important, honest and transparent. Integrity is a big deal for me when it comes to customer service, which is why I have a great appreciation the service I received. Thank you Chris and members of the Geist Auto team!

Absolutely do not go here. I came in a couple months ago to fix my window. They fixed it and at first didn t work so took it back and they fixed it and it worked. 4 months later and my same window is now stuck inside my door and won t roll up. If it weren t for me being 2 hours away now I d be back and they d be fixing it. Stay away from here!

Chris and his team is as real as it gets. Great mechanics that know what they are talking about and out here trying rip you off! They are up front honest with you and do great work. They also back there work 100%

Chris and his staff are PHENOMENAL!!! They fixed our AC in our truck within a few hours!!! I called in a panic and they checked it right away!! They have always taken care of our families vehicles these last 4 years. They are friendly, honest, reliable, extremely fast and thorough. We completely trust them, and are so grateful for their expertise and help. You will not be disappointed!! No better car shop in the area!!

Geist Auto Service was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I came here. I will be using Geist Auto Service for all future repairs and maintenance. Chris and his team were amazing, and actually showed me the components in my vehicle that were in need of repair, showed what would happen if they had broken, and explained how these parts worked. I have never felt so educated about my car, and they answered other questions I had too. I came in an hour earlier than my appointment and they managed to get to my vehicle early even though I was prepared to wait, and they were very efficient. I was treated and charged fairly, and as someone who has been taken advantage of by former dealerships and mechanics, I cannot emphasize enough how refreshing this was. Chris at Geist Auto is really great. I towed my 2014 Mercedes to him with an oil leak and dead battery I thought. Chris right away diagnosed my car, and got it fixed in a few days, he gave me a clear explanation of how he tested the car and what was wrong with it and how to proceed to fix it . I recommend Chris and Geist Auto Service to anybody that needs great engine work.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Great service and knowledge about cars. My Jeep Wrangler was overheating and they repaired it the next day. Dealerships couldn t get me in for 2 weeks. Cost of repair was extremely reasonable also.

I can t thank Chris enough. His name was highly recommended in one of my Jeep groups, and after battling with the dealership for 3 months on shoddy work and repeated issues, I needed a 2nd opinion from an expert (not just my hobby level knowledge) to confirm my suspicions that things still weren t fixed properly. Chris was available at my appointment time, and complete the inspection quickly and throughly. Not only did he write out a nice detailed list but he took the time to show me where all the issues were and how to identify that the problem.10/10, 100%, 5 stars. Absolutely would recommend Chris and will be bringing my vehicle here for future work.

I had my radiator hose & thermostat replaced 3 weeks ago. I paid $375 with a warranty. Yesterday morning, coolant began leaking from what they had just replaced. This caused my car to overheat. Again, it was coming from a hose that was replaced by this business 3 wks ago. I dropped my car off immediately, & informed them of the issue via voicemail. Chris called me back saying that my radiator disintegrated & I ll need a new radiator; & this cost would be ANOTHER $800. After going back & forth with Chris about the true issue, he hung up on us when we brought up the warranty for the 3wk old work he did on the hose that we knew was the issue. After getting nowhere, I picked my car up refusing to pay them another dime. Chris had the audacity to say he isn t going to charge me for the diagnostic, when the issue should ve been resolved under the warranty anyway!!! They didn t even connect the hose that connects to the coolant reservoir back, IM GLAD I CHECKED UNDER MY HOOD BEFORE TAKING MY CAR OFF OF THEIR PREMISES.I had my dad look at my vehicle & he discovered that the hose just needed to be pulled out and clamped to stop the leakage. MY CAR IS BACK FINE, FOR FREE!!!!!!!I would not recommend their services to anyone. They will definitely try to get over on you by making you spend more money & saying that something is wrong when it s really not. Their hours of operation are an inconvenience if you re a full time weekly worker.

Had a problem with my rear brakes. I stopped late Monday afternoon and was able to gen an appointment for the next day. I dropped off the car at noon and the car was ready by the time I got off from work at 5:30. I've told 5 different people what it cost for the service done and each person was amazed at the low price. This is the 3rd vehicle I've had serviced there so I wasn't surprised at all.

Chris at Geist kicks A$$Just when i thought it would be a week before my car would be done Chris not only finds the brake pump but gets my car fixed and road ready same day. I had been without my car for almost 10 days. I took it from one dealership and had it towed to Geist Auto. Chris took care of me. If anyone has any auto needs, Go see Chris at Geist auto. He s knowledgeable. Proficient. And won t jerk u around fooling with yr car. He s a straight shooter. And their prices are extremely reasonable!!Services: Auto brake repair, Battery

I'm from out of town. The clutch on my compressor went out in the middle of July right before I had to drive my family all the back to N.C. These guys diagnosed it and fixed it at a fair price late on a Friday afternoon. They even gave me a lift to and from the place I was staying (because it was nearby) while they did the work. These guys clearly know what they are doing and they seem to care about the customer. I highly recommend.Service: A/C installation & repair

Chris and company are true pros and committed to helping customers even at their own inconvenience. Right before my daughter headed home to Chicago, I found she had a wiper fluid tank problem and a potential issue with her coolant. I called around, but no one would even look at my daughter s car except for Chris.They got us squared away even though it ran past their close time. Chris even wrote some recommendations down for my daughter when she got home to prevent other issues.Chris and his buddy really took care of us when no one else would. Geist Auto Service was extremely professional and honest when it came to locating and correcting a battery draw on my car. They were able to find and correct the issue for a fraction of what it would have cost to replace the part we initially thought needed to be replaced. Not only were they able to quickly solve my issue, but they were also able to get my car in the same day I called and had it ready the following morning. Compare that with the dealership which was booked out a full month in advance. I definitely found my go-to for auto repairs and service.Services: Electrical, Battery

My 2016 Chevy Silverado transmission started shuddering between gears, so I brought my truck here for a diagnostic. They were the only facility in town willing to take a look at it, same day. Even with an appointment, I showed up assuming I would be waiting for several hours (as most other shops are not mindful of your time and they get to you when they get to you). But right on schedule, Chris promptly brought my truck back to take a look. The guys in the shop were very friendly and respectful while I waited. Chris took his time investigating the problem and even though they were not able to make the repair themselves, he was able to provide solid referrals for other shops that could. It's rare to have an auto body shop not take advantage of you and sell things you don't need. It was a breath of fresh air to have someone shoot straight with me, to be quite honest. I won't be taking my vehicles anywhere else from here on out!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They are very courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I used to take my car to another place but they were always too busy so I tried Geist Auto Service. They replaced the struts on my SUV. They do a wonderful job, get me in VERY quickly (I most recently needed brakes done in a hurry) and they priced $300 below the dealer.
